Now this store is by far the worst one. I'm updating my review after several incidents. Yesterday was the last straw. But first incident happened when I order some items and I picked them up and they were broken. I told them and they flat out said "oh were to busy to go look for the items that aren't damaged." Then they cancel my order without me having agreed to two orders canceled. I needed the items that moment so I just had to process my order at the cash register. Then yesterday I went in looking for an item and to buy groceries. Mind you if I need assistance I will talk to the team members. But recently team members have been treating people horribly. From disabled customers to elderly people. This is unacceptable. I have viewed how they will ignore customers and yesterday I was ignored when I tried to speak to a team member that was standing Infront of me. Like if I was invisible I repeatedly kept saying " Excuse me may you please help me" mind you he was the only team member around. I looked until I found another team member yet again rudely I was told "what do you want? ". This is unacceptable being a team member means dealing with customers not ignoring them. So yes I have to by force keep shopping here this doesn't discourage me from shopping at Target. I will contact corporate and file a complaint because these individuals keep doing the same thing. They are giving target an the few employees that actually do their job right a bad name. Sad to see that in a matter of few weeks the team members seem to get worst. Dirtiest target ever, completely disregarded restroom for customers. Just overall dirty and disgusting! Made the mistake of walking into this store today. I have visited many Target stores both in and out of state, I have to say this was very disappointing. The food court was extremely dirty, the cashier stated that everything was either burnt or out of stock. The store itself was disorganized and the lines were at least a 20 minute wait. I'm here right now. There's about 60 people trying to pay and get out of here. Only two registers open. There's about 4 employees around the registers just walking around. No manager insight. It's always a hassle to try and get to a cashier at this store. No self check outs are open. Came in for two things. Should've driven a bit more to the Pico Rivera one. This place is runned horribly. I usually walk in to a target for 1 or 2 things and end up with about 5 bags of unnecessary things and happily pay for them, but this target cheesus crust. read more

The staff here are bunch of lames! The pharmacy tech was especially rude and didn't want to even answer any questions. I would even get to finish my sentence before she interrupted me with what she thought was the answer and walked away before I could even let her know that wasn't what I was asking for. This Target has the worst of the worst, from selection, to variety, to staff, to the disgusting bathrooms. Selection: Every single time I stop by this store to make a quick purchase (usually for hair items) they are completely sold out. Without fail, they never have any of the items I am in need for and it isn't specifically because they are 'sold out', sometimes they take hours to drag their feet to the stockroom and replenish the shelves. Variety: As far as Target stores go, they all pretty much have the same items. But this store in particular seems to be a lot more limited on the different styles available at the store. For example, the Target by Silver Lake has 4 different colors of the same furniture on display. I go into Target by Pasadena on my way to work and I always find so many different cute items for the bedroom and bathroom. This Target however, always seem to be missing models that current Target stores have. Staff: For starters, the "store security" is the worst. They are basically young kids who do not do their job, they slack off, and they have the nastiest attitude towards customers. I have experienced on several occasions the lack of basic respect or surveillance they lack. The cashiers themselves are quite nice, I don't usually review them because I find that they have a high-pace job and as we all are human, can have bad days, bad customers, or just bad attitude, however they don't reflect the entire store. So I do not review the "staff" of cashiers, except in extreme (good or bad) moments. I can however, say, that the store manager (who's name has escaped my mind) is a great person. I had complained about the security punk that was unprofessional towards a customer and he was very apologetic, professional, and above all respectful; I highly appreciate him. Restrooms: This specific Target is located in East Los Angeles (nothing against the neighborhood or local) but it is a VERY high-traffic area. There are a lot of crowds everyday, and long lines, a lot of people are shopping at this store at any given time. The state of the restrooms are poor, unhygienic, and border on filthy. The only times I have made use of the restrooms are when I honestly cannot hold it to my home (all the way in Silver Lake). I understand that often high-volume locals and shops are going to be privy to filthy dirty people who do not care that they are dirty. However, for a store like Target this is not an excuse for them to not care and neglect to clean and tidy the restrooms often. It is a necessity that the restrooms be kept with maintenance several times a day. Overall: 2/5 stars and that's being generous. I try to avoid this Target at all costs, sometimes I just take a deep breath and purchase a much needed item and try to run in and run out. Neighborhood is dangerous, I don't recommend stopping here after dark. Parking is plentiful because this is located in a small "plaza" area, but the congestion is bad (but typical for all Targets). Avoid the "food" stand, it's disgusting and my sister has gotten sick from one of their microwaved pizzas. read more

This store isn't that bad, but majority of employees are really Spanish speaking so it could be difficult if you don't know Spanish. Although with the purchases I made about 2 of the main things didn't come with everything. I bought a scooter and the handle bars were missing so yea that was really weird. Then an iPod mini tablet case one of the straps was missing so yet another thing that threw me off. Store gets really packed and has to be one of the ghetto targets I've ever been to. read more

Worst In Store Pick Up procedures. For whatever reason, this Target sends you a notification letting you know that your items are ready for pick-up. You arrive at the Customer Service desk, provide your I.D. and are told to step to the side to wait for your items because they are "in the back". Apparently not the counter or area in front of them but instead somewhere in the back of the building. Given all this time, I decided to write a review and waited 15 minutes for my order. read more

I am a big Target fan and this location was just not up to my normal target standards. I went in for a video game and I went straight to the electronic section as usual, but I was stopped by so many unnecessary interruptions. First off, there were about two different spills in the middle of the walkway with no caution sign in sight. Then I try and let an employee know but they just ignored me and walked away as if they hadn't heard me. I get to the electronics register and have to wait 30 min for someone to help me. The way Target is operating the lines to pay is dumb, everyone paying gets in one line even self check out and when you get to the front of the line they tell you were to go, they have two people in the front of the line dictating shit, get one of those idiots with a radio at the end of the line to stabilize it, there excuse was, if we have two lines for register and self check out they merge into one anyway, if they didn't operate like retarded drunk frat boys maybe people wouldn't be getting mad at the line integrity. To Everyone Who Complains About This Target, Yes you are entitled to your own opinion. But do not blame the workers for what you see, or how messy the place is. I worked at this target until recently and everything that you guys mention is not because of the workers but the customers at this store. Everyone is so messy, but as employees we do try our best to make it look good. YOU as a customer should know to put things back where you get them. To be honest it was a frustrating part about working there. I would clean up one place and then some customer would come and then mess it all up. All of your complaints are just things that you honestly have no reason to be complaining about. I remember there were guests saying how packed it gets and its like waiting at Walmart and shopping at Walmart. They always open more registers for the guest and it is never as bad as Walmart. This rating might come across as strange in a sea of dissenters and compared to my regular standards for reviews, but what can I say? This is my favorite Target! I suppose I have accustomed myself to its defects as one would accustom oneself to an ugly face. I do come here almost every day for various reasons. It's smaller than the one in Pico Rivera, cheaper than the one at 7FIG in Downtown L.A. I'm a regular, so I already know where everything is. Whenever I need something quick, I know exactly where to go, and I'm out of there just as fast. It's also big enough to just walk around if I have the time to spare. Since I go there often, I already know the tricks to the lines, and I can spot the most empty ones from far away, like an eagle can spot its prey from miles away. The items that I usually buy are cheaper at Target than at Kmart next door, ans surprisingly, cheaper than Walmart in Pico Rivera-- things like toiletries and food items. I don't like Kmart because their lockdown on items makes it inconvenient to shop there. I love the Up & Up brand, just as good as the brand name. Just make sure you check the list of ingredients to check for accuracy. If the It depends on what you buy-- for some items, you're better off with the brand; others, Up&Up will do just as fine. YOU decide. Some of my FAVORITE things to buy from there are the 11-ounce bag of mixed raw nuts by Archer Farms, which is usually around 5 bucks; the gummy bears with gooey tummies (yes, it says that on the bag:P); a bag of red apples, if I haven't already gotten the same quality cheaper at the supermarket; cat food; shampoo/conditioner; coconut oil; cosmetics; etc. What I do NOT buy here are clothes-- the quality is cheap, but the price is higher than at cuter fashion shops; however, I get ALL my bathing suits here because I don't know anyone else who goes lower than $14.99 a piece, for cuter models than the ones at Target. I also won't get coffee here, since I can get 1.76 ounce jars of Nescafe at the 99 Cents store, and it only takes 5 of those to fill up the 10.5 ounce jar that they sell for 7 or $8.99 at Target.... so I'm saving about 3 bucks there, which does add up. I LOVE their $1 and $3 rack at the entrance. I almost never buy anything from there because it's usually stuff I won't need and will only end up collecting dust somewhere in the attic, but I LOVE looking at the changes of inventory every season. The employees don't have the perma-smile that the managers try to advertise, but I'm okay with that! They are human beings, not smiling robots. Managers in all retail stores need to chill with that. Growing up in East Los, I've been to this target plenty of times. It's not that bad! If you're one of those people who needs to find parking right in front of the store then you might struggle with parking. But if you don't mind walking there's plenty of parking available on each side. The store has everything any other target has and the lines are shorter than Walmart. Some people there might be ghetto, but that should be expected because of the neighborhoods surrounding it. Besides, ghetto can sometimes be good, entertaining, and teach you something. read more

Called in to see if they had a tree stand they said they did. Sent my friend in and she spent HALF an hour being sent from one end of the store to the other with that being the ONLY help she received trying to find said tree stand. Finally gave up and came back out to the car so I went in and had to be a bitch to receive the help we needed. After ANOTHER HALF AN HOUR they finally decided they didn't have one. Yeah it's kinda ghetto and in a shady location. But besides that, I still come here to buy some of my effects for good prices. I'd recommend going to the Pico Rivera location for electronics though, because this one almost always runs out of stuff. And if coming to this Target makes you feel like you're in TJ, then by all means leave and go to your local Target that has diamond-encrusted walkways and golden automatic doors. read more

Worst target to do your baby registry. Went to go register and the ipad they have there are super messy have food stains and idk what other kind of stains. Then they don't even have scanners the girl in costumer service said we can use our phones . When get to baby section omg everything was everywhere and nothing would scan so ANNOYING especially when your pregnant. Me and my husband just decide to leave. When we go to get our goodie bag the girl at costumer service asked us did you register yet I replied yes and she asked agon are you sure I need to see your register ID. I look for it and she says well we don't have no more bags. Like WTF do you have in the store. I swear worst target to go to. So unorganized and dirty. When I walk into this Target, I feel that I just walked into a Walmart in the hood, in the middle of the holidays on the first of the month.

I don't really come to this target but on this occasion it was a must. I was there on dec 13 so so really can't complain about the lines nor how packed it was. It was messy but oh well I guess it's because of the holidays. What I actually loved about this place was this one cashier working in the food section. After buying what I needed my son asked for a hot dog so while waiting in line there was a lady with her son and a baby in a stroller. The lady was signing to her son and the little boy would translate to the cashier (verbally) the cashier did such a great job listening and trying her best to communicate. She was polite, calm and very professional. I admire people like this one cashier. (Of course I didn't ask for her name, duh to me) read more

Do not go to Target pharmacy in commerce. They are very unprofessional. My husband dropped off a prescription @ 4:00 and they said it would be ready at 6:00. I got their to pick it up at 5:50 waited in line for 1/2 an hour so that the pharmacist can tell me it was not ready and that I had to wait 20 more min. At this tme it was 6:35. Love this store but had a bad experience with the worker that helps out in the food court. She was very rude and when I brought it to her attention she denied being in any way aggressive. I had a very positive experience here today. I don't go to target very often and when I do go I never really ask for help from the associates. I usually just pay with my phone & pay through self checkout to just avoid the long lines. However, today was a bit different because my Target app was acting up and my credit card was no longer linked to it for some odd reason. The associate Jonathan helped me out by explaining how to relink my card and even let me keep my place in line while I figured out what was wrong with my phone. I was kind of panicking because I thought my card was getting declined and that's super embarassing. However, Jonathan was really sweet and helpful and made sure my embarrassment didn't ruin my experience. I tried to email corporate to write this compliment but I couldn't find an email. Sorry but this location is horrible every time I go there is some kind of issue, they are almost always out of stock on sale items. Its dirty and packed always. Their customer service girl on this past Saturday night was horrible rude and unfamiliar with the stores policy towards price matching. This location is closest to me so I'm constantly here! Great customer service! I love roaming around the aisles and always end up buying more than I had originally planned lol! Always crowded, and never any cash registers open, the lines are always pretty horrible. If you're in a hurry, or only buying 1-2 items, don't expect the cashiers to be nice about it when they're closing, they'll turn you away. The cashier leads don't even take initiative and call in more registers when there are 10+ ppl in only 3registers open. This place kinda sucks, bad. read more
