Managed to make it through the so-called soup (I was really hungry), when the rest of the food arrived. Potato skins were lukewarm with sketchy salsa on the side. Cheese wasn't really melted, so not sure how that got messed up. The fish sandwich though, was a real gem. The waitress (pleasant and prompt), placed the plate in front of me, apologizing that the sandwich had fallen over. It did that because (as she said) the kitchen ran out of buns, so they used French bread instead, so "it'll be okay". It was not okay. There was a big slice of processed cheese gluing a few things together (scraped that off as best I could), and there was no tartar sauce or anything else on the facsimile of a sandwich. I flagged the waitress down to please bring something, and she did, though it took a while for the tartar sauce to arrive, and she apologized for taking too long because "she had to dig it out" (your guess is as good as mine). I was able to choke down the small portion of fish with the help of the tartar sauce, and left the bread, cheese, and sad lettuce to exit with the plate. The pickle spear, though, was not so bad.

I grabbed a seat at the bar and was greeted quickly and kindly. Their menu feels more like small plates/shareables so I opted for some sliders and and an appetizer. The food was very good but I can't get that gochujang sauce out of my mind. It was so good and I literally used it all with my corn fritters and sliders. I am a big fan of Tyranena beers so it wasn't hard to find something I enjoyed. This is the kind of place I can see hanging out at and having a few beers with friends. I plan on coming back and I would suggest you all go give it a try if you are in the Lake Mills area. It's not too far off the freeway and if you go early enough in the afternoon it shouldn't be too busy. You can also make a day of it and visit the other local shops in the area.
