Place has a good vibe, and Wow, the tacos were amazing. Definite gourmet foodie find.
Very confusion free for this gringo:
They have a menu that is in English as well. We had no problem communicating with the very professional and courteous staff. The waitress listed off the toppings to ensure there weren't any surprises and make certain we got what we wanted. Oh and they take $USD, no need to exchange currency. They have decent WIFI for their customers and it was only about a ten - fifteen minute walk from the border, no need for an ubiquitous cab or I believe now Uber.
We both tried the marinated chicken and the Rajas con queso tacos, which is a flavorful chille pepper (I thought mild heat, opinions differ...) with cheese and their standard toppings. They had a light and creamy guacamole sauce that really complimented the tacos. They were so good we both ended up getting another marinated chicken taco each.
They take pride in the quality of their ingredients and have quite a few different tacos. I'm looking forward to exploring more. I must have blurted out a half dozen times on the way home how damn good those tacos were.
Oh, it was very reasonably priced, for great service and atmosphere, 6 tacos, two beers (we had Tecate Lights, I believe they have craft beer as well, ) and a real coke with real sugar all for under $13, this place is a real find. read more
