    5 for $6 to-go

I've been to a lot of taco trucks. And I've had a lot of street tacos in my life. A LOT. Yet this is one of the best ones I've ever had! On a Saturday night, I was craving pastor tacos so my boyfriend and I drove out to Taquitos Mexico because it was the closest taco truck to us. We both got the 5 for $6 deal. I got pastor tacos and he got asada tacos. My oh my... they were sooo freakin good!!! The meat was cooked perfectly and was full of flavor. they were topped with onions, cilantro, and grilled onions. I love that they weren't as oily as other places too. The tortillas were soft and did not break apart. We also got a large horchata but that wasn't too special. I really wanted to try the elotes! Right after we finished our plate, my bf immediately said he wanted more. Guess we have to get him double next time haha. We can't wait to be back and get more tacos and elotes! Maybe try other items too!

This is the spot for mini tacos! I got the asada tacos and split a quesadilla! Those tacos didn't last 5 min before they were devoured!

Serious legit tacos. I got a 5 taco plate with fajita chicken (8/10), carne asado (9+/10) and chorizo (10/10). It was a fair amount to eat but I could t stop they were addicting little buggers. My son had the chicken quesadilla and he said he rated it 8-9/10. He devoured it. I also got a mango agua Fresca. There were little pieces of mango you would catch in sips and let you know it was real mango in there. Seriously good. This is a food truck and it is about a block away from where google has it because they moved. There is room to park on dirt and it is in front of an ice cream shop. There were several people waiting for their food and was busy but not overly so. It took about 10-15 minutes and they made it to order. I highly suggest this place if you want some great tacos.

This food truck is truly a gem. For a long time I always drove past it saying one day I'll try. A few months ago my wife and I tried them and been going back every time we have an itch for tacos. Wife always gets the order of 5 Mini tacos, I've tried the asada, Al pastor, and Campechanos. The asada and Campechanos are freaking delicious! The Campechanos are asada with chorizo. If your wanting to go inexpensive yet get delicious food, this food truck will not disappoint. They take cash and card which is awesome, with no minimum purchase required Update: Tried the al pastor and they were Damn tasty!

    Takeout tacos Al pastor...love!

We're all friends here, right? Can we taco 'bout something?? Sooo...bikini season is right around the corner (does it ever really leave us here in TX??), But...y'all... SO IS THE TACO TRUCK!! What a predicament! Seriously folks - best tacos in town!! Best tacos PLUS in town, actually - the quesadillas are also fab, and the aguas frescas will blow your eff'n mind too. Taquitos Mexico would 137% be my Taco Tuesday go-to, even it wasn't mere steps from my home... Swimsuit bod?? Meh. Who needs that kind of pressure/negativity in their life?? "Inhale tacos. Exhale negativity" is WAY more my style :) Generally, tacos Al pastor are. my. jam. Here at Taquitos Mexico Al pastor is not my favorite though (saucy. No pineapple.) Still really good, just not best on the menu - carne asada though? Or chicken fajita? Hooollllly cow/fowl!! Those little pockets of corn-swathed goodness are ahhhhmazing! The deals are just as awesome as the tacos - I regularly get their largest plate (5 tacos)which comes with a side of charro beans and a drink. Substituting an agua fresca from next door (agua? More like 5 mangoes were shoved in a blender and poured into my cup...ooh la la!) at Las Nieves brings your total to a "whopping" 8 bucks... Can't beat it!

I drove from Woodlawn and it was worth the drive. We got 4 trays of asada tacos and an asada quesadilla. My daughter loved the cheesy meaty goodness (her words not mine) and we dove right in and forgot to take pics until it was almost too late. We got our garnish on the side so each person could make them how they like and it was delicious. Simple and filling. We will certainly be back. The late hours help too!

I saw this place on Yelp and was impressed with the photos and ratings. We ordered the 5 Taquitos plate. We got two asada, one carnitas and one chicken quesadilla. We ordered the cilantro, onions & grilled onions on the side. On the drive home I could smell these amazing aroma coming from the bag. This place didn't disappoint!! Their prices have gone up to $7.00 but still worth it. Support small businesses! We will definitely be back! We also got two small cups of chai beans. They were so good I ate them and forgot to take a picture. Next time!

Great spot for on-the-go authentic Mexican food on wheels with a great mini selection to fill anyone's needs. A bit busy at times, but the service is quick! I had 5 mini tacos ( they weren't shiesty ) 3 were chicken fajita, & 2 Carnes with a ice refreshing Coca Cola de México

That's exactly the energy at Los Weyes de la Asada. From the second you walk up, it feels alive. Not in a forced way, more like you've been there before, even if it's your first time. The kind of place where your stress, your diet, even your cruda takes a backseat. Now the food. No overthinking needed here. Everything coming out of that truck is a straight up pow pow of flavor. The carne is cooked just right, juicy with that perfect char, and the corn tortillas are legit, soft but with enough structure to hold everything together. I ordered the Mamón and the Chingón, and honestly, both lived up to the names. No misses. And the agua fresca de fresa? That sealed it. They serve it in a little bolsita, which somehow makes it hit even better. Simple, nostalgic, and just cool. Boudros was highly recommended by friends, and was the first restaurant on our list to dine in during our recent visit. We arrived at the restaurant on a Thursday around 7:45 pm and were told by a young Hostess that no walk-ins were allowed until after 9 pm. We decided to modify our itinerary and instead had dinner at a different restaurant on the riverwalk, and made a reservation for Boudros online for the following evening. When we arrived the following evening for our reservation at 7.30 pm, we were escorted to a small table in the bar that was next to the entrance to a small room. The area was noisy with a lot of foot traffic. We asked for a table in a quieter room and were moved to a room in the back of the restaurant where it was easier to have a conversation. A few minutes later our waiter, Stephen, approached the table. We asked him for drink recommendations and among others he recommended the "Prickly Pear Margarita". I ordered the Prickly Pear Margarita, and we also ordered the tableside Guacamole. The restaurant was busy, but there were several empty tables in our dining area. After about 15 to 20 minutes, the waiter brought our drinks. The Prickly Pear Margarita I received was not even close to the description on the menu. The ice was melted and it tasted like Fruit Punch with alcohol in a martini glass. A few minutes later, Stephen approached our table with the Guacamole cart. There were pieces of onions and cilantro all over the dirty table cloth on the cart. He prepared the Guacamole in front of us and it looked very unappealing. We watched as he added an excessive amount of diced onions and cilantro. Being a connoisseur of Guacamole, and making my own for most of my life, it was obvious that Stephen had not been trained well in how to make Guacamole. After he mixed the sliced avocados, the diced onions and cilantro, he wiped the edge of the stone tray with a dirty cloth. The onions and cilantro over powered the taste of the avocado. Later that evening, Stephen brought a very fancy drink for a customer sitting next to us. The drink looked like frozen lime juice with line of frozen strawberry and a nice scoop of frozen lime juice on top. I asked Stephen for the name of that drink, and he replied that it was the same drink that I had ordered. I asked why it looked so different and he muttered something about it being the end of the batch and then said "I'm not the Bartender". He blamed the Bartender for making the terrible drink, and made no effort to correct the problem. Later Stephen returned with our dinner, and as he approached our table, he ordered my wife to "move your glass!" Needless to say she was quite taken aback at his abrupt manner with no please or thank-you. In all the staff did not have a very good demeanor and were very sullen and grumpy. Even asking for directions to the bathroom barely elicited a glance and the needed information. Maybe the staff was overworked because of the number of visitors for the Fiesta, but the terrible, over-priced food, did not make up for the unhappy staff, and we do not plan to return.
