Rude customer service. Girl/woman answering phone call laughed and disrespectful told me I can go in to shop still after asking for a specific item in stock. Also in an instore experience was told a item was not available and 10 min later, seen other customer walking out with that specific items or item. Ok so this might as well be my second home. I feel like I'm here daily if not at least once a week. I primarily use Drive-up. Love the target app/ target circle everything is conveniently just a click away. I also love the convenience of being able to return items through drive up. With two little their moods can be unpredictable and it's nice to have everything ready and brought out to you without have to unload everyone and have them screaming and crying down every aisle. I really enjoy the drive-up services the staff is always nice here and they always wish you a good day. In stores when I don't use the self checkout the cashiers I've encountered are quite nice too. The only thing is most times they run out of the items I use the most/ buy so then the next closet location I would go to is NW Clovis. read more

This target itself is not the issue, the issue is the leadership team. Every time I come to this target I hear someone getting yelled at on the walkie talkie for not finishing on time. And when I talked to the employee she stated that all employees are given a certain time they have to finish and if they don't, they get 3 verbal warnings , then it's 3 documented and then they terminate you . She also told me that the times they are given do not even make any sense. This is my home target and I had a bad experience before with items there are markdown but when you get to the register their full price so nowadays, if I see something on special, I take a picture so I won't have to run to the store to show them where they were how much it is the manager, Andrew, went to check on the price told me that the price was wrong and it was not wrong because the lady told me she just discounted those ! And he told me that he only can give me one for the price when he was looking at the price. He was reading the item number and he still didn't grant the price for it. Hands down the world's worst Target. The best thing that could be done to this place is to light a match to it, rebuild, and hire new management. Every time I go in there I leave mad because all the clutter and the dirty floors. The clothes are A MESS, the shoes are very unorganized, the toys are a scattered. I am only writing this review because there is a pattern of bad employees at this specific target. I have witnessed a target manager (older lady with glasses) telling a younger target worker (a mexican/latina girl) how bad of a job she did and completely demeaning her. If someone talked to me like that I would cry. There is a difference between being stern and being straight up rude and disrespectful. I have also heard on multiple occasions employees getting scolded on their walkie talkies. They should be more considerate, especially because the walkie talkies are extremely loud. it is disruptive to the shopping experience to hear them yelling at their employees all the time. The managers here are very rude, and I have even heard the same from my friends who come here too. No wonder all of the employees act miserable all of the time. The morale of this place is horrible. It seems like they do not treat their employees as human. it seems that employees are often too worried about being timed on their tasks, so when you ask for help you wont get it. The employees never know anything about the store anyways, because every time I ask they say they are new. I'm starting to go to Target less and less now... I use to go to Target at least once a week. When shelves are not stocked and employees are rude, it makes me want to just do all my shopping online. Target use to be my favorite place to go buy things I need and definitely getting things I do not need. The last few times I bought organic milk, they spoiled within 2-3 days and expiration date was 2 weeks out. Is it the delivery trucks that are delivering bad milk or are the employees not keeping the milk cold at all times?? We bought boxed Mac n cheese for my niece because she a picky eater and we found weevils in them!!!! Ever since the milk and the mac n cheese, we do not buy any type of food here. I have to say that they usually carry a specific deodorant or hair care product that need if I'm in a hurry though. But other than that I'm trying to find other places to shop at. read more

I LOVE Target, let's just get that over with. The only reason this Target received a 4/5 stars is because their Dollar Spot doesn't always have the items I'm looking for that I see people in other states purchasing in the Dollar Spot in their store. The Bathrooms and Starbucks are at the front of the store so you can get the important things taken care of before you begin your shopping adventure. If you didn't already know this, Target provided hand sanitizer and wipes for shopping carts pre-covid. I like that! Now that covid is here, they have a little kiosk as you enter the store with Hand Sanitizer for you as well a paper mask if you need one. Target has a great makeup area with lots of brands I wear, namely Loreal and Milani. Now that Toys R Us is closed Target has stepped up their toy offering which, as a grandparent, I am happy about. The book section offers both Bestsellers and Children's Book. Did I mention I LOVE Target?! read more

I stopped in around 8:15am, just after opening. Needed to find a dress for an event tomorrow. Pulled about 15 items and was lugging them around and went to go try them on because I had no idea what my size would be with these designers. BUT the dressing rooms are CLOSED until 10am! What??! It is reasonable to expect dressing rooms to be available during store hours. I spoke with a few employees who were courteous and apologetic. You can tell it's not their decision. I even went to the customer service area to ask if they would hold them for me until 10 but she didn't have a way to do that. I didn't want to buy them all and then return a bunch or possibly all of them. So I gave all the clothes back and will be shopping somewhere else. It's a shame. I probably would have bought several items once I could figure out the appropriate size. read more

While I know the holidays affected things like toys, inventory was really low and there were numerous employees and carts blocking areas. The dude and I come to Target pretty often and I prefer Target than Walmart any day! I've been coming to this location since I moved to Clovis in September 2019 and I always forget to take pictures but I usually come in to get board games, coloring materials for my nieces, snacks, ice cream and clothes or sales they got going on. We came in August 2020 and they had some pretty good sales on dishes - plates, cups, and bowls all colors for 79 cents which is a steal! I also got education materials for my nieces and game buzzer for dirt cheap! Also Upon entering Target has installed a booth with an employee sitting behind it with a box of masks if someone comes in with no mask they will give you one. Which my dude and I had our masks on. This location is very clean and all staff is wearing face mask. I love Target and I will continue to shop here! Make sure you sign up for their rewards or Target debt card so you can get 5% off your total which definitely save you a few dollars! read more

Clovis/Shaw Target seems to have the cheapest clearance items and the shortest lines to pay. This Target seems more stocked and organized as well and the crowds aren't too bad. (Maybe I'm just going at the right time) Online orders are a breeze to pickup and returns are simple as well. Cartwheel saves me money, in store sales save me money and saving money is what I love to do. This one is a bit smaller than the rest, but the quality makes up for it. There's a Starbucks inside which I have reviewed separately. I do wish this had the café as well because sometimes I want an icee or some popcorn. But as with life and all things, you can't always get what you want! :/ read more

Came from 30 minutes away to purchase a dress to wear at my child's graduation so naturally wanted to use the fitting room. All were closed and when I found someone near the area that worked at Target and asked if I could use the fitting room she rudely said no. I asked why and she then said the supervisor already closed them. So I asked if they could possibly call the supervisor to let me use a fitting room and she rolled her eyes and called the supervisor on the walkie talkie asking her supervisor "are the fitting rooms closed" and the supervisor said yes. So she hung up!! Seriously????!!! Last week they were closed at 3:00 pm on Thursday so it's not a time issue or maintenance issue. Based on how RUDE she was it's a lazy staff issue! Which is ridiculous when this girl and another were just gossiping in the children's clothing area! Target you need nicer employees and you need to allow your guests the fitting rooms! This place has gone down hill terribly fast. It's difficult to shop with all the stuff on the floor. Multiple areas of the store had so much debris that you couldn't push a cart through without running it over. It also appeared as if workers were stocking items on the floor because it was too much of a coincidence that I saw many packages lined up on the floor- and no, they didn't stop mid stocking as there were no stocking carts around. Disappointing and frustrating- not to mention the empty shelves. I went to the Target in Clovis and was very disappointed in their Management. After searching aimlessly for a funnel to complete the work on my car, I found one in the Automotive dept. I was waiting in line for what seemed like a eternity only to be told by the Management they could NOT sell me that because its part of a set and they did not have the rest of the set. I told them I just need that one and I would pay the price of the set. They said no I can't have it at ALL!! Thats the last time I will ever go to that store, thats ridiculous. This was always my go-to store when I lived in Clovis. I was nearby, so I stopped in to pick up a few items. Nice, clean store. Good selection in the grocery area. I like that all the Targets are set up with "easy to find what you want" layouts. I wasn't able to find a boys bike when I was there, but that seems to be the case with ANY store these crazy days. Great service in returns by Tiffany. She was taking regular purchases as many of the other lanes were closed and self service was unavailable. When taking a customer that was returning items they had purchased through DoorDash she was kindly explaining the customer needed some proof of purchase ie proof of sale, a card, something to that effect, the customer had to run to their car. I was next in line and had somewhere to be so obviously if we were both sitting there she was going to ring me up (quickly of course). Upon the customers return, she was livid Tiffany would have helped the next person in line and gave her a disgusting look as well as immediately pulled out her phone to repeat her name loudly and write negative review . Customer service is a hard job, anyone that's ever worked it knows that. Anyway, Tiffany kept her composure and was polite the entire transaction. What has happened to the Clovis, CA Target on Shaw Avenue? There is always trash over spilling out of the trash can as you enter the building. There is trash on the sidewalk and the sidewalk looks atrocious. What are all of the dark splotches that cover the sidewalk? Old gum? Who knows but there must be a way to clean the sidewalk up. It is not inviting to enter into a store when the entry way seems so dirty and unhygienic. There are issues inside the store as well. Take a walk down the nail polish aisle. Since when have customers been allowed to paint nail polish on the shelves with the F word and initials of the culprits that are defacing the property? Not cool. In fact, the entire cosmetic section is a hot mess with product being out of place and product being opened and tried on. Ugh. Who wants to buy that? I used to like this store but no more. I will take the drive to another Target if indeed I need to shop at Target. One more thing. I thought it was illegal for skateboarders to use the sidewalk in front of a business. The reason for 1 star is I tried to call a manager to let them know that Morgan did a great job (at walmart you can do this on your phone) and I was transferred 4 times, 3 times I was disconnected and once it just rang and rang. Terrible selection! This isn't a Super Target so there is zero grocery section and this store looks like a hurricane went through it. I couldn't believe how busy it was on a Saturday night. I'm not sure what people were buying but it was the first time I've gotten out of a Target without buying a single thing. The store was messy, inventory was low, and in general it just looked like it could use some sprucing up. There is a Starbucks at the entrance but even that section of the store looked messy and didn't make me want to order a beverage to sip on while in the store. read more

Cashier Aaron was rude, I grabbed an item and it said it was $4 but it rang up $6. He gave attitude over $2 saying it was misplaced and wouldn't ask someone to go check. We were going back and forth and I just got fed up and paid for my item and left as I didn't feel like arguing. Yes I know it is only $2 but someone needs to keep up with the tags so it can say the right price, then this wouldn't happen. If you see Aaron as a cashier, I would recommend not going to his lane. I just bought a Spotify card $10 last night, at 8:58pm. I scan the card in self service. A guy named Andrew help me. As I put in the code, it's said there something wrong, and wouldn't activate. I try putting the code on the receipt, still didn't work. I try talking to customer service, but nothing happened. Target inspector here. No, not really. Target is always a good place to stop for supplies like snacks and drinks. The snack bar has awesome pretzels--this comes from someone who got pretzels in Philadelphia quite often. This one was well-organized and the restrooms were clean. The employees seemed okay but there were long lines. This Target was connected to a mall, which was interesting. I'm seeing more of these across the country, mostly as mid-level stores are acquired by Macy's. read more
