Great work. Very competitive price. Highly recommend

Francisco is great! Professional, hard-working, and very nice. Would definitely recommend him!

Damian was referred to me by a good friend. He was responsive - called me back right away and was easy to book the first appointment with. He quickly assessed our job, got on the roof and saw a few other areas we were unaware of, snapped a few photos, emailed me an easy to understand quote right away. Answered my follow up questions, got to the job in good time. His worker showed up on time, was very polite and friendly. Explained things when we had questions. All and all a great experience. Thank you Damian! Dory read more

To say they did excellent work would be an understatemrnt. They made sure the repairs were thorough replacing rotting wood and clearing debris. They even matched my existing shingles. Quick response, great price and great work. read more

I just had my roof done which was a total tear off. From beginning to end it was a smooth process . We had a few minor glitches, but they were quickly addressed and resolved. Lily in the office, Dominik, the project manager and Damian who I believe is the owner were all wonderful and very responsive to any inquiries or concerns., My house is on a property with hardly and yard on any side of it and up close and personal with the neighbors. TAR did a wonderful job of carting the debris off the premises as they worked and were meticulous in cleaning the yard and my neighbor's each day. After the initial installation, a few minor items needed additional attention and a crew was dispatched the next day to address them. I have a number of properties and TAR was one of the very best companies I have dealt with for any project.. Also, their pricing was very competitive as I received five estimates before contracting with them. read more

I had a hard time finding anyone to come out for such a small project like gutters on a garage, but late Saturday I looked on Yelp and reached out to TAR and Damien was very responsive and showed up and gave me a quote that same day because I live in the area he was able to show up and less than 30 minutes which I was really impressed. Price was a little bit higher than I expected but with someone that responsive and able to do the work in such quick turn around I was completely satisfied and looking forward to starting another project with some siding.... read more

I contacted TAR regarding a roof repair. Damien called me back and came out to my house on a Saturday to look at my roof. He gave me an estimate of 500.00 and said the work would be done by the end of the week. The repair was completed as he indicated and the individual who completed the work told what he did before he left. My impression is this is an honest company and I would certainly recommend them to anyone. read more

Called TAR Restoration and Damien got back to me very quickly. They came out the next day to assess the damaged roof, gave us detailed repair information and quote and then came out to fix within two days after that!! And all before more storms were expected. We would not hesitate to contact again for exterior home restoration/repairs, and would highly recommend to anyone seeking such services. Cleaned up everything. Price was very fair. read more

This company was incredible to work with. They provided realistic estimates for the job and were very timely in the start and completion of my new roof. Damian and Francisco were very kind, personable, professional, timely, efficient, and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend hiring them for your next job. read more

I called to get an estimate. The woman I spoke to was very nice and we agreed upon a Saturday in a week a half. Four days before the scheduled estimate, I was told that the 2 people who give the estimates NOW could not come as scheduled. I could book a later date. But Saturday's were hard to get. I respectfully declined to do business with them. read more

Great service...after searching for a roofing company, numerous calls to various companies and coming up empty handed, calls not returned and appointments not kept from other companies I finally called T.A.R. Restoration. Damian was everything I was looking for in a contractor, Polite, Professional,Reliable and Trustworthy. I called mid day and Damian was working in a nearby suburb and came out that same evening to assess the wind damage done to my houses roof, gutters, and fence. Damian was very thorough in helping me understand what needed to be done and explained the entire repair process. Damian scheduled the repair, applied for the necessary permits at our village, had the materials delivered and kept me informed the whole time. During the repair Damians crew discovered mold on my roof due to improper ventilation in my attic, mold isn't covered by my insurance company especially since it wasn't related to the wind damage. Damian gave me a fair price to replace the molding roof panels and saved me lots of $$ by doing it during the roof repair...not to mention the damage undetected mold could have caused to my families health, his crew also corrected the ventilation issues in the attic to prevent further mold growth. I highly recommend T.A.R. Restoration to anyone looking for an honest easy to work with contractor, Damian will not disappoint. read more

Damian was very responsive and did a great job at a fair price. I would highly recommend.

Excellent Service from start to finish. Had a leak coming into our house from a large sky light and they found where this could happen in the future around the chimney as well. Repaired the area and around the chimney to prevent future problems. Professional service and a very fair quote. Another quote was double! Glad we went with this great company! read more

I think I have a new best friend, and it's Damian at TAR Restoration. We are hoping to buy a house and needed an inspection and estimate on the roof. Damian responded quickly, came out on a Saturday to do the estimate, and then took the time to explain the estimate to me over the weekend. He revised his estimate when I needed some additional information included. Through it all, he's just about the nicest guy I've ever dealt with. Roofs are expensive and stressful and I don't know anything about them, but Damian and TAR Restoration have really, really helped. Can't wait to update my review after the work is done! read more

TAR rebuilt our front porch roof and gutter system. It was half the price the competition was charging with a superior design. All around a great experience. read more

Damian and the team came through for our building in a pinch. Did great work in an expedited amount of time.

Found this company while driving down the street and seeing "working" signs on a lawn. When we called we were attended to immediately. Damian explained what he would do in great detail. When we had permit issues we were going to miss getting on the schedule to get out work done, he still managed to get us on even though we thought it was going to be pushed back. The crew came on time and worked neatly and quickly. Asked questions to ensure we were happy. Damian is a class act and even gave me a reference on a job he did not do, and the person he sent was just as professional. Wonderful to work with!!! Will use again. read more

We dealt with Damian. He was very professional. They did a great job. I would highly recommend TAR Restoration.

These guys did a great job. The work was done well, fast, and at a very fair price. I couldn't be happier with the results.

Damian at TAR is excellent, fast prompt and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend. I've used them twice already and when my roof needs to be replaced they will be my first call. read more

Very professional and responsible. We had trouble finding someone to repair our wooden soffit and fascia but TAR was up to it. Though we had some initial problems with the gutter replacement, they were willing to return promptly at no cost to insure that everything was done properly. Good people, attentive. read more

I called Tar Restoration after a windstorm knocked off 10 sq feet of the shingles on my roof. Tar Restoration came and assessed the damage. Other roofers I called gave me the run around. Tar Restoration repaired my roof promptly (which was reassuring because the weather report called for a few upcoming rain/snow storms). The price Tar Restoration gave was also fair and reasonable. I referred my neighbor and he also used their services. read more

We had some shingles come off our roof this past spring and needed a roofer. I received 2 estimates, and the one from Damien was higher. However, when I told him the other price, he quoted me below their price. We chose Damien and his guy was quick to get the job done. We were really happy with their work. The icing on the cake was when we received a thank you note and Starbucks gift card a few weeks later. We will most certainly use TAR Restoration if we need work done moving forward. read more

Damian and his crew did a great job. They were able to complete the entire roof shingle removal and replacement in one day. They also took the time to ensure everything was cleaned up and hauled away with almost no trace of them being there. I would definitely recommend. read more

Damian and his team were great. The job ended up costing more than the initial quote but Damian stayed true to his word and only charged us what he quoted. Will definitely use TAR again for future roof projects. read more

i had to update my review because these guys are seriously the best in the business. they already had 5 stars from me for the work they had previously done, but when i had another leak, these guys were relentless in making sure i was satisfied and any concerns were addressed. damian and crew are punctual, diligent with your issues, well priced, and the best work around! seriously cannot recommend them enough! read more

TAR can to give a quote on removing skylights and replacing or sealing another one. They were on time and provided a quote with break out pricing for the options we requested. Once we finalized the options we were put on the schedule. Again they showed up when they said the would and for the work done in one day. Doesn't seem like a big deal but in my 12 years in Chicago this is the first contractor to show up on Time and complete the work as the commutes to. Excellent from start to finish. read more

Our roof needed to be replaced, and we could wait no longer. After getting several estimates, we settled on TAR Restoration - very glad we did! Damian was great to work with and very responsive to our many questions. His crew were efficient hard-workers who got the job done within 2 days and cleaned up well. Any issues we had, Damian & his crew were quick to address them. Their rates were fairly comparable to other estimates we got, but their service & excellent work set them apart. They made the whole process as painless as could be, and our new roof has been looking & functioning great. read more

I have received a phone call from TAR Restoration a few minutes after posting the original review. The gentleman was rather apologetic instead of defensive and offered a discount and later a referral. The referred company did the job on the same day. While I have concerns about how the job was done at the end of the day and that I needed to write a negative review to get attention, TAR Restoration acted more responsibly after registering the customer feedback. I did not accept the offered discount. read more

I called Damian from TAR Restoration to replace my roof due to wind damage. He was professional and knowledgeable. I received my estimate, and he helped me with the insurance paperwork. I didn't have to worry about anything. We had severe weather during the week, and instead of the original timeline of 3-5 days, he came in with a team of around 10 very hard-working roofers, and completed the roof in 1 day. Every day I receive compliments on how great the roof looks and the workmanship. I highly recommend them. read more
