$1.5 a street taco and $7.50 a torta. The tacos are good and served quickly. The food truck is parked in a dirt patch and there's only a few seats to choose from. Good spot overall for tacos for takeout. I also ordered a Jamaica which I really liked. Not too sweet and not too tart. Will definitely be back when we're back in Delano. read more

Amazing prices and really satisfying. Although the prices did go up, it's still really affordable. read more

I was born and raised here in Delano and I now live in Las Vegas for over 10 years. I always brag about Delano's Mexican food. My bestfriend took me here for the first time and OMG I was beyond impressed with the food. I ordered a carne asada torta and it was the BEST I've ever had! The meat was so tender, juicy and very tasty. The price is very reasonable and worth every penny! This taco truck is located off county line road. Enjoy! read more

These tacos are legit. This is the only awesome place to eat here in Delano when you have that late night cravings I believe they stay open til midnight on the weekends. I get their carne asada tacos, they serve them on the tiny tacos but they fill it with so much meat you can make 2 tacos out of the 1! They have a self serve salsa and fixings station. I love all 3 of the salsas especially the creamy green one! The tacos, mulitas, and quesadillas are all so so good! read more

Good tacos for cheap. A good spot to hit up for those late night cravings. I like the tacos, burritos and tortas. The asada and tripas are good for me. Had the cabeza and it wasn't as good as other places I've had them. The Al pastor was ok. I suggest to just stick to the asada. read more

I had a long drive from LA to Fresno and needed some food to hold me over on the way up. After checking Yelp for good Mexican food this place caught my eye. The stop resulted in a new halfway mandatory food stop. Being a mile off the freeway I was a little hesitant but figured that if it seemed sketchy that I could always turn around. I parked and walked in through the gate of a plant nursery and it smelled delicious. The sign on the truck said $5 burritos and $1 tacos. I went with a carne asada burrito and then grabbed all 3 salsas, some pickled jalapeños, and a cilantro onion mix. The burrito was a good size and a great deal for the price and all the salsas were great! Definitely hitting this place up on my next trip down south or back up north. read more

Tried this place out recently and all i can say is this place is hyped up way to much and yes i am a local ive eaten at the majority of restaurants the city has to offer we purchased asada and cabeza tacos we also purchased tortas and all i can say is the food had no flavor very very bland i think people come here because tacos are only a 1.50 might be a good place if your drunk and want cheap tacos to try and sober up remember you get what you pay for that's definitely the case here. read more

Best cabeza tacos! They're carne asada tacos are also delicious. The carne asada meat is tender and never greasy. They have s veggie bar with cucumber, rabanos, pickled onion, onion/cilantro, and three types of salsas. They are have aguas frescas: horchata, Jamaica, limon, and sometimes tamarindo. My husband's go to is the carne asada mulita. It's a quesadilla mixed with meat inside corn tortillas. So good! read more

Tacos El Primo - Can't go wrong with late night tacos! - Food Trucks Near Me - Delano, California

This small establishment built on wheels, located at the end of town had some pretty good tacos. They do have outdoor seatings available which is convenient since not very many taco truck stands have any seatings. Ok, lets 'TACO' bout it (i had to lol); The tacos were very good, I had the El pastor which was pretty darn good considering the price! At $1 a piece, flavor packs a punch without hitting your wallet. I've been to several taco stands in LA and they typically range from $2.50+ a piece depending on which type of meat you get. I also tried the Asada burrito--that too was delicious, rather small, but big on flavors!. This was my first time trying out this place (suggested by my cousin), I am glad to have tried out this place. Oh, get this.. they also have FREE HORCHATA! $7 bucks on 2 tacos and a burrito? They do accept credit cards but they charge 50 cents for it, no biggie! Also, they close pretty late, so those of you who have late cravings.. ( yes you!), this is the place to go! read more

I have heard nothing but good things about this place, so I decided to give it a try and I am a little disappointed. I decided to get the tacos de cabeza since those are my favorite and they were reasonably priced but sadly they were not good at all! They were not seasoned in the slightest, not even salt. I had to go home and season them myself since they lacked so much flavor. The next day, I was not feeling that well and barely ate anything just to end up feeling like a truck hit me. I got SO sick from this place. I'm so disappointed Bc so many people love this place but sadly, I'm gonna have to pass. read more

Food is awesome here I would definitely recommend it. Try the mulitas you won't regret it and try some of their horchata!

This place is legit! $1.00 tacos with a full salsa bar. We had the carne asada tacos, asada quesadilla and horchata. The green salsa had some heat but it was delicious! It was 8:30 p.m on a Thursday night and the place had a steady line of happy customers that kept coming for these delicious tacos! The tacos have double tortillas and are overflowing with meat. They should be charging more per taco for as much meat as they put in each taco. We will definitely make this a permanent lunch/dinner stop every time we pass through Delano! read more

Moved to Bakersfield last year and still come up here for their tacos and Fortas. 10/10. Consistent great taste. The best there is.

$1 for every taco choice. Asada, pastor, tripas, buche, chorizo, cabeza, & lengua. What a steal! $2 mulitas which are also great. Free horchata as well. Great condiment setup as well. Condiments always seem fresh and flavorful. Be sure to try the pickled onions with the habenero/jalapeños. The avocado salsa is by far the best. They usually set up shop at around 5pm and go until they run out. I've come as late as midnight on a weekend to get my fix. My favorites are the tripas, pastor, & buche tacos. Also the pastor mulitas. For the value this is by far 5 stars. They even take cards if you don't have cash on you. read more

A hidden gem at Delano! $1 tacos, hello I'm there. Carne Asada is so good. None of the fatty, all meat. Also tried their Torta, love it. The bread is not as thick as La Barca, which is great. Because you get more meat than carbs. The nieces loved the cheese quesadilla, it was the size of a full plate. The do have a seating area with a canopy tent to block out the sun. They stay open till 12am. read more

I love tacos. And if there is a chance to pay for $1 tacos, I will take it. The tacos are small, but cheaper than the average. Long lines are just the cons of this place since it is a popular place, that can't be changed. Overall, great tasting and cheap tacos! read more

This is by far, the best tacos in Delano. I'm sure a bunch of people may think otherwise. Their al pastor is delicious. I always gets carne asada and al pastor tacos. The cool thing here is that they accept cards. So, if you don't carry cash, don't worry. They also have quesadillas and other items on their menu. However, I just come here for the tacos. The fact that they open late, they stay open later. They are closed on Mondays but they're open the rest of the week. They open at 5pm everyday but they close around 11 pm or 12am. They have a tent so customers can eat comfortably. There are a few tables and chairs. I definitely recommend this place. read more

Best tacos and only $1 each!!??!! The Cabesa and lengua are the best in town. If you're going, get there early

Good tacos. Wait is super long. I recommend calling ahead even though you have to order 30 or more dollars worth of food. More seating would be nice and also the lady need to be nicer. Location is a bit out of the way but it is one of the best setups I've been to. I believe it's on private property, truck looked clean, and workers matched. Food came out fast and they had the standard options. Asada was cut up too much which made me think I was eating ground beef tacos. Meat was tender. Chorizo was ok. Tortillas were not impressive. Location was a solid A. Food was an acceptable B. read more
