It's safe to say all of my guests felt the same. We all LOVED it. Sussy is the best! My faith in online ordering has been restored, and it's all thanks to Sussy! Most people would fantasize about a fancy wedding with hundreds of guests, but I was really happy with my small COVID-19 wedding with only 4 guests, which took place in our apartment. We did everything ourselves, from the decorations to the bridal hair and makeup, and the last thing I want to do is make a cake myself. Sussy saved my day and made my dream cake come true and even better than I could imagine. I'm never a fan of chocolate cake but hers was just magical. I LOVED LOVED LOVED the raspberry buttercream and also the delicious dulce de leche filling. I originally sent Sussy a cake design that I found online and loved, and I was expecting an exact replica of it. But NOPE! She did not copy a single thing from it, which I highly respected her for. She used her own designs and listened to my ideas to come up with the most beautiful cake ever! I also really appreciate that she picked a Baileys strawberry and cream bottle as the centerpiece as my wedding color scheme is rose gold-peachy pink. The bottle really tied everything on the cake together. I LOVED EVERYTHING about the cake. Thank you so so much for making me a beautiful cake, and I definitely will order more from you in the future when there's a special occasion.

Whenever I'm back home in Virginia, I will be sure to pick up a treat or two from my beautiful baker Margie. She takes such pride in her baking and it's done with love.

Being the mom of a freshman who is 3hrs away learning how to navigate special days where you can't be present is new and can be a challenge. Of course I sent a care package full of treats, but I wanted her to also have something fresh. I ordered a box that came with six cupcakes, two cookies and half a dozen chocolate covered strawberries. This was a large enough box for her to share with her friends (highly doubt this happened. My girl loves sweets lol) or to keep her satisfied all weekend lol. Ordering was easy and delivery was a breeze. They checked in with me the day before to confirm the delivery time and even snapped a really cute picture of her holding her surprise. I definitely plan on visiting them in person on my next visit to the Burg. If you're looking for a few sweet treats, I'd highly recommend Sweet Joy's.

I have been eyeing the Banana Cream Pie with Banana Buttercream. The gentleman in front of me in line ordered what I thought was the last one and apparently Ashton noticed my shoulders slump . Got that, Boston Cream Pie, Cookies and Cream, Red Velvet, and Dark Chocolate with Vanilla Buttercream. Ashton is very friendly and knows her cupcakes! Fortunately, I have no food allergies and neither do my children. However, if we did, I'd definitely get our cakes there. They taste out of this world! Moist and delicious flavors! They did not taste a day old! My family and I ate them when I got home. They were very moist and delicious. Could not tell they were vegan at all! We will definitely be back. To top off the great cupcakes, Ashton is a very sweet person herself. She thought I was there to pick up an order of gorgeous looking chocolate covered strawberries and when I tried to pay for the 3 cupcakes I chose, she said they were on the house. Even after I told her I had not ordered the strawberries, she did not have me pay for the cupcakes! She has made a loyal customer with her generous act. I will be making my hair appts when she is open so I can take treats home to my family. Thank you Ashton!
