So many of them!! It's fun to watch them and talk to them (they do talk back!!). The vibe of this place is amazing! The birds are loud and about from 5-6ish. After 7pm it was pretty quiet but beware they will poop randomly so much sure you don't get any on you! The drinks omg we were addicted to the Bird of Prey! Over a week we had over 30 of those . Definitely recommend that drink if you like something fruity and chill! The food was amazing! Like everything was soooooo good! My favorite was the Japanese A5 Wagyu! Definitely get that if you don't mind splurging a bit! One of the best steaks I've had in my life! The prawns skewer were huge (beware it has all its body parts if that grosses you out) and they were cooked to perfection and the flavor was great! The salmon hand rolls were another level of salmon! Yummmm is all I gotta say! P.S. the hotel wailea burger is really good as well and that patty is thick! It has an interesting flavor cause it's dry aged so if you are not a fan of that then don't get that as it's a flavor! But def worth it and filling! The staff were great and helpful in suggesting items and they are quick! Do order the drinks in advance if the place is packed and everyone goes ham on those drinks! Will definitely be back next time we visit!

The server was helpful and offered another option which was better but did not make up for the first offering. Bill was $175.00 which was $150.00 too much! if your going out for dinner and want n upscale experince on Maui go to Mama's or the Four Seasons where you hvea really good chance of finding some good food!

However, when you have to wipe the dust off of your dipping bow and plate, that kinda concerns me. The outdoor tables are located under a tree. Who knows where the "dust" came from. Strike 1. The ahi that was served with the salad was warm. Never had sashimi served warm (and with salt n pepper on it). Kinda scared me, but we still ate it. I truly regret this. Strike 2. The steak was delicious though. Tender and cooked perfectly. The sauce was also delicious. I believe it was a tomato-based sauce and as well as chimichurri. My husband and I shared our plates with each other. We both ended up with painful, upset stomachs that night. Strike 3.

Unfortunately, there were no oysters. It was actually a bit tough to find a place with oysters in Maui (shoutout to Fleetwood's). It was perfect because we ended up just wanting a light dinner, and this restaurant has tapas and small portions. Not a bang for your buck, by any means, though. I was a bit bummed because I wanted a specific appetizer (similar to a wagyu beef tataki), but they did not have it. Instead, I got the hamachi carpaccio, which was still good. I also ordered a spicy rainbow roll. You could tell that the fish was very fresh on top, but the roll itself was just decent. Not worth the $25 and it was also not spicy. I think my favorite food item was the karaage. It was crispy, tender and the sauce was the cherry on top. I am looking at the menu and I realize that a lot of these cocktails are new, which is another bummer because I would have loved to try all of them (guava mojito, spicy lilikoi mezcalita and vana colada -- yes please!) The restaurant itself is so cute! There is definitely a rustic vibe to it. It could look like a treehouse because there's a big tree in the middle and string lights. It is an outdoor restaurant, and there is an extended outdoor section as well that has a little more secluded feel. There's a bar area, but it is a bit small.

My husband and I thought we ordered a reasonable amount of food and quickly realized we may have gotten a little too ambitious. Everything tasted fresh and comforting, and it was exactly the kind of breakfast we wanted before a full day of exploring the island. The staff was friendly, service moved quickly despite how busy it was, and the atmosphere felt very local and welcoming. There are a lot of breakfast spots on Maui, but I can see why this place is always recommended. If you're visiting, it's definitely worth stopping by at least once. Just don't make the same mistake we did and over-order... although I can't say I regret it.

Service was attentive and friendly, conversations were natural and light hearted, it was fun to interact with the chef and the staff as they pass by the bar where we sit. Also best seat in the house cos we got to see every dish come out so we have a preview of all the dishes. Food was delicious and cook in front of us, that was a bonus! Tried the kapachi crudo with passion fruit miso, love it, good blend of savory and tartness. The gnocchi was fluffy and soaked up the Brie sauce very well with small pieces of guanciale that added crunch. Smashed burger was the show!! Crispy edges dry aged wagyu patty with very light pink on the juicy inside, cooked along with caramelized onions and cheese, buns were pressed slightly on the grill with sprinkle of salt to add flavor which was a nice touch! Local catch today was the snapper, charcoal grill was very aromatic and cook for fish delicately with veggies that were sautéed with tako vinaigrette. Carrot cake with cream cheese frosting and a scoop of honey lavender ice cream was so heavenly! The meal was delicious and fun, definitely will visit again!

My husband had the same hash with grilled ahi (very salty) . They tell you the egg on the hash is a runny sous vide- I think she said. I thought it would be ok, like ramen, ....Runny was right, the white of the egg was more translucent than opaque. Specify more cooked egg if this raw thing is not for you. Service was with a smile, but we were half finished with our breakfast before the Bloody Marys showed up. Patio is nice and airy with some view across the blue course and toward Molokini. In the treetops. So why a rate of 3? It's the details- the server commented on delayed drinks very dismissively, and their outdoor speaker was on too loud to the point it reverberated with some static, definitely blown out. I asked to please turn it down or off as it was not adding to the experience. Got a very strange look and maybe it was turned down a fraction about 10 minutes later. Traffic noise was significant but we were sitting outside next to the road. Expected. But to compete with the music and traffic was not our cup of tea. This breakfast as described was $95. You decide.

Ordering off the menu was also a great option. I got the fried rice and galbi, which came with sides and were all delicious. One thing my friend could not stop talking about was the poke, which was slightly on the spicier side but fresh, soft, and very tasty. This place has it all, and you really cannot go wrong. It might be a bit more on the expensive side depending on what you get, but it is pretty in line with the rest of Hawaii's pricing. Do yourself a favor and check it out. If there is a line, the wait can be lengthy. One day she took my number and texted me when our table was ready (and I killed time at the lobby shops and artisan stands while my husband enjoyed the open air lobby views). The staff are kind, friendly and even offered area activity recommendations. The ocean view is incredible-- it can be enjoyed best on the patio, and from many of the indoor tables. The buffet includes unlimited coffee, tea, juices (love the POG juice), coke products (you can ask for a to go cup on your way out! I recommend asking for ice)-- as well as a made to order omelet. Then there is the entire buffet. As a vegetarian, I had plenty of options. Loved the avocado toast bar-- it was so flavorful! I loved the scones were different flavors each day. I eat eggs, so I sometimes had the scramble, sometimes a veggie omelet (I liked to top it with parmesan cheese from the avocado toast bar). I enjoyed the breakfast potatoes (they changed them up a bit each day), and the variety of salads. They even had a marinaded tofu! The place is kid friendly. There is a parking garage.

Humble Market Kitchen feels like a restaurant that knows it has a captive audience and has stopped trying very hard. The food was uninspired, generic, and significantly overpriced for what was delivered. Nothing was particularly bad, but almost nothing was memorable either. Breakfast was especially underwhelming. Skip the buffet. The eggs were watery and soupy, and the "Hawaiian sausage" turned out to be little more than sliced hot dogs. For a resort of this caliber in a destination known for incredible food, it felt surprisingly low effort. Service was probably the strongest part of the experience, but even that was average at best. I'd call it a 6 out of 10. Friendly enough, but not the level of hospitality you'd expect given the prices and setting. The disconnect is especially noticeable because the Wailea Beach Resort itself is fantastic. We genuinely loved our stay and would absolutely return to the property. That's what makes the restaurant so disappointing. It feels like a business operating inside a great resort rather than an extension of the resort experience. If you're staying at the Wailea Beach Resort, do yourself a favor and explore the many excellent dining options around Wailea instead. Maui has too many great restaurants to spend your vacation settling for this one.
