The hike itself was absolutely stunning Sunday morning. The weather had shaped up nicely and while it was covered with snow, it didn't require crampons (I went in trail runners). As snow melted and fell from the pines, it felt like a magical playground. The bridges are all very close to each other, the water rushing along side most of this hike made for the most tranquil morning. I can't imagine this trail being anymore beautiful than it was this past weekend. I've seen glimpses of it in the summer from videos of trail runs and while it's gorgeous then I am so grateful to have experienced it covered in a layer of snow, icicles hanging, sun shining and simply splendid from the moment we parked the car at the trailhead. Highly recommend!

Came out from Philadelphia and visited with my parents…read more I forgot my ID and the waiter carded me and would not serve me without it. I am 34 years old with a 6 inch beard. The waiter did not card my parents (ageism) The waiter did not card other patrons that appeared to be maybe 40 years old. I understand by law the brewery should card every patron so I cannot be too upset I was not served. But it was annoying that the waiter did not ask other people for ID but demanded it from me. My biggest complaint is that on a Thursday and noon the location was out of 4-5 beers (all of the brews my Dad and I wanted to try. I understand I could not try draft on premises but even if I brought my ID they did not have anything I wanted to try) They only had the super mainstream beers available that I can get from my local grocery store. They were also out of all crowler cans....so we could not even take out one of those in any brew. (I have visited maybe 50 breweries and literally none of them have ever been "out of cans" before.) The beer to go offered again was only the mainstream beers you could get anywhere. When we asked why they were out of so many beers they said they had a busy weekend..... again I have been to many breweries and guarantee I have been to busier breweries and they never ran out of so much beer. Again we went on a Thursday, so the 'busy weekend' excuse is fairly ridiculous since they had 3-4 days to restock after said 'busy weekend' It would be one thing if this location only served beer but they also brew, produce, can and offer tours of the brewery at this location. I cannot imagine such poor business practices that a location like this would run out of half the beers they offer during the weekend and not bother to replenish or restock any of them before Thursday (4 days later) The Mac and cheese I ordered was p good.. The location was nice and clean with a cool cabin environment. The waiter was nice enough but also fairly slow with service. It took maybe 25 minutes to learn they were out of all the beers we were interested in. We would ask for one, he would waddle over to the bar, eventually come back and say they are out of that one. We would ask for another. Repeat 4-5 times. The waiter did not specify when we sat down that they were out of any beers and did not say them all at once. The waiter also did not provide us with the daily specials. But we could hear this being present the 3 parties who came in after us with those specials. On the way out I asked the guy at the front store why they were out of so many beers and crowlers. He just stared blankly past me like he smoked 5 joints before work and never provided me an answer. Overall the visit was very disappointing. I can easily get over the fact I couldn't drink because my mistake leaving my ID at home, but the fact they were out of 5 beers, the waiter's lack of initiative to inform us of what was unavailable, repeated trips to the bar without saying what was out, waiter's lack of initiative to inform us of the specials, age discrimination by not carding all patrons (which is illegal) and being out of crowler cans made the trip not worth my time and extremely disappointing. I will not be returning. My parents who for the last 3-5 years have had a yearly club gathering at the location with 30-50 patrons will not be returning. The visit made me disappointed.

Walking in, it definitely puts off the heavy metal vibes. The taproom is dark and somewhat small. There's a bar to order beer from, lots of communal seating, and Music City Hot Chicken in the back. We did order food and I highly recommend it. I also tried a few beers and I really enjoyed them. They have several IPAs and some that are a bit more funky. The beers do rotate so there's something different. I really enjoyed "Only Death is Real": Brewed in Collaboration with Death & Co. Saison Brewed with Local Malt and Fermented on Passionfruit Puree, Ginger, Juniper Berries, Lemon & Lime Peel. Definitely check them out if you haven't!

The lady working the register was honestly probably the rudest person I have ever met at a brewery. She was pushy and short with us. We thought about staying for a bit but I didn't want to deal with her again. I got a pale ale and it was okay. The seating isn't the greatest either. All separate tables were taken so we had to sit on the long community table, which I felt like we were so close to other people we could all hear each other's conversations. I will say the food looked really good coming out of Music City in the back. I would maybe come back for that fried chicken.

The restaurant has three floors. We sat on the main floor in the middle, overlooking the lower downtown streets below. The vibe was casual and cheerful. We sat at a table near the bar. I checked in with the host and was told there was going to be a 15-20 minute wait. We arrived shortly after the game was over so luckily people were leaving. The bar seating was full. The atmosphere was loud and lively. They have multiple TVs around the bar and in the standard dining area. We were seated fairly quickly with the 15-20 minute window. I ordered the Wynkoop bison burger. I was visiting Denver and heard about the different meats Denver has for burgers such as elk and deer so I decided to try something different than the normal beef patty and ordered the bison burger. The Wynkoop burger has a natural colorado bison patty, smoked gouda, pickled onions, green chili mayo, and arugula all on a brioche bun. The burger had a sweet taste to it due to the brioche bun. I asked for it medium well and it wasn't pink and wasn't overcooked. Some places when you ask for medium well the patty ends up being burnt and tough which I don't like. The patty was tender. The combination of flavors was good. It had green chill mayo on the bun. Denver is known for green chili and I wanted to try some green chile dishes. It was tasty. There were options for the sides for coleslaw or fries. I opted to sub for a salad instead for an extra $2. Our group also ordered the green chili fries and it was a big portion. The fries were smothered with white queso, pork green chili, cotija, lime crema, and cilantro. The green chile queso addition was interesting as there were chunks of green chile and tomatoes pieces that added a bit of acidity to the fries but with the queso it was delicious! The service was good and the waiter checked in with us multiple times. Overall, I would recommend this place for the burgers. The food was good and it was comfort American food. If you like sports this place is great to watch sports with friends and is good for groups which is an added plus!
