I came in looking for a particular item that I could not find on the shelves, and a friendly employee named Eron came to assist me. He went above and beyond to try and find the product. Though it was ultimately determined to be out of stock, I greatly appreciate the effort and time he put into searching for it for me. Was not pleased with what I saw today. Young kid pushing cleaning cart coming out of the women restroom. He cleaned the restroom floor with broom and tray then continued putting them next yo where the big rolls of toilet paper stacked, not only touching the toilet paper, the toilet paper themselves are visibly dirty covered with debris from the dirty cleaning cart and the broom he used on the restroom floor. These big rolls toilet paper are going on the wall for women and men to use on their private parts! I had to speak to the manager about the sanitation of her restroom cleaning protocols, it truly concerns me although it's not my local target. I really hope the store manager takes it seriously and make a possible change for the future . It's more than marking an initial on the cleaning checklist. read more

Open food everywhere in the grocery section, I can see the teens doing this all the time. Why are they not banned yet? If I do this just once, you can best bet they will call the cops and ban me... but since it's some teens, they are exempt and allowed to terrorize all other shoppers with their throwing of food, footballs, toys, etc throughout the store.... I was trying to get to the soft drinks aisle, but couldn't since there was a mob of 20 teens playing football and throwing food. Then there's the guy blasting music and dancing at checkout. It's horrific. I will only step foot in here if it's an emergency and I need to buy something quick. read more

You can never go wrong visiting a Target store especially this one since it's connected to Westfield Topanga mall so you can do other stuff as well. My wife and I came here last night to look at baby strollers and car seat which they had some good selections on display. They had more floor displays here than other Target that we visited. The baby department is on the first floor, so just look at the directory so you know where to go. There are staff throughout the store ready to help, they didn't approach us while we were in the store but I went up to one to ask a couple of questions. There also an Ulta Beauty department as well. This Target has its own structure that you can park at if you want but I decided to park at the mall parking structure. There also a Starbucks and Pizza Hit inside here as well. read more

Had a fantastic experience yesterday after work. Didn't expect to find such awesome stock since everywhere in the valley has the absolute worst stock when it comes to being a collector. Lots of scalpers lately so it really sucks! We luckily found the Pokémon Jazwares Spring Figures during our visit and not in your usual pokemon toy section! We actually found it in the seasonal section which was really neat to see. Also had an error checking out at the self serve kiosk. Message popped up when I scanned the seasonal figures and rang up at $0.00 but wouldn't let me proceed till a worker had to fix it for me. Will definitely need to visit this location more often. This is a very busy Target since it's at the Topanga Mall- parking structure can be alot haha. I've done pick ups here as well as in store shopping, usually when other Targets don't have what I need. Came in an hour before closing to buy a couple items at 9:05 when they close at 10. They close down a lot of the sections beforehand and give the impression that they want to get you out as soon as possible. I understand coming late but they closed the self checkout and then give you attitude when you're at the checkout. Super unenjoyable experience, would not recommend. Worst customer service. The laundry soap pods were in lock. I pressed the button for an alert so staff can open the door. She comes by with not so friendly face and almost dragging herself to open the door. I said thank you and no response. I was talking to a family member about "who's gonna rob the soaps" and she goes "a lot" in her native language and im not even talking to her. Just resign if you dont like your job rather than ruining someone's day with your bad attitude! read more

There is not one Hanukkah decoration not one Hanukkah gift not one Hanukkah gift card in the entire store. There is however, a tiny section in the dollar area of some Hanukkah junk. I'm really frustrated with my experience at Target store #2143. Target advertised online that Pokémon Elite Trainer Boxes would be on sale starting November 21st, so I went in to grab one, but at checkout I was charged full price. When I brought it up to customer service, they flat-out refused to honor the sale. What really made me mad is that a friend told me later they got the discount at the same exact store! On top of that, an employee even confirmed the sale was honored for that friend when they were calling corporate. When I asked for the same, the manager, Seth, denied me. I do not find this fair at all. I eventually found thread and pictures online offering the promotion at a different target store. This is false advertising and feels like a total scam. Target didn't honor their own promotion, and the way they handled it was just plain wrong. I've always liked shopping at Target and have spent thousands at my local target, but this left a bad taste in my mouth. I'll think twice before coming back. I've been a Target shopper for decades. For a while now I've enjoyed using the order ahead with curbside pickup. I usually shop at a different Target. However, they were out of stock on some the goods I needed. Therefore, I placed an order at this Target store. I pulled in at 5:55 pm and checked in. It took about 15 minutes for an employee to come to my car and tell me that the products I ordered were largely unavailable. I told him that I don't understand, as I showed him the notification that my order was filled and ready for pick up. His response was, "I don't know what to tell you." He set two of the items in the back of my suv. I asked him to please use the Target bags I had at the back. He just walked away. I called the store to speak with a Manager, while I was on the phone the kid came back to my car with the rest of my partial order and set it in the back. Again, I asked to use the plastic Target bags I had in the back. His response, "We're not supposed to bag your stuff." No sense of customer service , no modicum of manners. Someone like that should not have any contact with the public. I asked the Manager that was still on the phone with me if that's acceptable. She apologized, brought out another item that I ordered that the kid didn't bring and a couple of Target guest cards. I called the store today and asked to speak with its General Manager. I was told that they are not authorized to give out their name and if I want to speak with them, I have to come back to the store today. I've never had someone tell me that I can't have the General Manager's name or "allow" me to speak with them over the phone. This is NOT how a top retailer in the country behaves. This is how amateurs behave. This was my first time shopping this location and the last time. By the time I left it was 6:35 pm, 35 minutes to pick up an order that takes other Target stores 5-10 minutes to achieve. The reason I wanted to speak with the General Manager is to make them aware of the complete breakdown in operations, communications and customer service. The kid (maybe 18 yo) was the lousiest representative for a retail store. Very disappointing experience at this location. Last Sunday Sep 29th at around 11:30am I stopped by for a quick drink and some dog training treats (I usually do dog socialization and training with my dog at this mall). I grabbed some Zekes salmon training treats and some prebiotic soda and headed to the self checkout. When I tried to scan the treats, it wouldn't let me, and the employee informed me that they couldn't sell it to me. I was confused and asked why but the gentleman was unsure, so he directed me to the customer service registers. I waited a bit (some employees made eye contact but could not be bothered to let me know they would be assisting me) and finally a taller woman asked me if I needed help. I told her the treats would not scan and that I was sent here. Without a word she grabbed the treats from me and scanned them, informing me that they were street dated and cannot be sold to the public. I told her that there was a whole section in the aisle with all those treat stocked. She just said sorry we can't sell it to you. So I asked her ok then, is it possible to grab an alternative and if an employee can get it from the pet aisle which was all the way across the store (normally I would go myself but this was not my fault that product was put out before release date). She looked extremely bothered and but radioed another employee. I asked her if she can get salmon treats like I had picked and she nodded. She then walked away and another younger woman took her place and helped the next customer in line. After about 10 minutes an employee walks up with 2 bags, and the younger woman who had taken the place of the taller woman throws the bags on the counter, and without even looking at me says "these are your options" and continues with other customers. No salmon options. Even though there were 2 other options when I had checked. I was frustrated but I decided not to make it that big of a deal and took one of the options. She hastily rang me up and never even glanced at me, while the original taller lady never even followed up ( I believe she was a supervisor). It struck me as odd that a top and loved retail chain hires and promotes people like this. Not my fault you're working on a Sunday morning and that stuff was put out before release date. If the manager reads this, this is probably how your staff is when you're not around. Just letting people know but by the looks of the reviews I think people are already aware. read more

This target is pretty much always busy and parking can be challenging. But they do have most of the things I need in stock any time I go. It can be a mixed bag with the staff - I'd have some that are extremely kind and helpful and others who are annoyed I'm talking to them. A guy at checkout named will or william was the rudest guy i have ever met! Beyond disrespectful. My son is 8 years old has hearing problems and is on the verge of being deaf, and will was asking my son if he wanted the recipt and he couldnt hear him. Will asked again and my son still couldn't hear him and yelled at my son at the checkout line. My son has never felt more embarrassed and cried himself to sleep. Right under one roof you get to shop various stuff....clothes, shoes, baby products, cosmetics, pharmacy, greeting cards, flower bouquets, grocery items, toys, wines & many more stuff. Great prices and customer service is nice! Helpful & courteous staff. Well organized and clean store. There's a covered parking lot where easily parking is available most of the times. All the cash registers were closed and replaced with a "self checkout" where the poor customer has to wrestle with scanning all their items (some big, some fragile, some heavy) and all the associated BS. And all the time there is a camera scanning, recording and showing your every move. Very invasive, horrible. Are they going to use that for facial recognition or what other nasty purpose? No thanks - I will only return under extreme conditions. Fun location in the westfield topanga mall with a lot of cool endcaps and touches, but this condense location really strenches to stock it's spaces with the right products. All the clothing departments especially men's and boys are insanely small and the self checkout area feels like a off in soace walk in closet. I stop in here mostly for grocery and produce, but occasionally go nuts and impulse by. Not the worst location at all, but definitely lacking with limited spaces. read more

Bag fees not being refunded when bags are being declined upon pick up.... So I spoke to Target Corporate tonight because I ALSO noticed my bag fees are not being refunded when declined. And guess what, I am also not being provided with a receipt when I pick up my items. The total charged on my Target App is the SAME as my bank charge from Target. No difference to my bank charge after I pick up my orders. But you would NEVER know this unless you screen shot or recorded before you placed your Target order. Target is sneaky. Take a look at your online orders tab- then the receipt. You don't see your full break down like you do on a paper receipt. Corporate told me, that I wasn't charged a bag fee "because they didn't see one on my online receipt" Ha! Well now I have my own proof that I am being the bag fee and it is not being refunded back to me. I did a quick Google search, and it looks like I am not the only one. TARGET! I want a refund on all my bag fees! I calculate at least $100+ with all the online orders placed for pick up and drive up. read more

This target is always very shopped. Meaning it's so busy it can't keep up with the replenishment. Maybe not enough staff to replenish shelves and as soon as they do shoppers take the product asap. Their items are always a hit and a miss, the selection is not always accurate. I'm sure their LP is high also since they do have products locked up, I don't blame the business. I love the self check out because I don't have to ask the cashier to bag my items in a preferred way (heavy stuff, cold stuff, light stuff) but this target has it closed again I'm sure because of high theft happening. Overall I come to this one out of convenience near by, I don't find all items at times but I manage. The quality and price that you pay for certain items speak for themselves. When in need the employees not all but most that I have encountered by them assisting me at the register are not friendly at all. They don't greet smile don't ask for your info just tell you a total and do you want bags... I no longer ask for help, I end up getting more upset because I answer my own questions. read more

This place has a much better energy about since Austin was able to overcome his divorce. I understand how difficult that could be and no doubt the amazing team at target helped him get through it. Heavens knows they helped me through many of my pets passings. I highly recommend this target to anyone, especially Julia K. (See other reviews). This target specifically has changed my life and become somewhat of a second home. Whether it's a price check from Eliseo or the loving way Miranda packs my groceries, I know that target is my home away from home. If I could give 9 stars, I would.
