This three star is actually for the Starbucks location in the store. I just ordered a few minutes ago and I must say the barista name Haley was one of the worst I encountered there. From the moment I ordered to the moment I got my drink, she had poor customer service. I hope next time I go, this doesn't happen again. I absolutely love it here! Order pickup, specifically, is my favorite. It's so convenient to be able to pretty much order my whole grocery list, and the staff there is so respectful & helpful! My order is always brought to me very quickly and even when it's not, the employee will apologize for the wait! Specifically, this employee named Gabriel. He helped me one time with an order and was super nice, respectful, and calm about it all! He had no problem and his attitude was positive the whole time, making me feel better about the situation. So, I've always had mixed feeling about Target. This mostly stems from the chaos that is the store by the Sun Valley mall. That one is designed for circus animals, not people. The Target store off Lone Tree is a breath of fresh air, in comparison. First off, during the Wii shortage, I finally found one at this store. This is the cause for 5 stars. Just this event. So, beyond that, this store is a 4 star. It is a Target store with all the features of your average Greatland store. If you want to be profiled, come to this target. I conducted my own little experiment when i noticed after a 3rd visit in a span of 3 days that their loss prevention was always near me. Today, there was LP waiting for me at the door and one behind me pretending to buy shit in self checkout. On my way out, i made sure my receipt was visible and the guy greeted me to have a nice day & then LEFT the front of the store where he just seemed to be hanging out. I rarely shop at Target and tonight was a perfect example of why I rarely do. Made an online order for a netgear router/ modem. Said it would be ready in two hours. Waited an hour, no response if it was ready or didn't have the product. Came in at 915 to ask if it was going to be ready before the store closed. Nikolas wasn't much help. Another gentleman had also asked about an order he made and Nikolas's response was oh it's not ready yet. Didn't even try to go above and beyond by offering to see what the status of the order was. He told us you could see if it's on the floor and if it isn't you can cancel the order. That irritated me. We went to check to see if the netgear we had ordered was in stock and it wasn't. It was even more frustrating to know we ordered something that wasn't even on the floor. No one was around to help us out. We canceled our order and left the store. Target hire people who want to go above and beyond for their customers. Not give lazy responses and don't want to do their jobs!! This is why I prefer Best Buy over your store when it comes to electronics! And better customer service! read more

I have shopped at the Target in Antioch at Slatten Ranch since they opened and up until recently have been happy with the selection and prices. The store was remodeled in the last 1-2 years and since the remodel, I have noticed many changes-the layout and available merchandise being the most notable. I personally despise the new layout as I prefer the aisle type layout the store had previously. The second is product availability. Today I made a point to go to Target for a select number of items, only one of which was in stock. Target does carry the other items I wanted, however, those as well as many other products were not in stock. Many empty shelves, yet long checkout lines and poor store layout. So disappointed in the store and management. If they want to keep their loyal customers, they are going to have to do a better job!! read more

Wow! I was super impressed with the exceptional customer service that I received at Target today. I have lived in Antioch since 2003 and this is the Target that I always shop. I guess the renovations of the store layout also meant they improved their recruitment practices. Keanu totally exceeded my expectations. Not only did he stop what he was doing to assist me but he walked me to another area in the store where additional merchandise was located. This is my Go To Target location. I always find parking in the front and most of the time, in the shade too! I'm usually here for a few items, I know exactly what I need so I go in and get out fairly quick. I recently found out about jeans here so I've bought about 5 pairs now. The fitting room attendants are always nice and friendly. They always give stickers to my son, lol. There's never really long lines here which I like. The cashiers are quick. Either you get a really friendly, talkative one or someone who just wants you out of their line and on to the next one. They opened up a Starbucks inside! I haven't ordered anything from there yet so I can't say much about that. read more

I have been visiting this target for a long time but it wasn't until last month when I decided to finally stop complying with this store's unlawful treatment of customers. One day lat month I went to Target to buy just a case of water and some tea, and as I was leaving the security guard--after the self-checkout lady already did so--asked to check my purse, my receipt, AND my basket which was full of all TWO items. Well, I told him, "No thanks, not today, I'm good." Because rent-a-cops or whatever the frank they are by law cannot violate you like that. NEVER comply with the security guard and don't show your receipt. The only reason you can be detained and checked is when you join and sign a membership agreement (i.e. Costco), that includes text that waives your rights to privacy and claims of illegal detention. But Target does not fall into this category! Perhaps you want to argue that since the Target security guard is not a government official, he doesn't have to abide by fourth amendment (right to privacy)? Think again....think vested powers! A merchant detains you and the police are involved, and the police detain you without investigation based solely on the direction of the merchant, OR due to a plan or agreement, the merchant can be liable for a §1983 Constitutional violation, as the state has vested power in the merchant. If you think these don't garner large settlements and judgments, I suggest you look up a couple cases of false imprisonment by merchant. read more

Target used to be one of my favorite places to go to for my Target runs! BUT WHAT DID THEY DO???!!! They remodeled it and it is HORRIBLE that If I shop now, I just go in and out as quickly as possible except the layout holds me up bc I get lost! I no longer like to browse and really shop like I used to do!!! Who is the consulting firm they paid to ruin the store? Target should ask their long term and good customers how to improve the layout and flow! Now it is designed like K-mart and well, you know how that went! And I am not the only one who feels this way, bc every single person I talked to from friend, family, Target employee, customer- they are ALL saying the same thing that they HATE it and now don't even bother shopping anymore just get in and get out! IMHO Target in general has been going down hill for years. First the garden center went away, then the auto supply/accessories, and then tools and outdoor accessories diminished. Currently the entertainment section (DVDs, Music and books) is rapidly dissolving. Most of the brand names have been replaced with Target brands which are odd to say the least. I used to enjoy shopping at Target a few times a month, but on my latest visit I walked out empty handed. I overheard many other customers complaining about the lack of selection(s) as I walked through the store. The remodel and layout change is atrocious. I am not sure why Target has taken such an ugly turn or who the marketing genius is that has degraded their stores with nothing but junk but at this rate they won't be getting business from my family or friends. This new medication I'm taking is ridiculously expensive but when I presented my prescription to CHEVY at the Target pharmacy he did some research and gave me a "discount code" a specific Bin#, Gr# and Pcn# that took my order down over 75% of what I would have had to pay for it. He literally saved me over $500 per month. He didn't have to make that extra effort but he did... I love shopping at Target because Target has everything I need! However, this particular store has its awesome, good, and worst employees. I really need to take note of that one old lady who hates coupons and needs re-training on Target's coupon policy. I was at guest services yesterday to get my receipt adjusted because when I bought my item, the cashier did not want to accept a mobile coupon with a cartwheel coupon when it is very clear on their policy that this is allowed. I quote, "Only one manufacturer coupon (paper or Cartwheel digital), one Target coupon (paper or digital), and one Cartwheel℠ offer can be combined per item (unless otherwise noted on coupon). " So the young lady at guest services asked her manager, Deborah if she can do it and Deborah was awesome to say that yes this is allowed. Now this old lady on the other register was saying "it depends on the item, you can't accept 2 manufacturer coupons for 1 item." First of all, miss old lady, I am using a mobile coupon with a cartwheel so we would appreciate if you could help other customers instead of sticking your nose in other people's business. I will surely update this review once I get your name. Second, the line is getting longer, you need to help the other customers. Lastly, she was rude because when I got done with my transaction, she was still asking about what item was I getting!? Really!? Very rude, and poor customer service. I'm giving this review 3 stars because there are still a lot of cashiers and managers who are awesome in this store like Raymond, Deborah and Jeanette to name a few. read more

Update: Good Thing: the drive up/pick up spots have been moved to the side of the building. Bad Thing: no additional handicap parking spots were added. Good Thing: you can bring in/reuse the Target recycle bags; Bad Thing: you have to pack your own items. Why? Other stores like Raley's and Safeway let you reuse their bags and they bag your purchases, and they even put your bags in your cart, which Target does not do. I'm totally bumfuzzled by Target's actions in these areas. read more

I love this Target, but my car was broken into last time I came. I spent 15 minutes in the store and came out to find my window smashed in and items stolen. During Christmas time this Target was great, clean, and nice to shop at. More recently it has become really dirty and unorganized. As a professional in the field of consumer and customer relations, never have I experienced poor service as Denilla presented during my shopping experience. I was in line, when I heard her telling a young woman in front of me that she needed to pick a different lane, in a very ill-mannered tone. It made me feel bad for her as well as the cashier, who had generously apologized to the customers in line. I was surprised to learn that she was a manager, as she should be of positive influence in a superior role. Choice of management should be reconsidered if they represent Target with abysmal attitude and an impolite demeanor. My concern is for the sake of loyal shoppers, but as for me, I'll gladly commute for a trashy K-mart with better service. read more

I bought a Christmas tree on sale at Target mid December. My family decorated the tree. We came into the room on Christmas Eve at about 5pm and this is what I saw (photo uploaded). The plastic on tree strand broke causing the ​tree to fall and when it hit the coffee table, the joint to attach tree in the middle broke too. A crystal ornament that was special to me broke. This is a very nice Target. Not always stocked as well as it should be but it's not their fault. We had trouble with the old Pharmacy but that's gone now. Gave my daughter heart medication in with pain medication which was hers. They thought it was funny. Today, once again though I was stuck in line while the clerk is opening Red Card accounts for customers. That takes too much time to be done at the registers on the weekends. Please stop. Holy home goods! Smaller target but such a great selection of home goods! Loved it all. Food court was really dirty my husband had to clean off a table when my little guy got hungry.
