Firsthand, I inquired about the group webinar but since the class was getting full quickly, she took me readily into an individual coaching after a quick assessment. Honestly, I preferred this method so it all worked out well for me. I very much enjoyed working with Liz. It is a six-week session and can be flexible. Her professionalism and expertise in Accent Reduction are above and beyond my expectations. The provided materials - Accent Reduction 101 Third Edition and links to audio files - are extremely useful and easy to follow and understand. Her coaching skills are immensely engaging and there's never a dull moment. I've learned a great deal about how to leverage and maximize my full potential using the speech stairs method and placing my speech articulators in the right position to have a better range of motion and speak with clarity and confidence. I have a better grasp of the unusual nuances and oral resonance of speaking American English. I find all these tools beneficial for my future venture into teaching ESL. To be clear,…read morewe had already participated in FIVE MONTHS of weekly orofacial myofunctional therapy with a different provider (and gotten absolutely nowhere) so I feel I have a fairly qualified perspective. Also, my daughter and I arrived at Erin's office very worn out and unenthused about more tongue therapy. We were not ideal clients but Erin was awesome. She carefully, thoroughly, and SUBTLEY evaluated my daughter (who thought she was just having a snack!!). Erin called me the next day for a private conversation (without my daughter) to explain the various issues she thought we needed to work on. I was stunned; most of what Erin diagnosed was all new to me. Erin took the time to discover WHY my daughter had tongue thrust and treat the underlying problem, not just the symptoms. Erin took a comprehensive view, tailoring speech, feeding and orofacial myofunctional therapy into a personalized (and written) treatment plan. My daughter's therapy sessions were FUN; she looked forward to them. Erin was so encouraging and she always had a fun craft or activity interwoven throughout the session. Homework was tailored and manageable (unlike our previous dreary and exhausting 20 minutes 3x/day homework that never helped anyway). When my daughter mastered an exercise, Erin moved us along our treatment plan (instead of just randomly rotating new exercises as our previous therapist had done.) Erin coached me on what to watch for at home during our weekly homework, encouraging me to contact her if I had questions or saw quick improvement so she could modify my daughter's exercises. Midway through therapy, my daughter had an ortho appliance removed which caused new issues to crop up. Erin dropped everything and switched our treatment plan to nip this new issue in the bud. Further, on several occasions Erin initiated contact with me between sessions to offer an additional idea or treatment exercise. But best of all, Erin's comprehensive and perfectly tailored treatment plan worked! We graduated in only ten visits! We left weekly therapy with Erin's reassurance that I could contact her anytime if I (or the dentist/ortho) saw any signs of my daughter regressing. I can't recommend Erin highly enough. Five stars for sure!

This review is a year overdue. I thought I had written a review prior. Oops…read more We saw Ms. Cindy for a few months in the fall of 2023. We were referred to Amaryllis for OT for our 1 month old son. (He's now 1.5 years old.) Our lactation consultant didn't suspect a tongue tie but she had suggested Amaryllis for some OT since he wasn't latching correctly. When we first saw Ms. Cindy, it would take our son 30-40 minutes to finish his bottle. And by the time he was finished, he was still hungry. We discovered his bottle time should be between 15-20 minutes and he was using extra energy which is why he would still be hungry. We saw Ms. Cindy for about 10 sessions? Maybe 8? It was about 8-10 weeks for about 30 minutes each time. And our son was so much better. He wasn't using his tongue correctly in utero and we worked on some exercises to help him. We saved some sessions for when he started solids but honestly, we didn't end up needing them. He became such a good eater. And I think it is because of the work we did with him in the first few months of his life. We definitely appreciate all the work that Ms. Cindy did and all the extra work we had to do at home as well.

I have heard good things about Amaryllis Therapy Network, but we did not have a good experience. I…read morewanted to mention that this review is solely about tongue ties and lip ties. I have no experience with the other therapies that Amaryllis offers, which is why I am giving 2 stars instead of 1. I also wanted to preface that I believe the person we worked with us has now left Amaryllis so me experience is only with one OT. We were seeing a lactation consultant who mentioned that our baby may have a tongue tie and lip tie. They recommended that we go to Amaryllis to have it checked out. The OT we met with immediately told us that the baby had significant lip ties and tongue ties and that we would definitely need to have them removed. My baby was eating fairly normally up to this point, so we were surprised the ties were such an issue. The person also began talking about research studies that she was participating in herself, her brain waves, and started to tell us how she used Ivermectin to treat COVID on herself. It was just a very odd appointment. Before we left she told us that she would recommend the person who would do the laser removal of the ties and that we had to go to that person. This made us feel like she was getting a referral fee. We left feeling very uneasy. We decided to to get a second opinion with a pediatric dentist. The pediatric dentist said our baby had a slight tongue tie, but that it was so insignificant that they would not recommend doing anything. The dentist said that he does tongue tie and lip tie procedures when they are needed, and he charges a very nominal fee to do so, but that our baby did not need any intervention. We were very disappointed with our experience and never went back to Amaryllis.

We had to constantly put speech therapy on hold because speech therapist kept quitting. So this was frustrating, because every time my daughter saw a new therapist we had to start over with her Adjusting to someone else! Which frustrated me that I just paid money for her to keep adjusting to new people and not actually working on speech. And they never did anything to make it right! Then eventually just texted me that they had no one for the rest of 2021! I've asked my my daughters progress reports and they will not return my calls. I do definitely recommend OT and speech for children I just wouldn't go here. This business is kind of a mess!! Also we got charged for weeks after stoping therapy! Just not good communication through staff, I guessThe front desk didn't tell anyone in finance that we were no longer coming. Not to mention the number of old, broken toys my daughter played with. Put money into good toys, especially for what you charge!!
