Every time I'm back in town, it's one of my go-to spots for Mexican food. It's the kind of place where you can sit down, relax, and really enjoy good food while catching up with friends and family. I usually come by for lunch, and it never disappoints. My go-to order is the beef and chicken flautas, which always come out crispy and flavorful, served with rice and beans that hit the spot every time. And I have to mention the horchata, it's sooo good, especially with that small ice they serve it with. It just tastes extra refreshing and perfectly complements the meal. On the weekends, I switch it up and go for the menudo, which is always satisfying and something I genuinely look forward to. It's one of those comfort dishes that keeps me coming back. I also really appreciate the little things, like the free chips and salsa they bring out. It's a simple touch, but it adds to the overall experience. The restaurant itself has a nice, welcoming atmosphere, and the service is consistently great; friendly, attentive, and always making you feel taken care of. Overall, Jenny's Cafe is more than just a restaurant to me, it's a place full of good memories, great food, and a reason to keep coming back whenever I'm in town.

This was 2 minutes off the 99 and so I called ahead for a machaca burrito cut in half to share. I pulled up and the decor was cute and it was very clean inside. We were back on our way in less than 5 minutes. The burrito was delicious. The balance of meat, egg, bell pepper, onion, potato & cheese were perfect. The salsa is very tasty and you can tell that it is homemade. The only complaint to keep it from being 5 stars was that it was a little oily. Also a great value. Support this small local business.

This is a no frills type place but it's clean and organized. On this particular day I ordered the following: 1. Birria Pizza (roughly $21 or so) it includes 12oz of consume. Two oversized flour tortilla stuffed with tender, beef birria and cheese) then grilled like a quesadilla. Topped with (which I got on the side) diced white onions, chopped cilantro, pickled red onions and drizzled with a vibrant "green sauce" which was creamy (an emulsified salsa verde taquera) and a fiery red sauce which was significantly spicer than the green and limes on the side. And the consume to dip your pizza birria in. The consume is served piping hot and is so flavorful. This is the broth in which the birria was cooked in. This is my favorite thing to order at Tacos Humildes. 2. Mexican Rice (roughly $4.50). Rice was pretty standard, nothing memorable. But I definitely felt the price-point was off. I received about 9 oz of rice. A bit overpriced for an inexpensive food item. Rice is a few cents on the dollar and really inexpensive to prepare, so almost $5.00 is ridiculous. The restaurant has plenty of indoor seating and AC works great. The cashier, Diana was also prepared the food. She was super friendly and really engaging. I do recommend this local small business for their Pizza Birria. Additionally, Diana informed me that on the weekends, Taco Humildes sets up their taco truck in McFarland.
