After moving to So.Oregon from California and the sunshine of San Diego I noticed a little depression setting in due3 to the overcast skies in the Rogue Valley and Oregon as a whole. The one thing I always have done in the past was hit a tanning salon to recharge my Solar Pack so to speak. I did some asking around and several people had mentioned "Paradise Tan" as a good place so I tried it. And I am here to tell you they were Right. Des the Owner met me personallt and gave me a tour of the place and you could also smell how clean it was without the harsh chemical smells sometimes associated with santized beds. Also the beds all looked like NEW BULBS & PLASTICS which everyone knows is the key. She had several different packages and desired tanning levels from Fair completion to the darkest for your money. She has monthly, Minutes, Session and Multi Session pkgs avail. She is very knowledgeable about all her beds and the products she sells all at " VERY" fair pricing. Jamie Callaway (Nail Tech) is entirely awesome! She creates artsy nails that get noticed "everywhere." I can go anywhere in the valley (like Dutch Brothers, the mall, gas stations) and casually display my nails and they get complimented, noticed and quickly become a great topic of conversation! Hair too! Laura Hoyes (with 34+ years of experience under her stylist belt) really knows her stuff. I've had more compliments on my last doo than I ever had in the previous decade. So there is something hot going on at Paradise Tans! Des (the owner) is 100% about great customer service and it show. The owner is hardly ever in the shop on time and when she does show up and work, she personally talks s***/crap about her customers and her employees in front of other customers. On 7 different occasions in one salon visit she approached where I was receiving service and spoke unprofessionally about clients telling other clients their business while using profanity. Then mid open business hours leaves the shop for 5 hours while leaving her nail/hair techs to tend to her tanning clients while they worked on their own clients. Chick is a hot mess, unprofessional and completely in over her head. Hope she finds Jesus soon cause she needs him! read more

I've been going to this Beautiful, spacious, clean, salon since 2013. Plenty of parking. My visits here have always been enjoyable, and the staff are kind, polite, patient, and knowledgeable. My fellow peers and friends who have visited all have told me how much they like the "bright, nice, and comfortable" environment it has. I've been to other tanning beds at different salons in Medford, and I personally like the beds at Paradise Tans much better. With the great variety of hempz lotions, tanning lotions, and eyewear to choose from, as well as the very reasonable prices, I'm able to get a beautiful tan in time for spring quickly! :) read more

I can NOT say anything bad about this place. I haven't been in, in a while. Had a baby. When I called to make an appointment I ask how many minutes I have left on a package I bought years ago? She lady said none. I thought about it and I couldn't see how? The owner was their and looked through my account and we realized someone else had the same last name and had used my minutes. If you are looking for a clean, well maintained tanning salon, this is the place! My results were evident in just 3 tanning seasons. The staff helped me to choose a tanning lotion and package that would get me the results I wanted , but still stay within my personal budget. There is no pressure to purchase higher priced items. I had Kara do my color and cut. I've never liked my hair as much as I did when she did it. I got so many compliments from all age groups. I love the way my hair feels. she is a hoot to have do your hair. she's knowledgeable and hilarious. we laughed and had a great time. Great customer service! It is wonderful to have tanning, hair, and nails all in one convenient location. I was also pleased to learn that Paradise Tans uses Australian Gold PH Neutral Disinfectant (no acetone) to clean their tanning beds! There is also plenty of tanning goggles available for purchase (behind the counter) but, I generally bring my own. read more

Paradise Tans is the BEST!! A few months ago I moved to Eagle Point but it's worth the 25 minute drive to go to Paradise Tans in Medford. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the owner Des is wonderful. Fran the Stylist does a great job and charges reasonable prices.
