Wow. Now I know why this place has horrible ratings. I've tried to ignore them, but my experience has only been good at a fitting room. Everything else has the worst customer service. The cashier that scanned my items not only left sensors on my items, but also charged me twice for an item, he assured me that even though my items did not have sensors I wouldn't have any trouble returning. Then when I make time to bring the receipt and items to correct, another cashier at the Returns line, right away accuses me of wearing the items, and says she will only give me store credit. Which I refuse to comply with, because she literally just glanced at it. I did not wear it, and I thought I could, hence why I'm returning it. And long story short, I'm having trouble returning items. If kids were not running the place, maybe there would be some order and level of respect. read more

7/6/21 (6:20pm) Normally, I try to avoid coming to this Target at all costs. The parking lot is covered with trash, the customer service is terrible, and the selection is a lot smaller compared to other Targets in the area. I tried giving it another chance today, and let me tell you it 100% is the LAST time I ever come to Target. I came in to grab some toothpaste and a snack. As I'm making my way through the store, and heading to the cashier, this Hispanic man with a shaved head is screaming EXPLETIVES, and dropping the N-WORD repeatedly. I could see the team leads in front of the store near the registers, and they did absolutely NOTHING. A man was literally threatening to kill everyone in Target and being a real pos. And they didn't even have security escort him out. I can't tell you how fast I just said, "Screw it. I'll get toothpaste somewhere else." and left. Don't shop here. I stood in line for self checkout, my turn came up , I scanned my items and payed, and grabbed a receipt, on the way out a rude lady stopped me and wanted to check my target bag, no problem I I said, she starts in front of everybody accusing me: you didn't pay for something in here!!?! This parking lot is always a s**t show. This is the only target I've been to that doesn't have ANY cart returns in their parking lot. Carts left everywhere in an already condensed parking lot. This is my local target but I often drive to a different location to avoid the craziness here. read more

This store is so ghetto. It NEVER has anything in stock, customer service BEFORE & DURING the pandemic is HORRIBLE and the cashiers are so SLOW! Your card machines don't work properly, either. The card machine tells you how much balance you have left and when I tell the cashier to apply that balance to my total, the machine doesn't take it. I get hit with the "call your cards customer service" No I think the better statement is call YOUR machines customer service. My card works just fine. I had to go to another store and it worked just fine. Did I mention folks have BAD attitudes, too. Its ppl WISHING they could work and have your spot and these cashiers have the WORST attitude! This is literally the messiest target I've ever been to. I came her today, drove 20 miles because an item I needed was out of stock everywhere near me and this one said in stock. So I get here and there's nothing. i wasted my time and gas for something that said in stock but wasn't. I also walked by the womens shoe aisle and it was a complete mess. Unfortunately this is the closest Target to my home. I get more & more disgusted & frustrated with this location every time I have to go. I've named it the "Dirty Diaper" Target!! Every time you walk in there, it STINKS like dirty diapers!! Carts are always sticky & full of trash, floors are dirty & even all their counters/ shelves are filthy. (Easy to see w the lack of inventory) Today I walked in for a quick blu-ray & again, was totally disappointed... This was their "new release" section. This location needs to be reported to head quarters They have paid their employees with cash and no paystub to prove what hours they worked including overtime. Significantly reduced full time employees (36 hrs or more weekly) to lees than 18 hrs(weekly) with out notice. Denied their claims and made them pay back what they(target) over paid their employees and they only have a month to do so. Also for those employees who quit or leave or get fired DONT get their final paycheck they get a VOUCHER and to be reddemed in store only plus make them pay back what targer over paid them or they will hold their "check". If I could review this place 0 stars I would.! where to start.... Parking is horrible at almost all times of the day, I am guessing because the parking is practically shared with so many other establishments around it. Also the drive up parking is taken also with people that clearly don't care that its a parking for just pick up orders through driving up orders. *And apparently the employees can't tell them anything because of being scared how that driver might react.( SAD!!!) I usually try to go in the early AM opening hrs, but the fact that they only have 2 cash registers open and yes the self check outs are open but doesn't this defy the purpose of going early to not catch that traffic of people ? why don't I use the self check out you might ask WELL because I am shopping most of the time with both my elderly mother and/or my infant child. I try to use the Drive up BUT again either the parking is taken OR the items that I wish to pick up by using the drive up ISNT ALLOWED which is why I am writing this review. Pico Rivera location allows me to pick up diapers, wipes etc...BUT for some odd reason this locations doesn't. Also recently I do notice that the employees are constantly stocking during all the hrs of the day How can we shop like this or even the employees do their job it's bad for them and us the shoppers. I would give it 5 stars but since they remodeled this store it's extremely hard to find things ! There is always plenty of parking. Even if there is traffic you'll find something. Carts are hard to obtain during peek hours after 5pm. Before that you'll be fine. I don't understand how they are so I understaffed here. It's a big busy store but there is never any retail associates asking if you need help. The associates are always busy chatting with each other or busy putting products back into its place. They should do the go backs when the store is not busy because they take up space with their carts and block any customers trying to pass through isles. Note to buyers please have more selection in the baby products there is enough clothes but not enough baby shoes,blankets,bottles, tubs etc. I never find enough of these items as before. I don't know what happened or why it's gotten this way but it's really hard to shop. Checkout lines do get extremely busy during peak hours. And even if it's peak hours they only have 4 or 5 lanes open! That's ridiculous, again they are understaffed because it's such a busy gigantic store they should be able to get this issue resolved. Still giving them 5 stars because they do have slot of great Beauty products, home products, apparel for the whole family. But they need to work on the sleep ware for women I was there on Monday and couldn't find any slippers!! And there was no sales associate anywhere that could help me. read more

I hope the store manager reads these... I just wanted to give a big shout out to one of the workers at the store. His name is Oscar and he was wonderful to us. He was stocking the fridge area and we asked if he had fudge ice cream bars. He checked the stock on his cart and then said he would come back. When he came back he had the fudge bars we wanted. I'm so happy to see there are some workers who will go out of their way and really check their stock. We had never been to this target and this made our target experience worth the drive. The worst target I have been too! I'd give zero stars if I could. On Friday I went to grab a couple of things and when it was time to check out my wallet was gone. Spoke to security to check cameras to only be told they seen nothing since apparently their cameras don't turn 360. So they can see me walking from one angle and then lose me. Ok so I called a day later to see if anyone turned it in and they dont even pick up the phones. You're gonna tell me that no one is at guest services for two days straight? The worst!!!! read more

I love the great home selection. Now this store look amazing, They have everything we need to gift. My recommendation is improve the executive line like before. I came to purchase enfamil for my son and they did not want to price match the 4 that I was buying and I showed them that target.com Had it for 2.00 cheaper Norbert and his manager Steph kept on insisting that they have it in there policy so here is a picture of there policy in here there is nothing stating that target.com and target are there own competitors and that they can't price match certain quantities to there own companies very disappointed with how this store and the employee Norbert and his manager that never came and talk to me acted after calling customer service and them saying that it is a valid sale and that they didn't know why this was happening in there own stores they decided to go ahead and do it as a one time courtesy I still don't know why it should be a one time courtesy if it's there own company they never showed me valid valid proof Norbert just kept on repeating it over and over as if it would change anything read more

Love the Target company but the one in Commerce is not loved. I went in your electronics department to purchase a telephone plan you provide. First of all the guy behind the counter had no idea what to do. He called a guy with the shirt that says TECH. My complaint is that you have a employee behind the counter that has no idea about certain things in there. That one should be important to know. Then when the TECH guy came he was so annoyed that he was barking at the clerk saying he was doing it wrong. Never will I go there to get that kind of service. read more

I love this target. There are about 10 workers always around the store willing to help and so there was this worker named Rosie and she was extremely helpful. It was going to be my nieces birthday so I went to find her something and get some other things I needed and I seen her and asked for help because the item I had, had no price. Right away she stopped doing what she was doing and helped me. Not only did she find me the price, she gave me an idea of what I was able to buy my niece. Please avoid this location. I would go 20 minutes out of my way to avoid this location. There are many other Target locations with a better shopping experience. The people at guest services took a long time even though I was the only person in line (during the week, afternoon). When I had a question about a product, I thought it was interesting that the person at guest services told me to shop online instead. The manager also didn't want to follow Target corporate policy. I come to this Target once or twice a week because it's close to me. I just really hate coming because of the security guard. He is always throwing me dirty looks, following me, and when I just finished paying at the register he decided to ask for my receipt. Ok no big deal here it is. I asked "since when does Target check receipts, and only mine?" People with no manners, they push and shove. Every single time i come here people speak to me in Spanish or some wild kid crosses me either crying or screaming. Yeah, I would much rather go to Alhambra than deal with the lack of parenting in this area. But the overall worst part is the lack of items. More than half the time they never have items you could easily find in any other Target. It's stuffy, and the floors are filthy. I always park far to avoid door dings, and I somehow still manage to step in someone's spilled/dumped overly sugary drink. Employees are (generally) SO unprofessional and come off as extremely lazy. Asking for help is like asking your older brother/sister to hand you the remote - when they're moody. Patrons are OBNOXIOUS. Out of control children who are allowed to run wild and make a mess. I've been here like 10 times and it's always the same experience. Seems everyone comes here in groups of 5 btw - super fun. You can walk through the aisles in snake-fashion much more quickly than you would walking down the main aisles. Needless to say, all of that in conjunction with the less than efficient cashiers means the lines make you want to leave everything and change your mind. Which I've done before, tonight included. Wow. This has got to be the worst Target I've ever been to in my life. And trust me, I've been to A LOT of Targets...lol... The parking lot is A MESS. SUPER cramped. People just don't give a fuck. They park horribly, drive horribly. The inside of this Target is a mess too. Everything is just so...unpleasant to look at. Usually Targets are really clean and neat inside. Everything is stocked and arranged nicely. However at this Target, everything on the shelves are super messy and not stocked. There's a LOT of random shelves with clearance items that are just thrown everywhere. The baskets are also old and dirty, not like the new ones that most Targets have.
