When the procedure was done, and I paid my bill, Dr. Whitley walked back his comment and said I might lose that tooth in the near future. I felt I was deceived by him. Finally, Teresa in billing kept filing my insurance incorrectly and it took months to get my claim. I kept telling her she was using the wrong address but I could tell she just did not care about my claim. They don't take insurance but as a courtesy will file your claim and I appreciate that. However, my time and energy have been wasted on several occasions by the front desk staff to the point that I am choosing a different dental office to visit. Two of my appointments in the past few months were cancelled within 48 hours. This is extremely unprofessional. I have 3 cleanings per year through Delta Dental. I was told on two separate appointments by Aspen Dental staff that I owed out of pocket for these cleanings, which I know is not true. This time, I was told that I needed to wait 30-45 calendar days for Aspen Dental to verify my insurance. As soon as I called Delta Dental, they confirmed that this could be confirmed online within 30 seconds. I waited on a 3 way call for Aspen Dental to figure out my plan on their end and they couldn't do it after 20 minutes on the phone. It seemed like laziness to me. Delta Dental staff confirmed with me that this issue should not be happening. It seemed like this was Aspen Dental's first day in dealing with insurance so I took my service elsewhere
