My bestfriend took me here for the first time and OMG I was beyond impressed with the food. I ordered a carne asada torta and it was the BEST I've ever had! These tacos are legit. This is the only awesome place to eat here in Delano when you have that late night cravings I believe they stay open til midnight on the weekends. I get their carne asada tacos, they serve them on the tiny tacos but they fill it with so much meat you can make 2 tacos out of the 1! They have a self serve salsa and fixings station. I had a long drive from LA to Fresno and needed some food to hold me over on the way up. After checking Yelp for good Mexican food this place caught my eye. The stop resulted in a new halfway mandatory food stop. Being a mile off the freeway I was a little hesitant but figured that if it seemed sketchy that I could always turn around. I parked and walked in through the gate of a plant nursery and it smelled delicious. The sign on the truck said $5 burritos and $1 tacos. I went with a carne asada burrito and then grabbed all 3 salsas, some pickled jalapeños, and a cilantro onion mix. Tried this place out recently and all i can say is this place is hyped up way to much and yes i am a local ive eaten at the majority of restaurants the city has to offer we purchased asada and cabeza tacos we also purchased tortas and all i can say is the food had no flavor very very bland i think people come here because tacos are only a 1.50 might be a good place if your drunk and want cheap tacos to try and sober up remember you get what you pay for that's definitely the case here. read more

I have heard nothing but good things about this place, so I decided to give it a try and I am a little disappointed. I decided to get the tacos de cabeza since those are my favorite and they were reasonably priced but sadly they were not good at all! They were not seasoned in the slightest, not even salt. I had to go home and season them myself since they lacked so much flavor. The next day, I was not feeling that well and barely ate anything just to end up feeling like a truck hit me. The cool thing here is that they accept cards. So, if you don't carry cash, don't worry. They also have quesadillas and other items on their menu. However, I just come here for the tacos. The fact that they open late, they stay open later. They are closed on Mondays but they're open the rest of the week. They open at 5pm everyday but they close around 11 pm or 12am. This place is legit! $1.00 tacos with a full salsa bar. We had the carne asada tacos, asada quesadilla and horchata. The green salsa had some heat but it was delicious! It was 8:30 p.m on a Thursday night and the place had a steady line of happy customers that kept coming for these delicious tacos! The tacos have double tortillas and are overflowing with meat. They should be charging more per taco for as much meat as they put in each taco. We will definitely make this a permanent lunch/dinner stop every time we pass through Delano! read more

A hidden gem at Delano! $1 tacos, hello I'm there. Carne Asada is so good. None of the fatty, all meat. Also tried their Torta, love it. The bread is not as thick as La Barca, which is great. Because you get more meat than carbs. The nieces loved the cheese quesadilla, it was the size of a full plate. The do have a seating area with a canopy tent to block out the sun. They usually set up shop at around 5pm and go until they run out. I've come as late as midnight on a weekend to get my fix. My favorites are the tripas, pastor, & buche tacos.
