I mean, what more do I need to say. The food, the tacos, the tacos!!! The TACOS!!! They're always so kind and quick to serve as soon as you walk up. Best taco experience after a night out at the bar or with the family for lunch. It's a legendary treat.

Highly recommend a stop here if you're in the area. Deliciously filling tacos, you can't go wrong with any of the options. It can get busy but people come and go quick They got all the fixins and all the meats so get whatever you want There was parking up and down the street so it's not too bad. But I'm not sure if it gets busier than this during peak times

Their food and service was excellent. 37 pesos per taco y also provided cucumber, cebollitas, etc. if you order more than one taco the server will give you one taco at a time so that it can be eaten warm.

Tres Salsas is back and OPEN! They went through a renovation for some months. Now, there is a place to sit upstairs above the taqueria! Before, you'd have to cram your way in front of the taquero to find a seat. You still have to order from him though. I consider this taqueria a right of passage for experiencing delicious tacos in Tijuana and Baja. They make the tortillas from scratch and every taco, tostada, mulita, burrito is plentiful with delicious and meat. They don't skimp on the guacamole either. The taquero is quite confident but he settles down when he gets your order. For English speakers, ordering can be intimidating, but just be assertive by telling the taquero what you want. "Yo quiero tres carne asada tacos con todo, por favor." He'll ask if you want everything (onions, cilantro and guacamole) "todo" on your food. If you don't want "todo," then say "sin" (seen) cilantro or "sin" cebolla (onions) or "sin" guacamole. Try the platano (banana) aguafresca. It's creamy, tasty and refreshing with anything on the menu. You pay the staff working on the side after you're finished. Tell them what you ate. Make sure it is accurate. There is a menu posted on the back wall with all of the prices. Each taco is 35 pesos each, about $1.75 each. Make it easy on yourself and bring pesos. Leave a tip for the taquero on the plate in front of him. Be generous as the staff works hard to make good food, beverages. Don't get offended if the taquero calls you güero (or güera the feminine form). It is used to describe someone who is blond or has light skin. Mexicans use nicknames or terms of endearment for people with various skin tones (güero/a, chino/a, moreno/a, negra/o) and none of them are meant to be derogatory. They are similar to American nicknames like "red", "curly" or "stretch." A light skinned Mexican girl is called güera but she would not likely be called a "white girl." Gringos/gringas are frequently called güeros/as because this is considered a more polite and complimentary word than "gringa." Words like güera or morena are affecionate nicknames; there isn't an implication of racial or cultural differentiation. Morena is a a person with a darker skin tone such as caramel. At first I took offense when the taquero addressed me as güera, and I preferred señorita, but a Mexican woman sitting at the counter explained the meaning of güera to me. She was addressed as one too! Enjoy your experience!

"Esta es el fin de la linea? No, alli?" Let me tell you, I brought my orderely Type A attitude to Las 3 Salsas and couldn't make heads of where I was meant to order my food and how I was meant to pay. This place definitely had me working on my spanish, which is always a good task, also refined my skills of being pushy, being in the front and being sure the staff sees you to get your order. After finally figuring out how to order I asked for the Adobado, chorizo and plato de ensalada (the radishes and scallions). The adobadao was so good, we went back for a second! A few minor miscommunications (all on my part) didn't have a negative impact on our adventure - We still very much enjoyed our food! I only wish the radishes were drenched in lime sauce like I remember from the last time I came to Las Alhumedras. Alas, I guess I'll have to come back again or try to recreate the radishes in that beautiful way we ate them back in 2019.

    Best Tacos Ever!

I saw some youtube videos on the Best Tacos in Tijuana Mexico and I decided to Visit Tacos Las Tres Salsas. I Travel for Tacos and I'm really grad I Traveled for these Tacos. They bring each customer a plate with cucumbers, radishes and grilled green onions. I had a Carne Asada, Chorizo, Al Pastor and Suadero. All tacos had Fresh Guacamole, Salsa, Onions and Cilantro. The Tacos were packed with wood grilled Smokey meat and my first bite exploded in my mouth with flavor, I'm usually good with Two tacos but I ate Four and I really think I could have fit a couple more in my Belly! As for now, Tacos Las Tres Salsas is the Best Tacos in Mexico and possibly the US I have ever tasted!

Adobadas mulita. Perfection. I think it cost under $2

Vampiros, Mulitas, Gorditas, Oh My! It's truly taco heaven here! I don't live in mexico, so i can't say with any authority... but to this gringa, this SEEMS about as authentic as you can get. A no-frills window overlooking an open kitchen, sitting on the sidewalk of a shabby street... just pull up a stool and watch them cook up all kinds of deliciousness while you browse the menu on the wall. Choose your taco style (they've got a lot to choose from! Tacos, sopas, mulitas, vampiros, gorditas, tortas... and probably more i'm forgetting) and choose your meat (adobada, carne asada, tripa, cabeza, chorizo, lengua, suadero, and probably more that i'm forgetting)... tell it to the chef behind the window... and in two minutes and for around two bucks, you will have an amazingly fresh and delicious specimen of taco perfection set in front of you. =^-,-^= PURRRRO Tip (for las gringas out there!) =^-,-^= Get your ch!t together and figure out what you want and how to order it in Spanish before you try to talk to the guy cooking... he's got little patience for gringa bullch!t. Do it like this: por favor una *taco type* (right of the menu) con *meat* (left of the menu) ...then hit him up again when you're ready for your next one. You don't gotta get all fancy or anything... just don't be like me and when he says 'que carne' keep saying 'vampiro vampiro!' (because my dumbass thought it was a type of meat not a type of taco hahaha he was soooo done with me. Now i know but wish someone had told me before! You're welcome!) =^-,-^= PURRRRO Tip #2 =^-,-^= Hit up the Six drive-thru market across the street on your way, and get a large michellada in a to-go cup to bring and enjoy with your tacos! Once i worked through ordering in my ch!tty spanish enhanced by a blonde-moment... i was rewqarded with the most amazing food. I got a vampiro con carne which was tender meaty perfection perfectly garnished and nestled between two crispy-grilled corn tortillas, and a mulitas con adobada which had the most amazingly flavored pork you can imagine. They serve it with a generous helping of grilled green onion, radish, cucumber and lime. I walked away stuffed and content... and having only spent around $5. I will definitely be back!

Super close to the border, has private parking with cameras everywhere which is a super big plus and the food is fire and the service is fast they remember EVERYTHING you ask for and they don't even need to use a pen and paper Dam!! That's skills if you ask me ! My husband isint really a big tipper but he gave them about $8 which is like a days work in Tijuana. MADD respect for these people here

Our friends were doing a competition to see which of their favorite taco places us turistas would enjoy the most and this one came out on top! The MOST flavorful and juicy adobada I have ever had! We also had a tripa and lengua - the tripa was a little crunchy and not off putting in the least while the lengua was just so delicious. Most tacos are 22 MXN with the tripa being 27 MXN, so that's ~$1.20 for a taco! I love Mexico! This one is located in "Las Ahumaderas" aka "Taco Alley" so there are other taco places nearby. If you want to sample from each, don't go too H.A.M. at this location. It'll be hard not to though since their tacos with the meat and flavoring are just so on point. Tip: Bring your wet napkins! They have a bunch of dry napkins, a big pump bottle of hand sanitizer, and a bathroom, but with no soap, so those together will just not get the job done. Also, they were a little hesitant taking our American dollars, so bring the pesos just in case!

Can't go wrong coming here. Glad Tacos El Franc ran out and closed early. This spot is quick, delicious and well priced.

Vintage Tijuana spot here! Las Ahumaderas has for decades been one of the better (top 3-5, arguably…read more#1) spots in TJ for tacos - highly recommended by tourists and locals alike. Las Ahumaderas is a collection of 5-6 taquerias on one side street off Blvd. Agua Caliente, one of the main thoroughfares in TJ. The taquerias offer very solid, relatively cheap tacos and tend to stay open until super late at night (often until 4 am). Las Ahumaderas is famously nicknamed "Taco Alley" and gained some international recognition after being featured one of Anthony Bourdain's travel and food shows. I've been several times but last stopped by Las Ahumaderas in September. The most popular spot there (and my personal favorite) is Las Tres Salsas - would highly recommend checking out that taqueria first if you've never been. The most highly regarded tacos here are the adobada (pork) tacos (my personal favorite as well). Ordered two adobada tacos, one suadero (cow belly) taco, and a Sprite. The nice thing about the food and drink at Ahumaderas is that a lot of the basic items are priced the same - each taco and the sprite were 45 pesos (around $2.50 USD) each. The tacos were all well-portioned, tasty, and filling (as usual). One thing a lot of tourists don't know is Las Tres Salsas has two levels, with the second level sometimes having a decent, relaxing view and atmosphere depending on the time of day. So I ordered and ate on the second floor (ordered from the server for that floor). Cash (dollars or pesos) are by far the most common method of payment but credit cards are also accepted at Las Tres Salsas and I think the other taquerias at Ahumaderas as well. If you don't speak Spanish there's usually someone at the register who speaks enough English to get by though the server I had that afternoon happened to speak very good English. Right after Las Tres Salsas I went to Tacos El Paisano, one of the other taquerias in the establishment. Ordered 1 asada (steak) taco, 1 cabeza (cow's head) taco, and a Fresca soda. Like Las Tres Salsas, all of the items were 45 pesos each. The tacos here were also good, though not as good as Las Tres Salsas; both of the tacos fell apart a bit due to being slightly soggy (though again they were good). I'm a picky eater but there are a wide variety of tacos, quesadillas, and other items to try between the handful of taquerias at Ahumaderas. Las Ahumaderas is about a 13-15 minute walk down Agua Caliente from Telefonica Gastro Park, another excellent foodie location in TJ. Must visit if you've never been before!
