Lots of food at a great price. The burritos are more than plenty for a meal. The guacamole was very good.

I had the Garlic Butter Sizzling Prawns, see picture. Shrimp, vegetables, and cheese. It wasn't bad at all. Everything was well cooked and taste as it should. The staff were friendly and attentive, the place felt nice and inviting. The one big drawback is the price. I found that for what it is the price of everything was very high. One star deducted for that. Would I recommend it? Sure? Give it a go

I'm from Southern California so I know Mexican food. There is not a large Mexican population in London to provide the kind of authentic menus like you will find in London Indian restaurants. But after days of pub food, Indian and Italian we decided to give it a try. This is a nicely decorated little restaurant with a nice attentive staff. Was the food different from what we were used to? Yes, but it was very tasty. My wife had chicken tacos served on a large platter with separate portions to build your own taco. They had Mexican rice but no refried or black beans or lettuce for the tacos. The tacos were hard shell. I had fajitas and they were very good but served without a side of rice. The portions were very large. If you are in Pimlico, close to Victoria station, give it a try

I quickly became a regular as frankly, there's nothing bad on the menu but some things are just really exceptional. For one, the chicken tinga is the best I've had - period. It's slow cooked with slices of chorizo and is so flavourful it's unbelievable. Just thinking about it now is making my mouth water. The pulled pork is also really good and is right up there with my favourites anywhere - you can tell that they haven't just dumped the same spice mix on both - and although they don't advertise it, they're more than happy to give you a half and half if you want both. But their burritos are more than just that - they make their own guacamole and it's just brilliant, and something I don't normally praise at a Mexican place - the salad accompaniments are also really good. The cabbage slaw is a particular favourite and goes really well with the pork. Their hot sauces are also made in house and the chipotle one is just awesome. This area has an over abundance of Mexican burrito places now with three within a few minutes walk - but the fact that you will have to queue for at least five minutes to get served at Santana Grill is a testiment of the quality that they produce. If you're like me and don't want to try to eat a messy burrito at your desk then you can get it in a box too - and trust me, they don't skimp on the portions!! I've eaten at quite a few different Mexican places around London and I rate Santana Grill and Daddy Donkey as the two very best.

They do take RSVP's but I walked in and got seated immediately at 630 pm. Overall I thought the Wahaca for one was good. Just the right amount of food. The Paloma was below average. But I will come back. The chicken taco had just the right spice and the beef gringo taco was the perfect counter balance. Its worth a meal if you haven't tried it. Not a true Texźmex but close.

It was either a 3 or 4, but after, it was a toss up between 4 and 5 So here goes, I've been here before with ex-girlfriend about four or five years ago and really enjoyed myself. I like the food. It was reasonably priced. The atmosphere was quite nice and it was a friendly, buzzing kind of place where you don't get rushed. So after a crap start if the week, but a good finish on the Friday I decided to treat myself, especially after seeing the 'Wahacha for One' advertised outside. Second impression's, very good staff, nice atmosphere, shown to a seat of my choice, as I was eating on my own, waitress very helpful and friendly all good so far... The Meal - OK so I have a little, but only a little gripe about it, it was on the small side, 3 taco's would have been better, however the food was very tasty and well presented. The Taco's ( beef, and pork) were very tasty, bit of a gripe about the Nachos and dips, there wasn't much of either dip but were both tasty but the nachos were a bit meh, overly flat and a bit too crispy, however the rest of the meal, a Taquito, was tasty. Ordered a beer which made a good a accompaniment. After the Wahacha for One the waitress came over to see if I wanted anything else and whilst chatting with her I said half jokingly, "I'm just in the middle of rating your restaurant" so....she asked me what I thought, especially about the size of the WFO (Wahacha for One) and was also kind enough to offer me a desert on the house, and also kind enough, when I asked to make a recommendation, to pick a desert that was the best part of the meal, dunno what it was called but it was like the Mexican version of Tiramisu, but much better, more substance , better texture and more subtle flavours to it. Also, took the opportunity to chat with the manager to congratulate her on her staff who were really nice, friendly, helpful , and attentive, and then I finished off with a very nice latte. Overall, excluding the size of the meal, it was a good experience, it has a nice atmosphere, very nice staff and I will be coming back. Only other gripe was that Wahacha is cash only. This is something that IMHO is not really made super obvious. Now I know everyone, even me, are mad about the convenience of Apple Pay etc, but it's not a great idea for society as whole to depend on contactless payment only because it allow the state almost limitless powers to snoop. and they will, on your spending habits, it will be a bit like the Chinese Social Credit System, but in time, by piecemeal, the state will do this, so not majorly keen for cashless premises' but that's about it for the moans so due to the excellent service from the door guy to the waitress and the manager, I would have to rate |Wahacha a 4.6 stars which I will (charitably) round up to 5* but a bit more (extra Taco, nicer nachos, and bigger dips) with the Wahacha for One would be a great idea to make it a more filling, better value meal, but it was a very enjoyable meal and evening.

We shared a big plate of taco ingredients and tortillas. It was all very good and the good news is that with the variety there was something everyone liked. The space was chill and upscale while also feeling trendy. The drinks were also nice, mostly margaritas. In the end, nothing really stood out enough for me to remember or come back for if I wasn't in the area, but it would probably make my easy list of places that won't disappoint near the office.

Unfortunately, Mestizo charges per person and the minimum and maximum is two for this item So I couldn't order for one without paying forty dollars , and I'd be damned to pay that much. Having this rule is ridiculous. I've never been to a Mexican restaurant forcing you to order something that can easily be portioned to one. I ordered a marinated chicken with rice and beans. The beans were out of this world. Such a unique flavor I definitely was not accustomed to in the states. The rice was unfortunately bland. The chicken was marinated in this red sauce and was tasty for the most part. However , when I made my way to the center it became dry and had a weird taste. If you're gonna order this dish, proceed with caution. The dessert really outshined and redeemed my visit somewhat. I ordered the tres leches cake. This dessert is basically like a Mexican version of sticky toffee pudding. There are many overlapping factors. One key difference is tres leches uses a milk and cinnamon base , so it kind of tastes like a horchata cake.
