First, I thought it was a great idea to have a food truck on a weekend morning, because you can tap into a different group of patrons than on a Friday night. Service was spot on with each type of croissant and food item was explained (with pride) to me while trying to choose. On this visit we sampled the ham and cheese croissant, the apple croissant, and the savory bread pudding. Everything was delicious! The croissants were some of the best ones my wife and I have eaten. So much so we contemplated walking back to the truck for seconds. If you see their food truck stop and you will not be disappointed! We are looking forward to visiting the shop and trying some of their specialty chocolates!

Frederic was incredibly warm, welcoming, and friendly throughout our visit, making the entire process so enjoyable. We sampled several of the chocolates, and every single one was absolutely delicious. We ended up selecting Red, a red berry-filled chocolate, and Hedonism, a hazelnut and sea salt chocolate. The chocolates were a huge hit at our wedding! So many guests commented on how delicious and elegant they were. We made sure to let them know where they could buy more. We couldn't have been happier with our choice. The chocolates are incredible and the customer service is outstanding. My husband and I cannot recommend Frederic's chocolates highly enough!

We're not sure where the delay occurred--whether it was the kitchen, staffing, or something else--but between waiting for a table and then waiting for our food, the entire process felt excessively long. The good news is that the food itself was really good. My husband ordered the burnt ends egg dish, and I had the praline pancakes, which were excellent. We also ordered sausage as a side, and that was great as well. We had no complaints about the quality of the food. Would we come back? Maybe. If we did, we would probably try to arrive before 8 a.m. or after the main breakfast rush. The restaurant is fairly small, and based on our experience, it seemed to struggle with getting guests seated and served efficiently during a busy period. Plenty of busy breakfast restaurants and diners manage to turn tables and get food out quickly, so I think The Hershey Pantry could really benefit from looking at its service and kitchen workflow during peak hours.
