We had the carnitas taco, Baja mahi taco, shrimp taco, brisket taco and the enchilada trio. Rice was good- beans were spicy. Refried beans not as spicy so that's an option. We ordered the gorilla sticks. They were okay, but I'd probably skip those next time. I got the taco plate with a birria taco and consomé, carnitas taco, and roasted chicken taco. The carnitas and chicken tacos were really good. I'd definitely skip the birria though. It wasn't traditional birria, and the consomé was just gross. It had this weird sweet flavor, and consomé definitely shouldn't taste sweet. My daughter got the chicken enchiladas and ate them up, but she didn't like the rice or beans. I got the charro beans and she had the refried beans, and both of them tasted like beer to us. They were gross and neither of us ate them. The chips and salsa were really good though, and we actually got an order to go. Everything came out really quickly too, which was nice. I'd come back for the tacos and chips and salsa, but I'd definitely order different sides next time.

Al Chile just opened in November of 2022 (according to one of the lovely family members running the operation) and is a no frills food truck operating outside a gas station. Their menu is pretty impressive - many types of tacos, as well as other options like chimichangas and quesadillas. We ordered the following tacos: pastor, asada, cochinitas (my personal fave), and birria. All were bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection! There are some picnic tables nearby, or just take your food to go and enjoy in the comfort of your home. Next time we are in the area, we will absolutely be back for more!

So it's nice to have this little addition as an option. I can only speak on the carnitas, quesibrria, and birria tacos but all were really good and full of flavor. I'm from the West Coast and I've noticed it's hard to come across good authentic Mexican food. This place does not disappoint and reminds me of the street tacos from back home. It's a walk up and order at the window type of thing, they don't have tables and chairs to sit so you'll have to get it to go. The prices honestly are a little pricier than I would like to pay, $15 for three of the specialty tacos and no sides is a bit steep. But if you're in the area definitely stop by and check them out you won't be disappointed!

For a self-proclaimed lover of authentic Mexican cuisine, finding "amazing" salsa and juicy chicken…read moreis a huge win. When the protein is prepared well enough to overcome a soft tortilla, you know the kitchen team has the seasoning down. A welcoming staff and a "nice" manager can often diffuse the frustration of a wrong order. It's a testament to the "human" side of service when you're willing to overlook a mistake because the energy of the place felt right. The "No Notepad" Risk: While some seasoned servers pride themselves on memory, it's a high-wire act. In this case, the steak-versus-chicken mix-up is the exact reason why the "old school" pen and paper (or a handheld POS) remains the gold standard for accuracy--especially when dietary preferences are involved. A tortilla that is too soft can definitely dampen the experience of a great taco. It's a shame the fried tortillas didn't make it to the table, as that crunch would have likely balanced out the juiciness of the chicken perfectly.

Immediately upon entering and checking out the menu, I knew this was not the typical taco joint. I loved seeing the internationally-inspired flavors on the menu. I mean... gochujang queso, harissa ketchup, tikka wings... LOVE to see it!! We ordered the Loaded Nachos, cauliflower tikka taco, and chile rubbed snapper taco. The tacos were architectural works of art. They were generously sized, with a giant mound of fillings. However, the menu item I absolutely need to rave about was the Loaded Nachos. This was some serious business... a ton of chips piled up on a tray, absolutely smothered with shredded chicken (the protein we selected), the aforementioned gochujang queso, shredded pepper jack, pico de gallo, chimichurri ranch, and fresh jalapeno peppers. The queso was... chef's kiss; it was deliciously cheesy with a salty-sweet twist. The nachos are an absolute must get. 10/10 recommend this place!
