Sharon of Custom Computer Services & more llc both helped me select my new computer and transition…read morefrom the old computer to the new one. She facilitated this process by networking the computers together. The process was much smoother than it has ever been when I've done it alone. I am the sole proprietor of my business and if my computer isn't working (or I'm working on setting up my computer) I'm not getting paid. Sharon also helped me transition to a new OS. She is very personable, knowledgeable and very quick to respond to service requests. I highly recommend Custom Computer Services for IT assistance from computer purchase advice, to network setup, to off-site network monitoring.

I had a terrible experience with this business. I went in with a TV that wouldn't turn on…read more First, they want $75 to diagnose a problem. Bad way to start. I think most businesses try to diagnose the problem for free or nearly so, and give you a quote for the repair. Not Munster's TV. Yes, I should have walked out. Second, they could not diagnose the problem. They claim to be able to fix TVs, but they couldn't diagnose mine, therefore they couldn't fix it. (Their web site claims "39 Years of Experience.") Third, their web site claims "Prompt Service," but it took 6 weeks: They didn't even look at my TV for a week. Then we called, and another week went by. Then they couldn't find my TV. Then they want to order a part (the power board) so I said OK. Two more weeks go by. Then we find out it's not the power board, and they can't fix it after all. Fourth, their communications aptitude is lacking. Didn't respond to e-mail. They called us once in those 6 weeks. We called them about every 5-6 days. Nothing felt right about the entire episode. My conclusion: Muster's doesn't know how to BE a good business, and most importantly, they can't DO the business they claim to be able to do.

Clearly, they can't handle the load of repairs. There aren't many others places to take your business, but don't go here! I dropped off a video projector that had a small issue (which I described in detail to the son.) Weeks later I get a hold of the father and he says it doesn't come on at all. It's possible that somewhere between my last use and when I dropped it off that this other problem occurred, but I'll never know. He then took it apart, told me what I already knew, and when I went to retrieve it two months later because he still hasn't gotten to it, he wouldn't give me my $75 exam fee back. (Numerous phone calls in between all this.) For that $75 he didn't tell me what was wrong, what I might expect to pay for a repair, or if it was even repairable. That borders on criminal as far as I'm concerned. Dave, these bad reviews are no accident. I will make sure people know not to use you. Return my examination fee; you can't honestly believe you earned it. And to top it off, I just found out from another repairman that the reason the bulb wouldn't come on was because the top was incorrectly reattached.
