The owner Catrina is very kind and she handles all the orders. So far I have tried the elotes (street corn), chicken quesadillas, empanadas, and steak fries. Everything has been great, and not prepared with processed ingredients and homemade by her family recipes. My wife has a bell pepper affliction and being able to ask questions about what she can safely eat has meant the world to both of us. It is tough to find great Mexican food without bell pepper and it means so much to be able to have a place to grab food and enjoy without any worry. She was kind enough to let me sample the drinks also. The horchata is what I remember, the pineapple had a little spicy kick, and tamarindo is brewed with a native flower and I went with a 32oz of it. All the meats were fresh and hot with tortillas tasting handmade. Topped with the typical onion and cilantro. They give you salsa on the side. The Gorditas is what got me excited! I love that they use a handmade mass dough to make these. The meat of choice was Carne Asada. They were out of Lengua. I will go back again and again for this. It was my absolute favorite.
