Considering the portion sizes and proteins, these were a great value for what we got! You also get a complimentary basket of chips at the beginning with an actually spicy green salsa. The interior and exterior of the restaurant are nice. I liked seeing the display of news articles about this restaurant displayed. The service here was great as well. Our server mainly spoke Spanish, but that wasn't a problem since I spoke a little bit and he was very attentive. Overall, a great experience here. To make matters worse, when I went to pay, I had already been waiting in line for quite some time. The cashier chose to help another customer before me, and when I pointed it out, his response was simply, "I didn't even notice." It felt dismissive and added to an already disappointing visit. As someone who has supported this restaurant for years, this was one of the worst experiences I've had here. I mean it was not something we could or would want to eat. We trashed it all the minute we got home--we did not want to be rude so we had them pack what was left, which was most of it and tossed it.
