I love Target! Especially this east side one! It's always clean and fully stocked. I can purchase clothes, groceries, wine, liquor and even incentive items for students. When I'm in a hurry, i order online and do the drive up - pick up! It's convenient and fast! I can shop online and pick up on my lunch break. The service is always great! Some of the workers here are kind and helpful, some on the other hand not so much! My mother had her wallet stolen from some of the young men who work there and the manager even lied about not knowing. We spoke with corporate and thankfully she got her wallet back but money, tickets and other items were still missing out if it, and of course the many did nothing about it. read more

PLEASE be more careful when handling pick up/drive up orders! Ordered for drive up, and EVERYTHING was damaged. Jar of pasta sauce was cracked and spilled everywhere! Granted, they replaced it, but when i removed everything from the bag later that evening, the bag of flour was ripped and already spilling and I didn't notice the iced tea I bought was also leaking! This Target is horrendous and I wish I was not forced to even give 1 star. While most Targets are bad at answering their phones, this Target is the very very worst!! I was driving through the area from out of town shopping for a specific item. I was able to reach other local Targets (after several tries) but this Target would not answer their phone despite my constantly calling them for nearly 2 hours!!! I tried 0, the Spanish option, other departments, but no answer... I even called a nearby store who verified the correct number for this address, and they could not reach them either. The East Hills Target has become a joke. It's messy, usually out of stock of what I need even though their app says they have it, expired food on the shelves and today, no shopping carts in the store. (Someone was finally bringing carts into the store after I had completed my shopping) This use to be my favorite store. I went at least once a week if not more. Came to get a few items for birthdays and it's a miracle I didn't buy anything else. I've been coming to this Target ever since it opened In the 90s. A few major recent upgrades: #1 the new cosmetic area looks way more open, lit up, and according to my wife, more products. #2 they gutted the food court area and made it into a Starbucks. They should really get a drop in stars for that, but that's coming from a coffee hater, and because I used to love their popcorn. First of all the store is a mess, but most targets are. Secondly, there was no one at the fitting rooms. Multiple associates walked by without helping us into the fitting rooms. My biggest concern is that I was charged for 2 things I didn't purchase. I had my daughter so I wasn't paying attention to the cashier ringing up my order. I checked later because it seemed high. I was charged for 2 dove products that I never picked out. The weird thing is I was charged for these two items that I never wanted AND THAT WERENT IN MY BAG WHEN I GOT HOME. My cashier left in the middle of ringing me up to help someone else which I was fine with. But I don't understand how I got charged for 2 items I never wanted to purchase. How did the cashier ring these random items up? Seems fishy to me. I tried to call customer service 5 times and no one would answer. All I wanted them to do was replay the tapes so I could get refunded $16. I didn't feel like driving across town at night with a toddler on that bad part of town. Anyways, I called the 1800 number and they sent me a $15 gift card, so that was nice. Idk if the cashier is doing some type of fraud or what. I also made sure everything I bought was accounted for in case I got rang up wrong, but nope that wasn't it. The store is absolutely filthy!! Always out of things and the shelves are all a mess. The customer service is also a mess, with tons of baskets full of things that need to be put away. Out of all the targets I've been to this one has been the worst! Clothes everywhere some shoes did not have pairs and if you found one pair it was in another side. Floors looked like they have not been cleaned at all, opened merchandise everywhere and a lot of young teens that do not know how to respect a store. They need new management honestly. read more

I come to this specific Target weekly and sometimes even several times a week. The store is a typical target store. What's cool about this one is that it's see,s it doesn't have as much traffic as the other targets. So what that means is more product and more selection. Has its busy times where registers sometimes back up. Normally a manager is around to call for more help to get things moving. I had an experience here the other night that I wasn't fond of though. A friend and I came here to get him a deodorant. We'd came around 10:30pm and I believe they close at 11pm. While we were on our way to the hygiene aisle. Every employee on our way had to remind us that they were closing in 30, 20, 15 minutes. It made for a very unpleasant experience for us. I mean I could see one employee reminding us. But when 3-4 remind us.. it's like okay I feel like we are being rushed out of the store. We eventually told one employee that we were very well aware of what time they close as 3 employees before her had reminded us. Target should have a recording over the speakers that say what time they are closing. That would be better than having every employee remind the customer. Who doesn't like Target? If you're a Target hater, I suggest you move on to the next review, because you will not like this. Yes, I'm a target aficionado, and I'm proud of it. Target is my go to place for clothes, birthday gift cards, accessories, shoes, groceries, home stuff, and when I want to burn time during lunch hour :). They have good quality and affordable merchandise compared to other stores. I also love their kids clothing and shoes. My daughter is still going through growth spurts, and buying her affordable, high quality yet stylish clothes is helpful and Target definitely provides all of that. This specific location is closest to where I work and my home so I come here a LOT! The only downside, this place doesn't have Starbucks or a wider variety of selections compared to the bigger Target stores in town. Just wishing and hoping that they are thinking of adding Starbucks, if they are, oh my! I will be there almost everyday! ;) read more

The bathrooms here are disgusting and I had the misfortune of having to use them. The towel dispensers were out and they put a soggy paper towel roll on top of the empty dispenser. The soap dispensers were all empty and someone put out the target brand soap. The floors were dirty with toilet paper strewn about. One toilet wasn't flushed. The employees just don't care about health code violations as they let someone push their non service animal about in the store. I do not live nearby, so I end up going here with my daughter n law when my son is working away. My experiences at this Target are good. The parking lot is big, plenty of places to park. Inside the employees are helpful if you need help finding something. Prices are good, maybe a little more than the store from Benton Arkansas, but who wants to deal with Walmart? There have been a minimum of five registers open when the store is somewhat busy (I have not been during a "holiday rush"). Last visit we needed CoQ10, found it for $27.99 for 120, but a 25% free, so got 150 capsules. Costco price for this is $34.00 for 100 capsules. We purchased all they had. So sometimes you can come up on a really good deal here. We were not going to even look. But glad we did. This is a much better alternative to Rosedale Target. read more

The East Side Target store is great. We buy groceries and clothes here and also pet needs. When I walk into other Target stores and ALWAYS at at the W store, I get tense because I know I will have to deal with crazy crowds and all I want to do is get what I want and get out. The east side Target is low stress. It is Smaller than the other locations, but parking and crowds are never a problem. The store is clean, well organized, and well stocked. The employees are nice. Even though the checkouts get full sometimes, they move the lines quickly and never show stress or snappiness when it is busy. I hate grocery shopping, but for some reason, I never mind coming her. It is really strange for me because I HATE shopping. Did I say I hate shopping yet? The East side Target is no problem for me. I Love shopping here, I can't put my finger on why. I have deducted one star for a couple of different issues, which are not uncommon but do arise from time to time. The first is that there can be a shortage of shopping carts. and by shortage, I mean none. the other issue is that there are not always enough cashiers... I'm bias here because I've been coming to this store since it opened back in the 80's and I was just a wee lad. I also used to work here for 5 or so years , so my opinion is bias. Since the east hills mall failed this has become the retail king of the east side. the beacon of all shopping when money isn't an option and you don't want to die going to the wal mart down the hill...speaking of wal mart down the hill...everything that wal mart does WRONG this store does right. I mean they are the same neighborhood but the atmosphere is the difference between night and day. amazing. I also have a good experience with the staff because I know them all personally as friends...or eventually become friends with them because they're friends of friends.so it's always go that going for it in my favor. The selection seems smaller than the other stores in town , especially movies and music , but I only buy those things now when it's a first week release...which they do a good job of keeping in stock. East side Target has cheaper prices than Rosedale. I challenge anyone to deny this fact. It may be a few pennies but if you want something cheaper try here. Also, the sales always seems to be here first and the selection much larger. It's not nearly as expansive as the locations on Rosedale and Stockdale, but it has everything that you may need. Garden department has some very helpful people too. If you dislike crowds, and people in general, try this location weekdays before 10am. I usually have the place to myself. read more

I was all set to cruise the fairway in the cart provided, but there seemed to be a lot of traps... mostly narrow aisles in the clothing section which would be crowded for walking, but mildly troublesome for the handicapable. The staff were very helpful in my quest to track down random items, and since I haven't been to this store much in the past few years and missed the renovations, their help was much needed. I give them props for their superpowers of restockingness. I went yesterday looking for, among other things, some foundation. As usual, everyone else must be the exact same shade of pale as I am, and the color I wanted was sold-out. I went back today for something else I needed (I'm not addicted to Target, scout's honor *twitch*) I decided to check just for the heck of it, and lo and behold there was exactly one of the ever so popular "pale girl" shade on the shelf with my name on it! I've never seen such non motivated people as the ones that work the electronic department here at Target at east hills. 4 people working there and they had no customer service skills what so ever. One "tech" was watching a video on his phone and when I tried to get his attention he huffed and then said "what do you want". I had questions but instead I just pointed to what I wanted to purchase. Instead of ringing me up himself he gave the item to another cashier who was dealing with a customer who had 20 plus items. Did I mention that none of the other registers were being used.
