Phoned them to see if they'd fix a bad charge port on a Samsung tablet (their website says they do tablet repairs). I was told "maybe, if we can find the parts". Was quoted $50 if they could fix the original port, $125 to replace the port...and that's IF they could do it. The tablet itself only cost 119 new! I told them nevermind, I'll do it myself. Got a replacement port on Amazon for $8.99 and took all of 5 minutes to do it myself using YouTube for reference. read more

I can't recommend this place highly enough. My phone got severe water damage while I was in the area on vacation and I needed it fixed before leaving town later that day. I got there right as the store opened in the morning and he had my phone fixed by 1pm. It ended up needing a new screen and camera and the associated cost was obviously not cheap but lower than I was expecting and I think it was incredibly fair. My phone was damaged enough that I don't think just any place could have saved it, let alone in 4 hours and at that price point so I am incredibly grateful. read more

I was pretty upset when I completely shattered my phone and thought I was going to have to pay around $200 or something to get my phone fixed at that little kiosk in the Maine mall. However, my mom and I decided to do a google search to see if there were any closer (and possibly less expensive) places. We found this one in Windham and decided to go. I called ahead to check the hours and found out that their prices were way less than the others. I only had to pay $60 to fix my phone. The screen was put on perfectly and took less than an hour. The two employees that I talked to were both very friendly and helpful. If you crack your phone and live around the area, I would recommend you go here to fix it. read more

We're visiting my parents in Maine when my 18 yr old son's iPhone 6s started flashing grey and white lines before going completely dead. He looked up local cell repair sites and luckily for us found Cell Phone Medic. We could not be more happy with the service we received. I had an absolutely wonderful experience here yesterday. I cracked my IPhone 8+ screen, which is the first time I'd ever broken my phone. My first thought was to use my phone's insurance, but I didn't want a refurbished phone when mine was perfectly fine despite the cracked screen. I called a bunch of cell phone repair stores to get quotes. Cell phone medic's prices were better than everyone else's, plus they could take me that day for the repair. On Tuesday my Samsung Galaxy s7 finally succumbed to its injuries. While in a life proof case it had been run over by a truck. I then dropped it 10-15 more times over time after I got rid of the ruined case. Finally I dropped it at work and the screen became progressively more and more purple until the entire thing was a post-modern painting and no longer a usable screen. Thursday was my day off and I went in to the Cell Phone Medic in North Windham. Zack greeted me at the counter and took a look at my shattered dreams and even more shattered cell phone. He went out back without a word and came back telling me that they had the back glass and screen in stock and that they could fix my phone within a few hours. Not only that but they offered a discount if I replaced both pieces at once. On top of all that they applied a shatter resistant covering that is stronger than tempered glass. This they demonstrated on a phone which had the material applied by hitting it with a metal punch. Yes, a hard metal punch for setting nails or driving out bolts to the screen. Oh did I mention that the demo phone had about 30 or 40 similar such impacts previously. The screen was not cracked. Glen got my phone fixed in about two hours while I ran errands and had lunch in North Windham. If you have a problem with your cell phone, iPad, screen protector etc. this is the place to go. I have taken my phone and iPad here whenever there is an issue and it is repaired in a timely fashion for a reasonable price. In the past I was taking a trip to the Maine Mall to purchase the screen protector outside of the iPhone store. It was $30 for the original and then $10 for each replacement. As soon as I heard cell phone medic sold the screen protectors and they were guaranteed I was thrilled. I Purchased my first protector and it has been replaced twice, for free. Yes I said free! I was also in there recently as my cell phone wasn't working properly all of a sudden. Turns out the problem was from the new iPhone upgrade. Cell phone medic had it fixed in a matter of minutes. I brought my I phone here for a broken screen. They fixed it in a timely manner but the front camera doesn't work any longer and now the screen is experiencing all sorts of color distortion issues. Perhaps the sub par screen they use to repair and replace. Ive dealt with much better repair places in other states. My guess is maine is still adjusting to the technology curves..... read more

Went in to have a battery replaced as it not longer lasted in colder weather. Immediately after phone would just shutdown and I would have to restart for it to function, this happened several times. They did kindly switch out for a new battery and phone lasted a few hours and began to act up again. Was told that sometimes a new battery will cause other problems in an old phone to show up?????? Not sure it that is correct or if they caused the issues I am now having. Fixed by buying a new phone from Apple, old phone owed me nothing but I'm out $30 and kids have an music storage device. read more

Glenn, the Cell Phone Medic, is BEYOND AMAZING. My LG V10 was stuck in a boot loop and like a dozen other places refused to even look at it. An AT&T employee recommended Glenn, and I am so glad I called!! Right from the getgo he and Zach were friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. They knew exactly what to do, and were able to get it out of the boot loop so I could transfer my data over to my new phone. When it went back into the boot loop again later that night (not a reflection of their skills at all, the boot loop is a common error hardwired into the V10 by LG that has been otherwise unfixable), we called and they told us to come back, no extra charge, and spent several more hours on it until every last thing was transferred over. Was on annual vacation at the lake and decided to have screen replaced on other wise good iphone 5S that was 6 months old. Stopped in and they said they could do it in 30 minutes. Waited over 90 minutes. Seemed ok when I left but within a day I found the touch screen would lock up every few minutes. Made phone useless for navigation. Took back to them and they first tried to blame it on a software update. Then they said they didn't have another replacement screen but "cleaned" contacts and said it should be ok. It was not. I don't live local to them and my time is valuable. I took phone to another shop and they replaced screen. Second shop said that one of the screws had been stripped and that part of my finger identification assembly was missing. They fixed the issues and put in a new screen and it has been working fine ever since. Maybe if I was local I could have continued to go back until Cell phone medic had properly repaired my iphone but because I am not local and they had it twice I would not recommend cell phone medic. read more
