I would only go if you're on a bus trip and don't have any other options. The gift shop is massive and has different merchandise than the park. They also have deals on certain chocolate items and sometimes have new products as well. The check out lines can get long but move very quickly. There is also a self checkout line than can be hard to find but is very quick. You have to stop by if you're visiting Hersheypark- don't miss it!

On this visit we sampled the ham and cheese croissant, the apple croissant, and the savory bread pudding. Everything was delicious! The croissants were some of the best ones my wife and I have eaten. The chocolates were a huge hit at our wedding! So many guests commented on how delicious and elegant they were. We made sure to let them know where they could buy more.
