So I don't usually write reviews for Targets, cause once you've seen one you've seen them all BUT this may have been THE best Target I've ever been to! First of all the layout is a bit different which already let me know I was in for a ride. I swear all the things you see online can actually be found in this Target. Open until midnight. I grew up in the land of Target only being open until 10 PM so that's a huge bonus right there. Add plenty of parking, associates that ask me if I need any assistance when I have that "where the heck will I find [item]" on my face, and a check out with 31 items and all of them were the right price = 5 stars. read more

Buyer beware, they do NOT honor their return policy even when you want just a valid even exchange if you bought it on sale and the price has gone up. My friend and I stopped by this target to go shopping for some things, and also to make an even exchange for a Fitbit Charge HR that my friend's boyfriend had given her for Xmas. He'd bought it on sale at Target in Houston on Dec 21, 2016, and they'd returned it for a backlight leak issue. This was the SECOND Fitbit that had an issue with the backlight leaking around the clock area... light always showed through even if it wasn't supposed to be showing the time. This watch had the problem even worse than the first and was outright defective. During the exchange, she decided to get a different color, and a bigger watch so she could see it better when exercising and checking her heart rate. However, Gracie in the return department wouldn't honor Target's return policy no matter WHAT, because the price difference was too much for her to allow it now since the item is no longer on sale. We told her that the boyfriend wouldn't have bought the Fitbit at Target had he known they wouldn't honor their return policy in case of a defective product. We asked for a manager, so someone could see she was putting Target in a precarious legal situation by not honoring the return policy stated on their receipt and website, and to give them one last chance to make things right. She said she WAS the manager and there was no way this target was going to make this exchange. She said we could have the money back, but they wouldn't do a simple even exchange. I asked why she was doing this, and she just kept going back to the fact that there was just too huge of a price difference now. I found that irrelevant, since we just wanted an even exchange on something we'd already paid for. We just wanted an actual working Fitbit in the proper size/color. The whole time we dealt with Gracie she was giving us this look like we were trying to pull a fast one, like we were scandalous con-artists, and making us feel like criminals. She kept repeating the same line no matter what question we asked. "Ma'am, we're not exchanging this, there's too much of a price difference." Obviously, the Fitbit was bought during a sale to save money, but the sale is over. So this point is irrelevant, since we just wanted an even exchange! I'll never ever be back to this target. Apparently, this is commonplace here, if you read some of the other reviews about them at various review sites. Buyer beware!! Also, other than exchange issues... they are pretty dinky and small on the inside, super old looking on the inside, and don't carry many things. The place is worse than most walmarts Ive been to. This Target rocks! There's always parking and the checkout lines are well staffed. They have a better selection of swimsuits than the Super Target down the steet, and they're usually less busy because more people go to the Super store nearby. It's recently been renovated, inside and out, which makes for an even more pleasant shopping experience. read more

Target is the best place to go for daytime shopping in Rockwall. The lines aren't a mile long like the local Wal-Mart, the store is well-kept and clean, and they usually have everything you need. They also have a great selection of clothes, which usually go on clearance pretty quickly so you can always get a great deal if you wait a week or two. read more

I've lived in the neighborhood less than a month and I'm already sick of this Target. It's a shame, since it's the closest/most convenient general "store" to my apartment. All of the following has already happened to me here: 1) An elderly, crochety cashier rudely told me "You cancelled it" when I tried to indicate that I didn't want cash back on the keypad. 2) I was in a very long line, an express line for that matter, when the cashier told me and the lady in front of me that he was going on break and we needed to check out somewhere else. Luckily the lady at the jewelry department called me over to ring me up. a) That's another thing, this location is always incredibly overcrowded and understaffed, and those who are staffed ring people up as slowly as possible. b) The parking lot is way too small to handle said overcrowdedness. I regularly come on weekdays around 12 or 1 and I still have to park at the back of the lot. 3) They have been out of several food items since the day I moved in. I know this isn't a Super Target, but come on. 4) I bought several items that were past their best by date here, and in one case an item was more than a month past. Basically this is a Walmart in disguise and you get what you pay for. I'm avoiding this place like the plague from now on. read more

This is my neighborhood target and by far one of the cleanest i have been too. Here are my problems though... 1. They are always out of stock in the same sizes in both the juniors and women 2. They have pictures in the store advertising women's clothes that they don't carry in the store... at all 3. The new floor plan is annoying esp. now with the Hunter brand items being in the dead center of juniors dept (which offers male, female and baby sizes) just a huge cluster of a dept 4. The women's section for work clothes has declined drastically 5. Their return policy now... nightmare. Half the time time they say I've used up my returns on my ID even though they're then ones who force me to do a return on my ID instead of the receipt i provide stating it's not pulling the item # when they scan even though they say the #'s match. So most times they issue me a credit rather than a full refund when i provide a receipt. Another thing, their groceries. I have purchased meats from the refrigerated section that were all spoiled well before the extirpation date. Not cool when already paying a hefty price for meat. One positive change i just noticed and hope continues...Before, i could never find a soul to help me in the store. I mean never. Something miraculous happened yesterday though, I had 3 people within the first 10 min (diff depts) ask if i needed help finding anything and/or telling me to let them know if i ended up needing help finding something. WHAT?! I was pleasantly shocked. Hope this customer service sticks! read more

Stopped in today to grab a few items. As I walked out the door I noticed the price on the receipt for an item was greater than advertised. I returned to the customer service desk to return the item. I politely explained the situation to the associate and she immediately apologized and returned the difference!!! read more

So... Just moved to Dallas a few months ago. This target is in waking distance. We bring shopping bags like everyone else b/c to avoid paying for bags. Sadly bags or not security continues to follow us around the store looking over our shoulders to see if we put stuff in the bag or pockets. It's happened every time. The so called manager Janice Townsen is a joke! I needed to return a set of king sized sheets WITH a receipt. When I purchased the sheets they were on sale. Somehow I think when the descriptions of the sale item was entered into the computer system in preparation of the sale all of the sizes of sheets were entered as twin size as the description. I was returning that brand with the SAME item # WITH a receipt but because I had king size the manager was SOOOOO RUDE!! Honestly I shop at Target every single week for one item or another. I have a brand new , unopened item with a receipt matching the item #. I as the consumer don't know why the hell the description says twin & not king sized. This woman's behavior was out of line. I went to check out and there was a gentleman in front of me with a few items. The I stood behind him for a good 10 minutes while he was checked out. The Hispanic lady waited until I got up to her with my 1 ice cream and looked at me then looked at her light and told me I turned my light off go to the next register. I was kind of annoyed at this but did it anyways. Well as soon as I walked off she turned her light back on and help the3 Hispanic people who had buggies full of stuff. I find it VERY rude that she turned her light off and made me move but then turned her light back on as soon as I left to help 3 Hispanic people. Why? This isn't right in anyway! I am a cartwheel app user so I may have a certain special place in my heart for Target. Overall, it is a well-stocked​ store with a Starbucks. I only really came in for a ZeroWater pitcher and they had one so I'm pretty happy. There was one strange employee who told me he didn't work there when I asked for some help​ but don't let that give you the wrong impression. Everyone else who worked there was super helpful and welcoming, I think I was asked if I needed help at least 10 times within a span 40 minutes. read more

I love Target!! Great prices and stuff that is not just utilitatian but also has a little bit of a design to it. Their clothes are better than you might expect but their home goods and decorations are really what I love about target. Things like towels, bath mats, decorative shelves, etc, those are good at Target. read more

I am overwhelmingly disappointed in our neighborhood Target Store at Medallion Center in Dallas, Texas. The recent remodel has turned the best Target store ever into a jumbled illogical mess. It has cheapened and cluttered the look of the whole store. The only thing they got right with the remodel is the return of registers at the back entrance of the store (a minor highlight amidst the logistical nonsense that's been created). It is so odd to me to not display like-things together, to not display things in a manner that allows the items and areas to complement each other visually as well as by category. I could not hate the new layout more. The old layout was functional and compartmentalized. The whole store felt bigger and each section felt purposeful and complete. When you shopped for clothing in the old layout, you could see across the main isle things that were related such as handbags, belts, scarves, sleepwear and so on. The home / decor section ran through the center of the store. When you shopped for bedding you could look across the isles and see the rugs, window coverings, picture frames, furniture, throw pillows and bath towels. The kitchen area was adjacent to the small appliances and kitchen gadgets. This area then transitioned into the grocery department, paper-goods, cleaning supplies, and pet supplies, etc. Shopping in this new layout feels very much like you're shopping in a Walmart or Dollar General. Within the new layout, the women's clothing is now across from the registers and the pharmacy. It's really messy, congested, and loud. The new layout of the clothes racks seems more like temporary storage. It is confusing and hard to maneuver. The back half of the store seems disconnected and secondary. It's just weird that they've directed the flow of shoppers into such a traffic jam in the front section of the store. The new arrangement of products is counter-intuitive and mismatched. For example, the new swimsuit section is no longer flanked by canvas totes and sunglasses. Now you will find the women's swimsuits across from the pharmacy department where they stock the Depends. And the bedding is now across from the toys, I think. And the lamps and home decor are now across from the women's activewear. I tried shopping there for a few things on Saturday and it was just frustrating. I got out of there as quickly as possible. And let's not mention those weird new displays that are shaped like giant Target shopping baskets randomly placed throughout the store. read more

One star for employees making my evening bad and simply pissing me off.I often shop at this location and young kids are always fun and energetic here but this one guy name Stan is a grinch that stole Christmas.I had great offer to buy 4 candles so I made sure I made my homework printed coupons to find out they don't wanna except it.He called manager doubting my coupons,manager Denise barked at him and me on speakerphone answer was clearly no and she seemed angry it did not end there.I was persistent and wanted to talk to manager he came over and told me he will only take one coupon not four.I tried to explain him his own Target coupon policy but manager Rufus said basically tough and all three of them were staring me like I was trying to pull at a fast one.Give me a break I spent hundreds of dollars at this target I would go to another one but it was late I was embarrassed and went home empty handed and mad as heck apparently all three of them forgot what customer service is all about.Avoid this location especially in the evening you will be dealing with old and annoying employees that don't want to work or see you as a customer God forbid smile.I will be calling corporate tomorrow about this horrible treatment! read more

The store is always well maintained. Restrooms are clean. Lines move fast. Employees are always friendly and helpful. I just hate the parking lot, which has narrow parking spaces. But that's kinda out of Target's control. Highly recommend this location. read more

As a lover of all things Target, I was excited to go to this one for the first time. It was clean & had almost everything I was looking for, so there's your two stars. However, when I got to the checkout line thing went downhill. I picked a line behind two people who only had a few items each. It should have gone quickly. However, it took me 15 minutes for the lady to start ringing me up. At one point someone got behind me & muttered to her friend "oh not this lady, she's the worst" & left. I decided to stick it out. Bad choice. She didn't know the prices on several items & decided just to make the prices up. I hadn't looked because it was stuff I was going to pay for anyways so I have no idea if I was overcharged or not. Then I get to my car & realized that when she slammed about the milk I was buying at checkout, the cap had come up & half the gallon had leaked out. At this point I was too fed up to deal with that. The checkout lady ruined my target experience. I will forever be going to the super target right down the road. read more

Under staffed and no attention to detail. I waited for an attendant in the electronics dept for 10 mins. No one was around. So I went looking for an employee. Again no one around. I come back at wait and at the electronics check out and. A man walked up shortly after. When the attendant finally got there he immediately started helping the guy that came long after I did without checking to see who came first. I will gladly pay more at a store with good customer service. I will never come to this target again. read more

Manager on duty - Janice - is extremely rude. I came in and purchased an item that was on promotion. Sales associate rang it incorrectly and I caught it right when he did but he would not re-ring. Sent me across the store to customer service. When I asked to speak to a manager -Janice rudely said she was the manager. When I explained the situation she never acknowledged my concern. Got on her walkie talkie and told associate to remove the sign. Slapped down $10 in front of me and turned away. I approached her completely professionally and she was rude. I spend a lot of $ at Target over the course of the year. I am finished here - there are too many other places to shop in Dallas where the service is good. Now imagine that for another 10 or 20 customers. I see Janice has another bad review here as well. Target management - you should review what this employee is costing your company in sales revenue.
