This Target in Chino Hills by Pennsylvania Ave Only: Manager Miki is more concern about me stepping on the carpet with a cleaning solution so she pushed me even though I was carrying my 9 month old baby..hey I'm 5'2 & a lot smaller than her! Be careful there, people! I don't care what I stepped on..safety first...always especially with a baby. Its a wet carpet so the chances of me slipping is very low. but the chances of me falling because of this so called manager was pushing me was higher. To make it worse, no apology whatsoever. So when I went to the cashier I asked for a manager. Someone came to me, I think a supervisor and told me that Miki is the manager at the moment! Well what do you know. The lady who talked to me was quick to offer a $3 apology & a number to the store manager. Told her that I am more interested getting the phone number for Miki's superior. I wanted to make a review to acknowledge an employee named joanna! I was looking for these cute snowflake marshmallows they had and only found one bag. She helped me look but couldnt find anymore as the holiday section was a mess. I was happy i found one bag but she didnt give up! She was able to find 2 more bags and actually followed me to the checkout to give them to me! She is amazing and clearly loves her job and loves helping people! The store is a huge mess, clothes all over the floor you can't help but run over with your cart because it's literally all over the apparel section's floor. The lines are also super long and only 5 cashier's are open. Target is usually my happy place but this Target feels more like a Walmart. read more

Boycotting the self check out machines because they had long lines that did not move. There was only one person at one check out working and at least 5 self check outs that were not moving. Also watch out for their clearance items because they are not really marked down. read more

I absolutely love target! I have only ever had one problem with couponing at this location and it was over a year ago now. I have noticed the last few weeks long lines which I normally don't see (when I go) not sure if it's because they need more employees or just don't have enough working. Either way employees are nice about letting me use coupons and doing different transactions. I have never used more coupons then allowed (4 like coupons) so I'm sure that avoids problems. I've been a devoted and loyal Target shopper at this location for about 15 years. I have never had a bad experience and in fact I highly disagree with any review that says this store is disorganized! I never go to any Walmart for that reason and the horrific check out lines. I have come to this Target the past few Black Fridays and I have been very impressed with their crowd control, organization, and cleanliness. I am at this store about once or twice a week and everything is neat, stocked, and things aren't a mess, opened, or sampled like the cosmetic section at Walmart, where you find open makeup for sale and people trying out the nail polishes. Gross! What kind of management is that? Not to mention security?!? This is an older store and it's not as fancy as others may be. But it's clean and well organized and they just opened a Starbucks so I get the best of both worlds in one place. only complaint I would have is I miss the outside garden dept. They closed it when they made the grocery section. There is a small garden section in the rear of the store, but no live plants or trees, miss that at holiday time. Seems like a lot of wasted space to not have something out there! But it doesn't stop me I just go to Home Depot for those items. I love cartwheel, and I just linked my debit card to their target redcard program. So I save an extra 5% off every purchase I make using my debit card, on top of coupon and cartwheel savings! I save so much money on cartwheel I love it! Plus it gets me free shipping on target.com. I will never shop Walmart, I am a Target fan forever! read more

WORST. TARGET. EVER. It kills me to give a Target a bad review 'cause I adore Target......well, except for this one. I only go to this location if it's a last resort. My sister lives down the street from this Target, and we'd rather drive down to the Target at the Chino Spectrum simply because it's got the updated layout compared to the 1990's layout that this particular Target is stuck in. It's super confusing and I always forget to buy what I need because of how horrible the floorplan is at this Target. The flow just sucks. It also seems like they never restock their shelves or have someone walk up and down the aisles to organize things. It's always messy. The parking lot is also a disaster. I don't think they ever send anyone out to collect carts 'cause you'll find carts blocking parking spots and in the middle of the road. You'll be lucky if you walk into the store and find a cart when you enter. Only reason why I gave this place 2 stars is because their staff is nice. No. I called to find out about their cell phone plans. I was transferred and it just rang for 5 minutes. I called back and asked for the store manager and was put on hold for nearly another five minutes. Then she told me she was the manager of the store, but had no control over their mobile department. No one knows when they are in or out. No voicemail, no phone transfer and no management accountability. The manger sounded helpless and that she could truly care less about customers. I waited about 10 minutes and then sought out an employee and asked for help since the product was locked. Another 20 minutes went by and no one showed up. Of all the Targets I've shopped in, this one is the dirtiest, especially the carpet and flooring! It never fails if I go at night, I am approached in the parking lot and it's quite scary. People are just waiting and watching for people they can approach. Security is no where to be seen. For your own safety, shop online. read more

I have been going to this target for a couple of years now, I live in Chino Hills. The reason I chose this location over other local Targets is because the manager Kristin has always been a pleasure to speak with when I shop there. She makes a difference compared to other locations. Exceptional customer service, she always remembers me by my name when I come in and greets me with her beautiful smile. Never have more than 4 boxes of formula in stock, rarely have size 2 baby dry pampers in stock and all of their pamper wipes for big boxes are all sensitive and no other selection!!!!! The store always looks a mess and shelves look empty. Stay clear from this Target!!!!!!!! Last night (Sunday) at around 8:00pm I went to this target to purchase an item that was on their weekly ad. I rang the item up at a scanner and it did not come up at the price that was listed on the ad. I took the item to guest service to inquire about the price. The guest service worker told me that the item could not be purchased for the price that was listed on the ad because that was a cyber Monday special.I showed her the ad and it said it started on Sunday. After I proved that the deal started on Sunday she became annoyed and said that the item can only be purchased at target.com for that price. I politely asked if they could price match it since its from their online store and she responded with an attitude and basically told me her store doesn't price match their own online company store. So finally I got frustrated and left after 15 mins of going back and forth. I have a few friends who work at other Targets and they even confirmed that target stores are suppose to price match THEIR OWN COMPANY ONLINE STORE. So I go to the other target on Grand and they did the price match there with no problem. I guess I know which Target I will be going to from now on. Managers of that store might want to look into those two female guest service workers because they are clearly not doing their job correctly. I wish I could give this store zero stars. read more

I can't believe how rude Nancy was! I shop at Target all the time and she is honestly the first rude employee who I came in contact with! As I approached her ( she was my cashier ) I said hi how are you! I also said I brought bags with me today. I got no response from her! She rang up my stuff and placed it on the counter. She didn't bag or even attempt to bag what I was buying! So after I paid, I bagged my stuff and apologized to the lady behind me because now I'm holding up her short line! When I got outside, the lady who was behind me in line said to me Boy she was rude. I can't believe she didn't pack your stuff! I said to her I thought so too. As I drove home, I called the store manager to see if I missed the memo on not bagging our things we buy at Target?! The store Manager was very nice and said that is not the policy! I've worked with the public over 33 years and I know customer service is #1 to a great business. I will never go to Nancy's line again! 1. FILTHY carts, no exaggeration. I hate putting my 2 year old in them. Half the time they are difficult to steer. 2. Not stocked, not organized, often no price on shelves. It's really frustrating looking for toddler size shoes at this location. 3. If you use Cartwheel, this location will drive you nuts because a lot of the time they either don't have it in stock or carry it at all. 4. Parking sucks. 5. I had purchased an item from electronics(Fitbit) without noticing the size of the band! It was the wrong size that I needed but they told me no worries, that I could exchange at another store for a different size with my receipt of course. I thanked her & went about my day. Called another location closer to my house (Sierra & slover)& the lady was so rude! Telling me I can't exchange it with them, only with the store that I purchased the item from.. so I called this location to tell them what happen. I spoke to Eric who was extremely helpful & told me I received false information & directed me to a location that can help me since they didn't carry the size I needed. I only shop at this Target because of the location. It is by far the messiest Target. Everytime I have been there, it looks like a tornado has been through the shoe department. I went there last Saturday around 11 AM and there were stacks of boxes everywhere! The stacks were even on shopping carts in the middle of aisles making it completely unsafe for anyone to walk by. This Target needs a major remodel. I gave the two stars for the customer service. The team members at the cashiers are always nice and polite. read more

PHARMACY -- I give 5 stars!!! The pharmacy here is amazing. I used to go to another pharmacy and had nothing but trouble. This pharmacy has always filled my prescription on time and correctly. The pharmacists are very knowledgeable and ask about how you are doing and how your meds are effecting you. They caught when my doctor wrote a prescription for something that interacted with something else I took. The staff at the pharmacy are amazing and know you by name. I love this pharmacy and I recommend it to anyone looking for a great place that really cares about you. STORE - I give 2 stars. The clothing section leaves a lot to be desired. They have about 1/2 the clothes most other stores have. The store seems dirty and could use an update. When they recently added food, it seems they quit carrying a lot. I would go to a different Target store, if they weren't so far away. read more

I've never had any problems here that stand out, and the associates that I normally see are very nice and helpful. There's also a new Starbucks inside (my experience was not up to par with this Starbucks because they took a while with my order). I live down the street from here and that being said IT made it very convenient but this target has failed me numerous times and I'm tired of it. Every time I purchase something for my child I have to return it or do an exchange! The items are used and been opened and refilled with some thing else & you can tell by what's left on the rim or edges and the smell is different. when if something is returned it shouldn't be put back on the shelf regardless for you can tell if it's been used or not! I hate this Target store. When you first walk in, it smells like something is wrong with the plumbing-it smells like old urine has been soaked and dried in the carpet. The store is always dirty especially the shoe department; which is ALWAYS trashed-shoes, shoe accessories, one shoe here, one shoe there strewn about the aisles. The clothes in all the departments are always thrown around, disorganized, and usually half way off the hangers and scattered amongst the floor. The homegoods department is not any better along with the baby department, and stationary department. I would say the only decently organized and clean department is their food area, their pharmacy, where you get your toilet paper and paper towels area, their toiletries area, and their makeup area. Their customer service is horrible. Cashiers are snotty little teenagers with attitudes who gossip amongst themselves barely acknowledging the customers they ring up. I order online for pickup just so I don't have to deal with the store's staff and disorderly merchandise areas. I even get attitude from the staff that works the customer service for pick up for no reason. I was raised to treat everyone with respect and taught to treat others the way I want to be treated. But being 31 years old and having a teenage-early 20's something employee give me attitude and sass me because they can't find my order after I showed them my confirmation email for pick up is beyond absurd. If they are rude and disrespectful to me and I'm semi-close to their age range, I could only imagine how they treat customers who are elderly. Management is a joke here, and their check out lines are always long. The one positive I will say, is that I have had pleasant interactions with employees who are older than the teenage-early 20's something employees that act like being nice takes wages off their paychecks. We call this "The Dirty Target". The cafe is always filty and the store is very disorganized. Maybe some new management is in order.

So target is one of my fav places to shop but lately every single time I shop and I use the target app the scanning price doesn't match the product and sometimes the scanning price is correct but the item is labeled wrong so I take a pic of all the items and have to go to the return because it doesn't catch the error in the prices. This is for food only. I'm getting tired of this. So shoppers beware and pay attention to the prices labeled and what the cashier pulls up. read more

This is an old target. Its like going back in time when visiting. In general I like going to this target. I know where everything is and its pretty easy to get around. I don't go during busy times so thats most likely why. Anyways, while I like the store I do have some complaints about it. Minor things that are totally fixable quickly. More cashiers. Why are there not at least 3 cashiers minimum at all times? Every time I go its been there the past few months its always 1 person then they have to call a second yet the lines still get backed up and they won't call more people to the front. Targets are notorious for over hiring people for the merch departments. Maybe get rid of a few and they wont stand around gossiping with each other at the endcaps. Things are usually in stock except for the seasonal stuff which is expected. The store is kind of dimly lit which is good and bad. And to the morons who pull into the parking lot. Do you not see that the cars are parked in certain directions?! Do you not see the giant white arrows pointing which direction traffic is moving on the ground?! Are you so lazy and entitled that its okay for you to pull in in the wrong direction just to get a parking spot closer to the door?! Anyways, The employees that I've encountered were pleasant and helpful. Basic items were usually in stock and where they should be. Floors could use a good cleaning. And the Dollar Spot could be expanded. Overall Its a good target to stop into. read more

Target is my favorite store but this is the worst Target ever. I refuse to believe it's even a real Target. It reminds me of complaints people had of Canadian Target. Basics are always out of stock, so many of the shelves and lanes are disorganized and messy to the point where it's hard to see or walk through them, and the lines and wait here are so much worse than at other targets. I feel sorry for the cashiers because most of them always look exhausted. Perhaps the reason they are so slow. Even the lighting seems different.
