Had to do a little shopping today at one of my favorite stores, Target. Always a pleasure to shop here for my home decor, clothing or grocery needs. They also have a great sale going on and that's always a plus in my book! It was a little crowded today but the buggy and I made it through, haha! I used to think on Sundays it would be quiet and not full, but boy was I wrong! Overall, I enjoyed my afternoon visit:) Customer service was fine and the store was organized, making it easy to shop. My friend and I stopped by this location to pick up some last minute gifts. Of course because it was the 23rd, a lot of stuff seemed to be picked through but my friend was looking more for stocking stuffers for her kids. We looked at many areas and I made a purchase for some cake pans and chips. The lines were long but because of the double registers, some folks were just sitting at the back register instead of moving up! Bad for them but good for us, lol! Target always has great products. I will come here more often. read more

This Target is great for things like clothing, household supplies, electronics, personal hygiene, etc. but it's not a great option for groceries. Their selection is pretty limited and a tad more expensive than comparable options. The store is always very clean and the staff is very nice however. read more

I catch myself coming here every time I visit my Son. Located in a shopping center also offering Cost Plus & Bed, Bath & Beyond, this Target stays busy. In addition to in-store shopping, this location offers Curbside pickup, Delivery, in-store pick up & same day delivery (depending on location/inventory). The accessibility effort is great with separate entrances & numerous parking spots. Restrooms are well kept with the over all store being in good condition. To my surprise, some of the essentials items were in stock due to the signage limiting quantities & the employees kindly reinforcing the protocols. I'll highlight the return process as its such a plus not having to present your bank card...it follows the form of payment on the receipt. To the store's associates, regardless of their department, they are very much uber friendly & helpful. Especially at Self Check out, they're such happy employees going out of their way to lend a helping hand to their customers. It was good to see all the employees wearing the necessary covering to safeguard the customers. read more

I LOVE Target! It's always my go to place for everything. I took my bonus daughter there to get some nail polish to do her nails. She got 2 colors by olive and June and they were $8.99 a piece. Nail polish is so expensive these days but I'll say that wasn't the most expensive and they were beautiful colors. It was a pastel pink and bluish purple pastel color. I also got a clear top coat that was $5.99 and polish remover. Our experience was great considering everything was in its own section in the beauty department. I also got her a Roblox gift card and they were in the gift card section which is massive with almost everything you can think of. We did self check out which I prefer and we were out within 5 minutes after we were done shopping. I know it may seem overrated at times, but it's a one stop shop for a lot of things you need and if you're a target member and have the app, there's so many discounts and coupons. I actually saved 5% when I checked my coupons! read more

Target has always brought joy to my life. My trip to this location was a pleasant one. I stopped it to grab two things but somehow I ended up leaving with more--like always. I liked the fan center in the front with Gamecock and Clemson merchandise. At other locations, these items are usually in the back of the store. The store was well organized and stocked. read more

Nothing can really be done except turning this store into a Super Target like in Minneapolis to improve the grocery side. I have been on the phone an hour with 2 Targets & 1 Walmart trying to get help with my husband's Comsumer Cellular Service with no luck!!! I even saw your i-800-commercial on TV. When I tried that I still got nowhere because you change our PIN number in January without notifying us. I could not get past "What is your PIN number?" Wrong PIN number?" 2 or 3 or 4 times. Cannot find a Target or Walmart that has help. My husband is having PROBLEMS with his Phone & needs a new one and needs someone in store who can set it up and Transfer his Contacts. I am so frustrated trying to get help! If we can't get help soon, we will be forced to cancel service and seek service with a more reliable phone company service. BTW We are senior citizens and don't need all these complications. The only reason I selected 1 star is because it won't let me select ZERO STARS. Thanks for nothing!!!!!! read more

Target is the magical place I go to unwind and shop. The placement of everything is familiar, the inclusiveness and forward thinking branding is so welcoming. This Columbia Target in particular is no different, but the clientele can sometimes be on the younger end - I get the feeling a lot of high school kids get dropped of here to just hang out and drink a Frappuccino - and clog the aisles with their little group hangouts. The people that shop here don't all wear a mask either and we are at the end of 2021.. just be polite and wear one. Target cant do anything about these last two things, it's just the reason behind the not perfect score. Pickup and drive up is always fast and friendly! read more

This Target does not meet or reach the standard of care that one would find at any ole' Target throughout the nation and the now defunct Canadian branches. How so? The Customer Service desk is one of the regular checking lanes. No worries - we will make do. Ask for help? Avoid DJ, two Front end Supervisors and anyone from behind the customer service desk. Why? DJ pointed us to the "office supply" section when asking about 1 itsy bitty school supply item (pocket index dividers). #2 - No one will offer to help you look for anything #3 - I referenced the chaotic School Supply section a number of times - people laughed, snarked, or agreed "Yeah, it's bad" and I'm including management when I referenced what people are saying. Decent location. Just don't expect any service. read more

This is my neighborhood target so I have seen it in its many different stages over the years. I just feel like it's steadily getting worse. I was in the ladies and all the soap holders were broken, paper towels, trash all over the floor and all the bathrooms gross. Looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. Stuff like that makes it hard to review this place. It's my go-to for any shopping I need and they always have a great selection of items. The Starbucks is a nice deal as well as I usually need coffee on a Sunday morning shopping trip. I like and need this target I just wish management cared more about the cleanliness in the store. read more

I am new to the area and have visited this Target the most. The parking is ample and it's in the a plaza that has other eateries and places. Even during the "holiday rush" the employees were pleasant and the store clean and free from debris. I've worked I retail, that alone is a whole job! Love this store! read more

I just love shopping at Target..... Much better than Walmart. It's always clean, and they actually have people that are willing to help you if necessary. All you have to do is ask. I think the quality of their items are better than Walmart too. I especially like how easy it is to return items. I've actually returned items where the tags were already in the trash and the receipt was ...who knows where. Lol. I've never had a problem at all. I do miss them having a special area to return items. Now the return area is also used as a check out register. I always seem to get behind a person with numerous items. I also like the fact that when there are lines at the registers they're good about opening new lanes. I can spend hours in that store. Always new and cool stuff to look at. Also the grocery section that has been expanded is helpful too. Anyway, I like this Target. I'd hate to know how much money I've spent there. I come to Target very often. Lived in this area of the Hamptons Hills for over 20 years. The employees especially the Starbucks located inside Target need training classes on how to treat certain demographics of people. All people deserve to be serviced with respect. Starbucks is definitely guilty of racial discrimination by some of their employees. Please hire better people! It's crazy how these young employees have no respect for customers or elders. The Starbucks and Target employee gossiped and mocked me taking pictures of the time and the surroundings of the Starbucks. The pictures proved he decided to wrap everything up and refused service before closing time. He refused to do his job 15 minutes before closing. He just walked around the corner and didn't return. I walked to him to ask what's the deal. He with nasty attitude decided to say they were closed for the night. One cake pop 15 minutes before closing wouldn't kill him to do his job. I was only trying to make my son happy. It shouldn't matter what I came there for as long as it was on the menu. Service me like you do everyone else. If Starbucks closes at 8pm, no employee should walk off from the work station 15 minutes prior to closing refusing service. Every business should take some tips from how Chick-fil-A runs their businesses. Remember treat everyone well and your business will prosper. People love coming back to businesses who know how to treat everyone with kindness and respect. read more

I was here yesterday for 2 hours shopping with my 3 year old for Xmas decor, presents and some food. Once I got to the register to pay "their machine" wouldn't take my check even though I've paid countless times with checks. One of the managers told me he would try another machine.. my daughter and I went to the bathroom and came back to find our stuff at a different register with a different person who was obviously a new seasonal employee. After trying again numerous times and 45 minutes later it didn't work. I was severely pissed because I spent so much time picking out gifts. This cashier barely spoke a word. She started taking things out of my cart and then went and snatched the 1$ toy my daughter had in her hand. I said no f'ng mam I'll but that I have a dollar. Still silence, I gave her the money wrote down her and the managers name and left. I called HR this morning and the person on the phone offered me a ten$ gift card via email in 2/3 biz days. All of those personal things that my daughter and I picked out I'm sure are sitting in a cart somewhere. Thats So nice of you after the thousands I've spent there and right before Xmas! read more

By far the worst excuse for a target i have ever been to. I have lived in Columbia 5 years and this location has gone further and further downhill. The store is a filthy disaster, constantly looking like a bomb went off regardless of the department. Employees are completely inept when it comes to customer service and professionalism, constantly having inappropriate conversations. Recently, after attempting to fight my way thru the clearance section that was completely covered with merchandise strewn across the floor like a preteens bedroom, i had to give up and walk away because i could no longer listen to the FIVE female employees gathered at the dressing room discussing their farts. I'd have to say that I enjoy going here. A very nice place to be able to zone out and just shop around for various things. The employees are very nice. At least in my experience they have been. Floors, walls, carpets, seemed to be in good shape. (Pertaining to cleanliness) I feel like I've only really seen the floors dirty at the end of the night. But I think that's to be expected. The only thing I'd have to say that's a "con" is the stocking. I've been in a few times and I've seen emptied shelves for things I wanted to look at and consider buying. read more

Normally, I would go somewhere local or even Walmart before Target -- but I have a gift card. So, Target lovers won't take this review seriously but they should. Maybe, it was just today... But the shelves were completely bare. I'm not sure if I came the day before shipments came in, but like I said I needed three things and I left with nothing. I ordered kids meals here, and they were out of chicken nuggets, apple sauce, and Icee. Every single item i ordered! I had to opt for a hot dog with gummies. While we were eating, i heard starbucks workers say their cappuccino machine broke. They had to give everyone a gift card who was waiting for their drink. Target was evidently not a good place to eat/drink that day. Also, they had the wrong light bulbs stocked on the shelf. They were priced at $2 on the shelf, but rung up like $8. Someone made a mistake stocking. Overall though, this place has been pretty good. One lady who works in the groceries is always helpful. I will definitely be back. read more

This store's parking lot is always busy. A testament to the popularity of Target around here. The store is relatively clean and prices are decent. However, to be honest, you can probably save money shopping elsewhere. Target has a good selection of items to chose from, and is on par with Walmart. The new team member that rang me up needs to be taught to take the bags off the racks after bagging the items, so the customer doesn't have to reach over the counter to get their bags. read more

I love Target so very much. This location is great. It always seems to be in great shape, everything is put together and the area is always enjoyable to shop in. Target is absolutely killing it with selling popular and trendy everything. Clothes, shoes, makeup, home decor, pet supplies, everything.. Everything is so cute and fun! It's so hard not to spend a ton of money when you go here for one thing. That's my biggest issue, is my lack of self control in the store. This location always has friendly staff and if the lines get long I always see what looks to be a manager, opening more lanes so customers don't have to wait very long. Target has reinvented itself from the 'K Mart No One Goes To" to a serious competitor for shopping dollars, even drawing bidness away from Wal-mart! However, I think the popularity among the college crowd is mostly hype and it's mainly because the prices here are higher than at other stores. The selection of stuff is OK for the size, but Target sells mostly its own brand of stuff and certain labels of clothing that I don't much care for. The other stuff they sell is usually a little higher in price than Wal-mart or K-Mart so I don't often go here unless it's to shop for clearance items, where the prices are REALLY good. I visit here once every couple of weeks, but I won't do daily shopping here. The staff is friendly and efficient and the store is always clean and well-lit, but the price difference is too big for me to ignore. read more

Pretty good service at this location. Open until 11pm Mon-Sat is a big help when you live down the street. This store usually has a good selection of clearence baby clothes. Very helpful Pharmacy as well and the standard Starbucks inside.This Target was also just remodeled at the beginning of 2013 and has added what Target calls "PFresh" which is an expanded grocery section. Line can get long during the day sometimes. Extra points for being in Woodhill Mall which is always clean and well lit with plenty of other retailers. read more

I found what I needed fairly quickly although I wish they had a larger selection of inspirational cards. The cashier and staff was courteous and I was checked out quickly. Really don't like this store. Clothing is poor quality. Waited 4 hours in line on black Friday for a tv. They never said you had to have received a c ticket. I even asked about it while waiting when an employee handed out useless coupons. Never got the tv. Went recently to get two sale items but was told they were "cartwheel" sales. That means you have to download target app to get coupns. I am not dancing through hoops to spend my hard earned money here. This past summer I went to buy a pair of sliders. When checking out the price rang up wrong. I informed the cashier and showed her the store ad and she got snotty and rude. If I could rate this store a zero I would. read more

I LOVE Target. This Target was very surprising.. In a bad way. The isles were messy with clothes and shoes scattered. Sizes were very unorganized and not out together in the women's clothing. It looked like they were understaffed. I went in the dressing room and there wasn't anyone to give me a number or check to see how many items I had. The clothes were piled very high in the entrance to the fitting rooms. When I got into the fitting room, there were tags and hangers all over. Not to mention Starbucks cups and wrappers. The store was not clean, neat, and organized like all of the other Target locations I've been to. I do have to say that I love their selection of outdoor decor,patio layout, and sporting section. Greetings! I was in Target the other day with my husband and it was raining and simply a mess outside. I went in Target for cleaning supplies and came upon the clearance section of the store that is near the fitting rooms, there was a gentleman working back there by the name of Braxton. Braxton was awesome! He was able to assist me with buying outfits for my grandson for school as well as for my husband and myself. Not only did he assist with that, he also assisted me with new products and the Cartwheel app I've never heard of. Braxton also helped with us getting the Target debit card to help us with more savings. I have always shopped at the other Targets in the city and this one was just a stop on the way going home and now it's my favorite and my go to thanks to Braxton. He was very passionate and his performance level and the way he handle the fitting room, the phone calls and myself and others reveals that he loves what he does and he does it with no hesitation. read more

Staff was super helpful today. Young lady at the dressing room with the blue hair made trying on clothes easy and convenient. A young lady near the check out with the velvety shirt noticed I was in search of something, and not only assisted me but found it before I could. Everyone was busy, attentive and super friendly. Only a 4 star rating due to the wool they try to pull over your eyes with sales. An item 20-30 cents cheaper doesn't honestly make it a sale! (Geez) Anywho, I have been an avid consumer of Target brand since 2006. I have also had a Target credit card since that time and not once have I received a credit line increase. I have been giving severral stories as to why, all are BS! Tho I am upset with this horse pokey, I still continue to patronize this place. I enjoy their many organic brands. And they tend to be leaning towards a health and healthier eating, which I commend. I enjoy the selection from make-up to personal care to food selection. Clothing section could use a revamping the Merona line to me hasnt reached affordable quality yet! Overall, I am pleased. Purchased a beautiful dark mocha tv stand for $120 and it was definitely worth the coin. But a longterm shopper like myself should be showed way more appreciation with $10 off coupons, 1/2 coupons to Starbucks, and the occasional 20% off vouchers of you spend $150 or more.. For all the times our credit card info has been hacked Target needs to be kissing the ground we walk on for not boycotting theit stores into bankruptcy.....its time the consumers get alil perks and not just these banks and large money making businesses!!!!! read more
