One of the bigger targets in the area. Not my usual target. Seems nice and well stocked, but what really bothered me was the attitude the man working at the electronics register had. He was super annoyed about price matching an item to not only the target website, but another target store. There was a significant discrepancy in price between the two stores. I imagine this is s result of them jacking up prices to cater to the wealthy visitors of westfield Topanga The only reason I drove the extra hour out to Topanga was for the one single item that was out of stock at my target. Great location, its basically at the mall! Went in for a quick snack on my lunch break, everything was so easy to find and organized. I did have a incident where I accidently bumped into a person and he was very angry to the point of trying to get physical even though I apologized. Luckily a security guard by the name of Antonio saw the whole thing and helped defuse the situation by clearing up the accident. So on top of easy convenient shopping they apparently have security guards as well which definitely makes it feel safe. Thanks alot Antonio! read more

I love Target stores. This one is two floors, which makes it harder to navigate. Unlike most target stores, this one is squeezed into a mall location, so you may end up schlepping your purchases across the entire mall to your car. Be aware of this as you start to shop. Customer Service desk is only on one floor which throws me off since I often find myself with a return to make. It's clean enough to suit, has plenty of cashiers (see - two floors worth!), escalators usually functioning, large food section. All satisfactory. read more

I am a working mom so my love for Target runs deep. I love all the stores are laid out the same so I can go into auto pilot when I am shopping. I love they have free WiFi so that my daughter can watch her tablet while I'm shopping with her. I love that the pharmacy, grocery and department store are all in 1; yes you pay for the convenience for the grocery but making multiple stops with a toddler is not always awesome depending on their disposition. This Target is also attached to the mall. So as long as you go during off hours (not the weekend) you can get all your stuff taken care of at once. read more

Let me start off by saying that I LOVE Target. I'm a loyal Target shopper, and I would never step foot in a Walmart. However, that being said, their Photo department is atrocious! I first went to the Fallbrook Target to drop off my pictures and found out they no longer had a photo section (I used to get my photos developed there years ago), but their location at Topanga had one. Okay, so I drive over to the Topanga Target to get my pictures developed. (I had to get pictures developed from a waterproof camera, btw.) I ordered double prints, on premium paper, and with CDs. This is what I got back: basic prints, no CDs, and just one set of photos. ARE YOU KIDDING ME. YOU COULDN'T EVEN GET ONE PART OF MY ORDER RIGHT??? The employee working there just shrugged and told me, "Sorry, he's just not that good." COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT is more like it. Then he has the audacity to ring me up, like it's not a big deal, even though I didn't get what I ordered. And he didn't even offer to reprint them or to redo my order. I am so upset I don't think I'm going to be shopping at Target for a long time. read more

This Target at Westfield is a two-story edition in a huge mall--neither makes for a better Target shopping experience. It's more of a hassle to park, and it's completely inaccessible during high volume shopping times. Being two stories, it means you're going up and down looking for stuff. We asked a Target employee where something was, and all she could do was guess. She couldn't be bothered (or didn't think to) ask another employee to help. Checkout is available at both levels, which is a good thing. I'll stick to the Target on Ventura Blvd. in Woodland Hills for the most part. read more

How can you go wrong with target! I like this one a lot because its open later than the one on fallbrook... This one is two stories and has lots more options. This one also has a Starbucks on the first floor. There is plenty of parking because it located in the mall and there is many different entrances. So far the customer service has been pretty good. For the size of this target though they could definitely use more cashiers to help the lines move faster. read more

So completely frustrated. I went here on a Sunday morning. They just recently put in four self service stands but still have 5 regular registers. The problem...nobody was manning the regular registers. I like the self service stands when I have one or two items. But to not have the option to go to a register, is very frustrating. So they are saving money on cashiers, but guess what, everything still costs the exact same amount. Plus, the self service area is very crowded, especially when you have a few carts in there. read more

As usual, this store hits the target square on when you need something! Loved how it was two stories tall and has a parking garage not far from the entrance. It was very organized throughout the store. They had tons of staffing (the most I have ever seen at any Target store). They don't use plastic bags, but recycled and they charge 10 cents per bag. So tip: bring your own. Their pricing is as every other Target store in the USA. I also loved how they had a Target cafe and Starbucks inside. Only thing that caused this store to get a three star is that the bathroom was utterly appalling. Trash was thrown across the whole floor, the toilets and sinks were spotted with unknown substance. In the corner, all on the floor and on the side of the wall going up to the ceiling, there was old, pink residue. Another lady was in the facility and looked at me and then the wall and finally commented on the filth. Needed major cleaning. read more

I like the way this target is set up. The store to me makes sense. Love that it is right in the mall, makes it easy. Always my complaint with this location is staff. Checking out is a nightmare bc there's only two staff members got 30 people. And heaven forbid you ask where an item is... they won't show you. .. they like to point and say " over there"... awesome. There is a beautiful carousel and a lot of children play next to it. It's an awesome thing,cause my wife can go shopping for hours at target and are busy playing and having fun in a play area. Target itself is clean and customer service is okay. Not enough staff. read more

The good I really like how big this store is. There are elevators and escalators that take ya to the second floor. And walking around looking at the merchandise is an enjoyable experience. I came to print pictures in guest services for my daughters first kindergarten project and I had connection issues printing until "Elioana" walked over to me with a very bright and bubbly attitude and very professional. She took complete control of my issue. Elioana went above and beyond to make sure that I walked out with a smile. They tend to keep you in your position and pay grade, while adding ore responsibility. They are notorious for this. Anyone that knows me worth a crap knows I have a burgeoning obsession with home decor. Given that it's taking me for-e-ver to save up enough to get out with any security or back up, I have managed to accumulate many goods. My friends all laugh at me because I am going to move into an apartment and still have too much stuff to fit it all in. But, I digress. This Target is pretty nifty-for a Target of course. They usually have items in stock, it's kept well cleaned and organized, and the people who work here are actually really friendly and helpful-like holding my stuff for me the time I had forgotten to put my wallet back in my purse and not making me feel like a total ass for it. But what really made me happy, in that 'it's the small things that count' sort of way was that last night a couple of buddies and I somehow ended up here, and I discovered the new DwellStudio line was out. Yippeee! This is probably the best Target I have ever been to! It's huge and spacious (no tight aisles), has a great selection, and is attached to the fun and giant Topanga Plaza mall. I was shocked to see all the items I've been missing out on at my local ghetto Target in Culver City (sorry, but that's the best way to describe it). No empty shelves, lots of new items, plenty of markdowns, clean, and friendly. I think the shopping cart escalator is neat too! I mostly went in for the Pharmacy today, and that department is large, with more than just 3 employees working in it! So if you happen to be in the area and need some essential or not-so-essential items, stop by! read more

This one is 2 stories with escalator and elevator access. The upper level has groceries and frozen foods! Great place to shop for lunch if you work at the mall! read more

This Target kinda suuuucks. I only come here when I'm in the mall & have to get something real quick, however today my daughter wanted to try something on and as it turns out I needed someone to open the dressing room door, but there was no one in sight. The store was empty of customers AND employees. It took FOREVER to find someone to come over and open the darn door so that my kid could try something on. Very frustrating. I also asked 2 other young kids (cashiers) if the store had something else that I wanted but they were too lazy to check to see if it was in stock. Seriously Target?! Why would I pay $25 for a cheap picture frame or $20 for a small rug mat made of man-made materials - Rude unhelpful staff: No one wants to help you. Why would they? They're probably underpaid and dealing with a bunch of BS. I think ordering online from Amazon or eBay is way more cost efficient and makes for a better experience. read more
