After a simple opening of my mouth as she peered inside, she provided me with a lip/tongue tie diagnosis following months of dr.'s visits with no solid answers. Within the first two weeks of performing her home exercise program I saw a vast improvement in my jaw stability and tongue mobility. Months later, and I'm still seeing progress in terms of strength and overall function in my day to day activities. Her office has plenty of available parking near the entrance too, which is a huge plus during the snowy winter months in CO. If you're suffering from any form of oral dysfunction, give Sandra a call and she'll set you straight, both in the literal and figurative sense. This practice is a hidden gem, and my life has been enriched immeasurably since I found her.

The kids have to do the exercises 3x/day, so it's a lot of work, and the visits aren't always covered by insurance. But we thought it was worth all the expense, time, and effort. We would definitely recommend her!

Let me start this post by saying that I am generally skeptical in nature, and given all the…read morespeculation about chiropractic care, doubly so about it. However, I'd tried it twice before. I went once when I was 20, and my mother recommended I go see her chiropractor for some pain I was having. Now, I was skeptical at that time too, but I was living under her roof at the time, so I did as she said. And, to my surprise, I felt better after seeing him. Fast forward to my early 30s, and I'm no longer living under mom's roof; however, I started experiencing the same sort of pain for which I had previously seen mom's chiropractor. So, having seen success in the past, I decided to go see another chiropractor. This time, unfortunately, I chose randomly from a google search of Denver chiropractor's. Poor decision on my part. After seeing the second chiropractor three times, I was unhealed and felt that he was just guessing as to what he should be doing given my complaints. After that useless experience, I became highly skeptical of chiropractic care. However, when my knees starting giving me pain, a massage-therapist friend of mine recommended that I go see Dr. Kennedy, and I tried a chiropractor for the third time in my life. Dr. Kennedy has changed by perspective on chiropractic care. Dr. Kennedy takes time to try to understand his clients' needs. My first visit with him lasted well over an hour, and he performed a number of diagnostic tests to try to determine the cause of my ailments. It was only once he understood the problem(s), that he began to do any manipulations on me. I've now visited Dr. Kennedy three times, and the knee pain is completely gone (I even went skiing this weekend with no sign of pain whatsoever). Moreover, he continues to research what might be causing my other issues. Every time I've visited him, Dr. Kennedy has given me the impression that he continues to think about his patients after they leave his office. He's vested in their wellness, and wants to do everything he can to make them feel better. Unlike the last chiropractor I visited (who seemed unbothered by the fact that I was seeing no results), Dr. Kennedy has a real sense of duty in helping those who visit him. He takes time to understand his patient's ailments and needs, and takes time to explain what he is doing to aid them. He explains the science behind chiropractic care as he goes along, and takes a holistic approach to healing his patients, incorporating both eastern and western modalities into his practice. He has also suggested that I start taking some supplements, but has never pushed them on me. In fact, quite the opposite, he offered to give me a bottle of something he thought would really help me. If you've considered chiropractic care in the past but have been too much of a skeptic to try it, I highly recommend Dr. Kennedy, as his approach and results are likely to alleviate many of your concerns. I know he alleviated mine. Dr. Kennedy is sincere, honest, caring, and perhaps most importantly good at what he does.

I followed their instructions and did exactly that. I was then told that they did not have any therapists available. I stopped my EI program just to be told that my child would not have access to therapy and I should find another provider. My child is already facing challenges in life and so far, Solace has negatively contributed in our journey by having an intake process that is not designed for children to be successful. I have been waiting for a month and my little one has been waiting for therapist. It looks like I will be going somewhere else.

Not that they evaluated him and can't help with care. Not that there is an insurance or other holdup (full coverage under United). But that they can't even SEE him for an evaluation. We are not living in the middle of nowhere. We are in the Denver metro area and about a mile from the pediatrician who referred us to Solace, and who has used them for other clients in the same area. I can't begin to express how frustrated and disappointed I am with this company. Screenshots are coming, and a breakdown of how this whole process went is below. We were already extremely frustrated with how long it was taking for them to get us in for an eval, but for them to come back after a full month and say he can't be seen AT ALL for no specific reason (they don't even know anything about him, and it is certainly not a location or insurance issue) is absolutely unacceptable. Do not trust this company to help your family. We were referred at his 18 month appointment and it has taken a full month for them to tell us they can't see him. This is a crucial stage of his development with speech etc., and it is truly very crucial time that they cost us. If they would have said from day 1 that they couldn't see him for an eval that is one thing, but the level of frustration on losing a whole month and not even being able to get an evaluation is unreal. We were referred at his 18 month appointment. Didn't hear anything for a week, finally followed up and they didn't have the referral. Maybe it wasn't sent as we were told, no huge deal, these things take some time. Week 1 - We call them to follow up, they say they don't have the referral. Pediatrician resends it, we are told they will reach out in a week to set something up. Week 2 - They get ahold of us and ask for scheduling preferences. We specifically stay from the start Thursday would be ideal but any day works and we can be flexible. They say thank you, we will get ahold of you in a week Week 3 - They get back to us again, saying "Sorry, we can't find anyone for Thursdays, do any other days work?" Frustration is starting to build, because we said from the start any other days work and that Thursday would have just been best. Say the same thing again. They say "We will be in touch for a week." Week 4 - Hear back from them again, saying the SAME THING. We can't find anyone for Thursdays, do any other days work? Tell them again with more patience lost that we told them from the very beginning that we would make any day work. They tell us again, we will get back to you in a week. Week 5, today - They reach out and tell us they are unable to find anyone to meet our son for an eval at any time, any day, after wasting 4 full weeks that we could have been looking for another provider We are both pretty understanding, and we were being patient and understanding with the process until Week 3 when they said once again they can't find anyone for Thursdays, when we had told them from the very beginning any day works. But for them to come back after all of this crucial time is wasted and tell us there is nobody who can do an eval on any day, any time, at any location, is absolutely unacceptable Do not trust this company. Do not rely on them. You are much better off finding someone else from the beginning. I will update this post when we find someone to help and give our recommendation Also, a quick note, they finally said they could do speech therapy sessions remotely. With an 18-month old. I am far from opposed to e-meetings, I run a remote business and do them all the time. But for them to think this is an acceptable (and worthwhile of the cost to us) solution for an 18 month old BABY who can't even sit still for Facetime with family is honestly pretty hilarious. Would have thought they could have found a better solution after a month, but here we are I guess.
