I've never been a fan of Target because the prices always seem to be higher than many places. But when my target remodeled a couple of years ago, I had to be impressed with the cleanliness and layout of the store. Yesterday I was impressed all over again. The keyboard I'd bought for $10 last August on Amazon died suddenly two days ago. Not a very sturdy keyboard, but sure I'm guilty of contributing to its demise, as I'd often turn it over and bang it soundly on the desk to dislodge crumbs and lint and dust. Seems not a good idea. So to alleviate computer addiction withdrawal yesterday, I went out in the midst of a slight blizzard to see what Target might have in keyboards. I found one for ....$10. I not only took that home, but I ended up doing a little grocery shopping. I was surprised to find the things I bought were selling for the same prices --or less-- as the grocery store. When I got home and opened the keyboard box -- wow. Compared to the "Yugo" keyboard I had, this one was a Lexus. So I am impressed with Target now for the availability of quality merchandise at competitive prices. And still a clean and well designed store. read more

Horrendous. Found the SILVER (shiny) curtain rods I wanted packaged as BRUSHED NICKEL (not shiny). Asked for assistance and the front end manager insisted I was wrong, several times then finished with "that's how target does it." The ignorance was even more annoying than the mislabeling which amounted to a six dollar difference between products. Just another reason to avoid target. read more

Most Targets are pretty much the same, but for some reason this one seems a step behind the others. Staffing must be an issue because when you need someone, you can never find anyone. And when you attempt to request help at one of the price check machines, no one ever comes. I've waiting 15-20min without seeing someone, and just gave up. Better Targets around the area to go to instead. read more

This location frequently has Pokemon cards which is important to my husband so it's important to me. They also usually have clean bathrooms which is great. read more

We had 2 packages from Amazon that needed to be returned. We rarely use Amazon, and had no idea how to do the return. Cassie, the clerk at the returns counter, was very patient, friendly, helpful, sympathetic. Returns were accomplished quickly and easily as a result of her help. Kudos to her! read more

Did a drive up order, because I can't go into Target and stay within budget. The drive up process was easy and fast.

So. Covid has me here more than before. They benefit from the little stores being closed FOR SURE. But I come here for their brand of pedialite. Which is more enjoyed in this house than the "real" pedialite or other store brands. In this store they have moved its location a few times. But I always track it down. Target is also one of the few places that carry the Oui Dessert Cups. Those things are awesome. If you "can't stop at one", don't buy them. Otherwise it's worth the risk. I do have to point out that when I needed flashlights, they had them here. Same with a tire pressure measure thing. So it's proven useful beyond the pedialite, although that's what gets me here. I could swear I've reviewed Target, but I guess not... in not a big fan of the new and improved layout...I find it difficult to get past people, difficult to push a cart through and it makes me want to ruin it screaming because things are hard to find... Why four stars then? Well, the items for sale are cute and trendy, there's an ample supply Shays and you can find just about anything you need. The store is clean and while i don't love how it is arranged, it is very organized. The cashiers are friendly enough. The management at this Target needs to get their act together. Multiple times, I have come in during normal hours and busy times and there's 1 or no cashiers working. If you can't keep employees, you're the problem. Not them. The ones left are overworked and exhausted. Self-checkout isn't the answer. The Target on Delaware Ave. just got done being remodeled,so I'm having a hard time right now finding what I'm looking for. As soon as you walk in now, there is a very nice sized "Starbucks" to the right. I think due to the remodeling, which is not finished yet, they've raised the prices of a lot of things that I was going to buy. I ended up leaving without anything for my kitties, because the price of litter was crazy expensive & they had no canned kitten food. I wasn't too happy with it today. It's really taking them a VERY long time to finish remodeling & getting the store straightened & cleaned up. I think I'll stick to Walmart. I mean, it's a Target. That means most of the merchandise is cheap foreign imports with just enough vetting to mean that it probably won't come out of the box broken. But in the Age of Amazon, with thousands-large samples of user reviews, it's hard to see why one would buy most larger items from big-box discount stores anyway, so there's that. But Target's strength is mostly in versatility rather than quality, especially in the newer and larger stores with extensive grocery selections. I mean, are you going to get an oven-fresh boule of bread here? No, but there's enough stuff for an impromptu taco night, and the produce selection, if not expansive, will do in a pinch if you want to get it all done in one store rather than head over to Wegman's. There's even an okay cold beer selection with a handful of craft SKUs. You could do worse. The vegan/vegetarian selections in the cold case are, alas, still lagging badly behind the national (or even local) leaders in this category. It's usually not too insanely busy, so checkout and turnover is not bad. Service is about what you'd expect for an entry-wage staff: neither surprisingly good nor lacking. They used to carry our SodaStream refill cannisters at the service counter, but for reasons that are thoroughly baffling to me, the Pandemic has apparently ruled that out? This is all a long way of saying that it's a Target. If you want cheap goods with a predictable selection, you'll do fine here. If you're looking for higher-quality products or specialty items, well, it's a Target. That's not really their thing. Target is my jam! It has been a few years since Target closed all their stores in Canada. I like to come here every few months. I feel like their produce section could use some more variety. A lot of their products are precut and more costly as a result. There's always plenty of parking. There's a Starbucks inside. Plus it's super easy to pull up target deals on your phone. I've gotten a huge variety of stuff here, from body pillows to dog shampoo (smells so damn good). read more

Definitely the worst target I've been too and this is after their enormous remodel. First thing I stopped into the women's room and turned right back around as there was literal urine covering each and every stall toilet and floor. First time coming here, not sure if it's always this messy or because it is after Christmas and New Years but holy! The layout of this store confuses me, you walk in and to your right are the bathrooms, Starbucks, home, kitchen & living. The registers are front and center and then there's customer service. To your left after checkout is cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, then produce/grocery. Thrown in the middle is clothing, fitting rooms, toys, cleaning supplies, party essentials & there isn't much of a Media area. This store is newly renovated, and that shows. I think they have the design fit right, it's bright, has everything a Target should have, just the layout is odd & it looks like a Tornado went through the store. Maybe I'll wait and give this location another chance.. in a few months, when the holiday aftermath is back in order! read more

Ahhh, Target. No matter where you travel you can always feel at home in a Target. With their cute home decor, fun product aisles, and predictable snacks, what could go wrong? This one is a little hard to find because it's behind another building, so you can't see it from the road. Bathrooms were also perfectly nice. read more

It's a clean target and I find myself coming here every once in a while. Most recently, I was looking for shower curtains. Although they have a selection, they were all the same size (6' or 72") and I have a bit of a higher curtain, so an additional 6 or 12" is ideal. The only solution was to purchase more hooks and to double hang it with a hook. That worked well, but it'd be nice if they stalked a variety of sizes of curtains as well. I also purchased a trimmer here. They have a decent selection of trimmers...everything from a basic $20 trimmer to $100+. I got the cheap one and it seems to work well enough. There are self check out lines as well as food for sale as well. Clothes-wise, I've picked up essentials (boxers, socks, etc) and they weren't really priced competitively. All in all, it's an AOK department store. You know what to expect. read more

Stopped in quickly to grab a couple things and made a few quick observations. First of all this is a very neat and tidy Target and I was happy to see that the shelves were well kept and well stocked. Staff were friendly and everybody seemed attentive and working well together. They had good varieties of stuff available and their grocery section is really nice too with large sale signs all over so you can actually see things. I order from the Target app all the time; I like this location much better than the Niagara Falls location. It can take up to four hours for my order to be completed, but, on average, it takes two hours for my order to be completed. When I show up to pick up my order, they are usually in my car in less than five minutes. Speed of delivery is important to me because I have small children with very little patience with being idle. The customer service is great, they wear masks, and always ask where they can put your items. The only reason why I gave four stars was that the app shows items in stock when they are not in stock read more

I have had so many issues with checking out and with customer service at this location, that it got to the point that I just added the corporate Target Customer Service phone number into my phone as a contact because I had to call so many times. I have not been to any Target location at all since March, due to the pandemic. This morning I decided to run in just to check out the Halloween stuff, which was messy and picked over and pretty disappointing. Nevertheless I grabbed a few items. I stood on the designated red dot at the check out line. A man came up behind me and stood right next to me, and physically pushed my items out of the way to put his on the checkout belt. I told him he was not 6 feet away from me and he refused to move and started arguing with me. When I asked an employee who turned out to be a manager to please reinforce the rules, she shrugged and said "what do you want me to do." This is not the first time I've had an issue with a manager by far. Seems like they give everyone a managerial title at the store even though they are just walking around the store not doing anything and refuse to help customers who actually need assistance. read more

This is the kind of place where, when they're playing a song you like overhead, you find yourself wanting to dance. And of course, they have what you need: room to dance and a clean dance floor. You can dance in the main aisles, OR if you're shy, find an aisle where people can't see you. *************************************** Target DEFINITELY deserves four stars. It's nice having so much of what you need in one place. This will sound really silly but I usually come here for the cereal deals. You usually get a huge box of a certain cereal for what you would pay for a smaller one at Wegman's. The "Market Pantry" aka Target brand cereal isn't that great. Wegman's does a pretty good job at their cereal brand. Marshmallow Treasures, for example, I actually prefer to Lucky Charms. It's also a nice place to go for shampoo, deodorant, laundry detergent, and related cleaning supplies. They have such a large selection and even carry some off-the-beaten path brands. If you're looking for nice cards, I love Target! They are my FAVORITE place to go for cards. Wow, the only problem I could see you having is the selection is too large and too overwhelming (similar to the cereal aisle at Wegman's:) I used to get Papyrus cards here when I had more occasions for getting cards and they have a good selection. And since you NEED a good pen to write a nice card, they do have an awesome pen, marker, colored pencil selection - actually every writing utensil you could ever need. I haven't even delved into the other sections of the store. Produce, clothing, electronics, board games (great place for those), some minimal outdoor equipment. It SEEMS like, while they are a large store, they carry SUCH a variety of things they have to strike a healthy balance between variety and variety-within their variety. So you could be shopping for bedsheets, and while they have a good variety, you might not find exactly what you're looking for like you might at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. Other than that, when you're looking for something you usually have a FAINT suspicion you'll find something you like here. NICE! :) read more

The people trap! I swear this place sucks me in every time and I end up spending more time and money than intended, but there's just so much good stuff! The new remodel of the Delaware Target is beautiful, though I'm still getting used to the new layout. The dollar spot is my favorite, as I can always find great items for my students that are cheap! The cvs pharmacy is my second favorite, as the people are always super friendly and helpful. If I had a ton of money, I could do some damage in the home and clothing sections! I always love to go to target and know where everything is. I go to target usually 2-3 times a week and I'm very familiar with all of the targets in buffalo. The Delaware location is by far the worst location I've ever been to. I couldn't find anything i was looking for. The entire store is completely unorganized, and the lay out just doesn't make sense. All of the other targets that I've been to and believe me I have been to all, has the same lay out except Delaware, everything is thrown all over the place. Let's just say it, Target has everything you need and even if you walked in not needing it you'll find yourself walking out of the store with it. Clothes? Got it. Dog food? Got it. Yogurt and Christmas lights before Halloween. You get my point. This store goes in endless cycles of cleaning up and the being a total mess where I can't even go into an row HOWEVER. They have a newer cvs pharmacy and the staff is amazing. My husband has diabetes and I take medications daily and they are always so helpful. I used to go to a cvs and it was horrible. They always can fix a question we have can transfer out and in if we're away for some reason. They were the easiest place to transfer my new last name. Every single staff member is knowledgeable even if there's a long line will talk to you until you have the answers you're looking for!! read more

This Target used to be pretty awesome as far as customer service, store upkeep and parking lot maintenance (a firm 4, even for a big box store) but I have noticed a continual slide in all of the above. The store looks like "a hurricane hit it" as my boyfriend so aptly put it - clothes everywhere, coffee cups hanging out on the shelves, stuff five aisles over from where it should be. He refers to the racks of flip flops as "tornado alley" because there are usually dozesn of pairs of slippers, flip flops, etc all over the floor and even racks hanging down off the walls on several occasions. Parking lot is starting to float with garbage, even right in front of the entrance. I know this is a super busy store, but that is even less excuse - you are claerly raking in the dough with such a high clientele so hire people to clean up if you are understaffed. Now before someone makes the typical "of course, it's a city store" comment, this is in a mostly middle-middle to upper-middle class area and in the MANY years I have shopped their I would never have described it as even slightly messy compared to what it is now. I don't know if they have new management or just can't handle the larger crowds now that they sell (overpriced) groceries. On the up side, they do treat their workers better and give back more locally than other big box department stores like WalMart. I tend to come here if my friends want something and I'm bored - it's a good excuse to walk around, eye for a bargain or mostly just laugh at how much stuff costs compared to what I would pay for it at Amvets (yah, I'm cheap, but at least vintage furniture is made of wood, not chipboard). I get the occasional accessories I can't find from the thrift store, like sunglasses in a particularly funky color to match my recent dye job); their selection of $5 tights is particularly good, though that has been waning recently with their apparent lack of restocking. I also think they offer nicer quality and more interesting home goods for the price than most other big box, but still most of it is from China. Hire more people Target and clean the F up around your store. You are slipping into K Mart territory!!!! read more

i wish i could give more stars, as this is my go-to target in the neighborhood, but there's been a steady decline here. i definitely have an issue with the lack of security in the parking lot and in front of the building. the management is either unaware, or turning a blind eye to, the constant panhandling. the last thing i want to be confronted with are folks asking for change when i'm in my pajamas grabbing diapers and dog food. come on, be more aware and value your customers shopping environment a little more. read more

And I realized recently that their potato chip line is MASSIVE. if you are in the mood for a creative chip flavor, head to target. I gave them 4 stars because of their bathrooms. Utterly disgusting. This particular Target is a little bit dirtier and more unorganized than other Targets I've been to in the Western New York area but the are also some things I like about this particular location better than others. The parking is hands down, much better than the parking at the Target on Niagara Falls Boulevard in Amherst. This lot is strictly used for Target customers, no sharing and that is nice. Also, their return/customer service line moves a LOT quicker than the one in the Boulevard shopping center. There is no Starbucks in this location which is a bummer. Their shoes section is often a wreck; boxes aren't where they are supposed to be and its difficult to walk down the aisles as there are shoes blocking your walkway. They are oftentimes out of a lot of coffee products, it's a rarity that I will come here and find what I need coffee wise. They only have one photo machine and it rarely works. They don't have printing options here like they do at other Targets. They also don't have self check out lines. I come here because it's close but it's not my favorite and they could benefit by doing a little tech upgrade. read more
