When it comes down to work there are 3 steps to follow Time Management,Have the right uniform, and take on as many shifts as should if available unfortunately this is one company that at once had these things but lost all of it I'very beennworking in Hospititality since 2016 and there are certain companies that serve a gold star for service, accessibility and great experience while other companies such as this deserve the biggest razzy award if it was granted to employment In the beginning it was fun and I accepted as many shifts as I could handle which was a lot but last year 2024 when I first started at my 4 year college it wasn't so good anymore They started using an app which was very annoying, every time I put in my availability they wouldn't pick me for the shift and whenever it came down to other opportunities I would often sign up for it and never got chosen despite my experience I wanted to expand my horizon within Hospitality but this companynwaa not the way to start When I changed my last name it took them months to update my information despite having every document they needed right in the needed procedure they were asking for and they only wanted me on says whenever I wasn't available last year I started school and the only thing that was on my mind was passing these much needed classes and all I wanted was to find full time employment and as many times I asked the managers of this company they were not good to ask for anything not even a recommendation when I often updates my availability they often went around me thats what it would feel like and I don't like putting my all into something I get nothing out of that is a big problem in my eyes andthe wrong way to go I am a dedicated student but I'm also a dedicated worker and when I work I go above and beyong my job even when I'm not supposed to and that forever hurts me in my core and when in 2023 when I started working at my current company Amerivents which I found out is their competition I automatically foresaw I was not gonna be with Tapuz Staffing for longer than planned. It didn't hurt when they let me go this in the beginning of this year I'm just upset with myself that I played myself in to thinking that this one would work out in my favor one of the reasons I'm not as optimistic as I uses to be is because of aspects like this I only have good intentions for myself and only wish to succeed in life in the job of my choice and only want to keep aiming high for my longterm goals for myself I don't think there is anything that Tapuz Staffing can't do but when it comes down to employment the first step is consideration for employees. read more

Working for this company has been a frustrating experience. I've had both good and bad times, but lately, it has mostly been bad. The hiring process is lengthy, and employees have to buy their own work clothing. Despite having over five years of serving experience, I am only being paid $24 an hour. I work for several agencies, and Tapuz offers the lowest pay of them all while demanding the most. They even expect you to do dishwasher duties for minimal compensation. Recently, I've noticed, along with my coworkers, that only a certain race seems to be getting all the shifts. Those who aren't receiving shifts are mainly Black and Hispanic employees. It's disheartening to see this kind of inequality at work. I've lost a lot of respect for Tapuz over the last four months. I have never experienced anything like this until now, and it is very disturbing for both myself and my coworkers. This company also does not protect its employees when clients are extremely rude to us, which is very disheartening. Additionally, we are facing issues with racist management towards Black and Spanish employees, while also dealing with mistreatment from clients. I highly advise against wasting your time here! read more

They helped to make our wedding run smoothly for the entire night. And broke down everything after the wedding was over so quickly we didn't even see when it happened. If there was an option to give Tapuz 6 stars, I would!! I hosted my first big party in my new home last year, and needless to say I was a bit overwhelmed, and needed a bit of help! My husband and I got the Tapuz recommendation from a friend of ours who works in catering and have since used their services on multiple occasions. We had never hired staff for any of our events before so I honestly was a bit hesitant, but to my surprise my expectations were exceeded- each time we have used Tapuz, the staff have always been knowledgeable, professional, respectful, and have always seemed to anticipate our needs. I like being able to focus on our party rather than handling the set up, passing out drinks and appetizers, etc... It's just such a difference to be able to enjoy our guests! As far as pricing goes, Tapuz is surprisingly reasonable... much less than we expected, actually. They offer servers, cooks, bartenders, and even people who have knowledge of all of these things at once. On top of that, the booking process is so much easier than I thought it would be, thank you Bethany! I would whole heartedly recommend them for any large or smaller more intimate events. read more

Bethany hand picked the perfect set of servers and bartenders who conducted themselves as skilled professionals from beginning to end. We hired the Tapuz staff for our wedding and they were fantastic. We wanted to have food catered from a few local restaurants that we really love that don't offer full service catering and also create our own cocktail menu. So the Tapuz team helped me assess our needs and created a staff plan to make sure we got everything we needed. Overall it was a wonderful experience, every member of the team was polite, professional, and helpful throughout the event. I even got great compliments on the service and professionalism of the entire team from my coordinator (modern rebel co.) as well as a few guests who work in the service industry. Recently hired Tapuz for an event for work and they were great! The Tapuz hiring staff had great rates and were very open with their communication. We hired 4 servers, each were capable of doing bartending services. We split 2 servers and 2 bartenders and with little direction they each learned and picked up very quickly. This was very useful for me as a client because they did not waste our time and allowed us to focus on other aspects of our event while Tapuz entertained our guests with the food/drink we catered. We only had one issue with one of the servers cancelling last minute, however Tapuz was able to find us another replacement at our work location within a reasonable time and reimbursed us for the time loss. When working with other people, there will be times when challenges or problems occur, but I salute Tapuz for handling the situation promptly and professionally. I also loved that although Tapuz was managing their staff remotely, they were only a phone call away and when I had to call they picked up immediately. Great rate and time saved. I used Tapuz to find a coat checker/server for a small celebration of my marriage at home in my apartment for 25 people. The staff - Bethany and Maya - were very responsive and made it super fast and easy to book talent for my event. Our marriage is same-sex, and they were respectful of my request to send someone to work my cocktail party who would be more than comfortable at a "gay wedding reception." Their rates were also very affordable. They sent us Aiden! He was an absolute hit and such a sweetheart! Aiden arrived early, smartly dressed in black on black. He had a lovely demeanor and was at ease with me, my husband and our guests. He easily made natural conversation with everyone and was generous with his smile. He was fantastic at the work; greeted my guests and checked their coats, replenished food when needed, appeared out of nowhere when anyone needed a drink refill, worked collaboratively with the bartender we hired and managed all the trash. We just loved him and he very much added to our event. I have no idea how much Aiden receives after Tapuz takes their cut, but I threw an extra $40 at him when he arrived, and another $40 at him when left. He definitely went above and beyond and was worth every penny. read more

We recently hired Tapuz for an event we were hosting, and they were awesome. We contacted them just a few days before the event, so it was pretty short notice, but they were happy to help and were very prompt in getting us all set up. We hired one bartender, Nate, and he was amazing--he went above and beyond what was expected, from helping us set up chairs beforehand to running out and getting ice to chill the white wine (because of course we had forgotten to buy ice!). Afterwards, he even helped us carry some of the extra wine and water bottles back to our office a few blocks away. In addition to being really helpful, he was an all-around great guy, really nice, funny, and interested in our event. It was a wonderful experience, and we'd definitely hire Tapuz again! read more
