The concept makes sense to reduce overhead and possibly increase convenience. When you walk in there is a bank of at least a dozen receptionists all representing different practices and offices. While the overall experience I've had visiting Mercy Personal Physicians at Glen Burnie has been…read moregood, this review is in regards to the lab work section of the office. In the three separate times I've visited to get my labs drawn, the woman working at that desk always seems annoyed with each person who approaches her. In my case, and what I believe is the standard case of each patient, we are told to go directly to the waiting room and wait for your name to be called since the labs are already in the system. On this occasion, two people did not follow those directions. The woman at the desk made a comment after the second person "ITS ALREADY STARTING". Unnecessary and rude. I approached her after she called my name and told her good morning, met with no response. I can speak for myself when I say, blood draws give me anxiety and I don't like them. Would it be so difficult to respond to the patient with a good morning? I expect so much more from Mercy, their Drs and nurses are phenomenal. They need to do better with their employees who work in the lab room..

I have now been seeing this doctor for a couple of years. I still really like him but am lowering…read moremy review by one star. The reason for this is that in the two years I have been seeing this doctor he has referred me to seven specialists, SEVEN! I am in my 20's and am relatively healthy so I feel like this is really excessive. A general practitioner needs to be able to handle general medical concerns, not just refer their patients to other practices for every little thing. He won't give me a prescription for birth control, or my other regular medications instead insisting on me having my gynecologist and other doctors prescribe them. I feel like anytime something is a little out of his comfort zone he's just so afraid of getting sued that he won't address the issue and instead just refers you to a different doctor. Also, the most recent time I was in his office I was concerned that I might be pregnant and asked him to administer a pregnancy test. He said no and told me to just take a home pregnancy test. It turned out that I WAS pregnant and as a result of him not testing me I didn't find out for sure for another 2 weeks. I feel like he was scared if I found out I was pregnant in his office he was going to have to deal with it and he didn't want anything to do with a pregnant woman. I still like this doctor and would recommend him to others but I wish he would be more confident in his abilities as a doctor and not be so scared of getting sued.

So for all who write reviews (including myself) ---please be careful and make sure it is the right business/person. They can unintentionally cause harm to a business/person with a wonderful reputation AND potentially deny them the well-earned respect they deserve due to the fact of having similar names. I read reviews to gain a true insiders perspective and save myself a lot of time (and disappointment), and I would hate to have read a review that was wrong. I will start a thread for Dr William B. Davidson, Pulmonologist at 301 Hospital Drive, Glen Burnie, MD. if that is who anyone would like to comment on. Thank you!

I wish I never went here, it has been a nightmare, hellish. I received imaging here over 1/2 year ago, but received no itemization, statement, or bill either in person or via mail. Now I am getting threatening letters from them that I owe them $10.00. Yes, they are going to send me to collections for $10 even though they never sent me a bill. The letter has a number that goes to the Phillipines which seems to be a scam operation. I spent half hour on the phone with someone in the Phillipines, I don't know who, giving every bit of personal information imaginable before I could pay the $10. Then they started asking me detailed information about my insurance policy numbers etc. Why does someone in the Phillipines need details of my insurance policy and numbers to take a $10 payment to my account, after already giving the 1/2 hour of personal information??? I called Centennial to see if this was a scam but Centennial First Call has no employees that work in the US or answer phones, no reputable billing department. Piece of trash company. I wish I knew what a piece of trash this company was so I would have gone someplace else, anyplace else.
