Loved this tasting room! It's give off a girly vibe and perfect for a girl's day of wine tasting. My boyfriend and I decided to come here on a weekend trip to Cottonwood. Our wine steward was friendly and knowledgeable. We also ordered a flat bread that was delicious.

Loved the vibe (& wine!) We wandered in during the anniversary party last night & were welcomed in & had a wonderful time. I, also, somehow managed to win a bottle of wine! Thanks ladies! Love your place!

This was such a cute stop along the main street of cottonwood. Tantrum was recommended to us by a couple we met at another winery after we noticed that we had similar tastes in wine. SWEET. Their wines were all quite sweet and I would have tried everyone if I had the time. The mural in the back is amazing and even has the perfect instagram / photo shoot op. The bathroom was also pretty decked out. The only bummer was that because it's such a great place, it got crowded quickly and there was only one girl working (she was great) so it took a bit longer to get our next drinks.

This wine tasting room is the cutest, most welcoming, and fun winery in all of Cottonwood! The decor is feminine, chic, and provides an Instagram-worthy backdrop! We love coming to watch Lee Zimmer perform with his Spanish classical guitar! His music elevates the experience, making it elegant and relaxing! The wines are also very unique, fruity and delightful. Such a fun place to catch up, sit back and bask in the charming and cozy ambiance!

We absolutely love Tantrum. Emily always takes care of us and makes sure we have a great time.

This was hands down my favorite winery stop in Cottonwood! The woman behind the counter was awesome, informative and friendly like we're her gal pals. The interior is so freaking adorable and instagramy. Oh and the wines-- I couldn't pick a favorite between the white and red. I loved the savvy and their cab. I could have spent the whole day here. Loved the live music too!

I was hooked into this winery while I was walking by, when one of the workers was fixing a light on the patio and said, "You should come in! It's all about women in here!".... So how could I say no? My boyfriend and I came back for a late night tasting, and I was thoroughly in love with the wines. The flights were very affordable and generous. He got a red flight, and I got a white (even though I'm a red wine girl). We both loved all of what we had. My most favorite were the Toomi red and the Felicity white. The Toomi really was like poetry in a bottle... the notes were incredible and the finish was like smelling expensive perfume in an upscale jazz bar. It just really brought back good memories for me. The Felicity was tropical without being too sugary. I fell in love with it because it reminds me of a favorite wine from Mercury that just tastes like summer. We ended up taking home a bottle, and it was very reasonably priced. My Grammy tried their moscato and it was incredible. It was velvety, sweet and not overly dry and acidic. She went home with a 4 pack of cans. Overall, I definitely recommend visiting for a unique experience in Cottonwood!

My girlfriend and I randomly found Tantrum Wines during our Arizona road trip while we were looking for a place to eat dinner. Please note this is a tasting room so it's different than a wine tasting at a vineyard. When we entered, we were immediately impressed by the colorful furniture and walls. This is a great place to capture Instagram photos and also have a glass or two of wine alone or with others. Also, in the back, there's a design on the wall by Tom Fish, a lead animator at Walt Disney Animation Studio, and it's super cute. In terms of the wine, I'm sober but my girlfriend enjoyed a flight and Josie was very knowledgeable. We actually arrived right before closing and she still patiently went over some wines with us along with other local history. In terms of the flights, you can choose 4 wines for $10 or 6 wines for $12. She chose 4 wines and they were all nice. Josie took us through each one and gave a lot of details in terms of how it's made and the flavor profile. On the menu, you don't see a flavor description (fruity, tannic, sweet, etc.) of each one and that's on purpose so you aren't influenced before you try each one. After she tried each wine, my girlfriend decided to buy a bottle of the Cha Cha, which is a sweet wine, and it was around $30. We definitely suggest going here and checking it out. It has a great ambience, history, solid selection of wines, and a unique design. Pros -Friendly and knowledgeable staff -Good wines and a nice value -Great decor -Fun atmosphere Cons -They don't have food and it would have been nice to pair it with each wine.

Been coming to tantrum for a while and find their wines decent, but was recently shocked to find these photos posted by the owner. Comparing the recent pandemic to a Holocaust where thousands were murdered is incomparable, to having to simply wear a mask. It is also insulting to those families who were effected by the holocuast. I find it off-putting that she doesn't take social distancing serious, and refers to people and customers that do, as "Sheeple". Would make me uncomfortable to sit and visit. Do to this, I cannot come back and support a place that has lack of respect and understanding for those who may be vulnerable to the virus, or enough self awareness to know the difference between genocide/racial/religious oppression, and a pandemic. Edit/response: "Better keep her head down. Its worth the misdemeanor". Inferring violence/illegal action against a customer. Classy. For a "strong" women who doesn't "cower", its interesting that she doesn't want to show the pictures SHE posted herself. Ironic. Also nobody asked about your divorce (or cared) and has zero to do with what issues we were talking about. Seems frantic. Again no self awareness

What great little place to have good wine and fun pics! The decor is so fun for insta pics. We had a glass of their Toomi and loved it. Felt warm and comfy! Definitely a place to check out.

The charcuterie at Tantrum is terrific. Loved the wine & decor too.

We have been amazed... that the Southwest and especially the Verde Valley area has so many viticultural qualities that stand out. Being somewhat connoisseurs of good vino we're always on the lookout for more extraordinary and delicious wines in Arizona. Wine enjoyment is very subjective, and our tastes may not reflect yours but what we have found here at the Chateau Tumbleweed Winery defines the regions wine eminence and potential. Of most the wines tried an overwhelming number we found to be of high quality. Their white, red, and rosé varieties are a refined sort, giving each a uniqueness that one can distinguish from other vintners. They have made a specific point of utilizing some of the best of the best vineyards across Arizona thereby designing their own distinctive approbation to their own product. Some our faves on our visit are the refined Cimmaron Vinyard Mourvèdre 2022, the pixelating Picford Blanc 2023, the refreshing Rex 2022 and the exhilarating Miss Sandy Jones 2023. We took some home! Miss Sandy, Mourvedre, Rose and Dos Amigos. Enjoying a few wine choices at their location is a relaxing, enjoyable and flavorful happening as they offer a calming and comforting outdoor patio area conducive to sipping and enjoying. If you're wine connoisseurs like us, you will enjoy a pause here for some refreshing and enjoyable sips on the patio.

While making the reservation I made a note that our oldest son is autistic and non-verbal and his only form of communication so that staff was aware we decided to give this place a try. After spending close to $800 on food for our party we decided to exit the restaurant and that is when the problems began. As we were walking out another customer at the bar a patron at the bar decided to squeal at my son but also yell into his face. When who I assumed was her daughter realized we saw what was going on she covered her mouth and told her to stop. Being adults and understanding of others different situations we decided the best method was to approach the management team and explain the situation. I then approached a manger who was wearing a pink colored collared shirt and explained to her what happened and her response was "that hurts my heart, we do not stand for that and we will definitely do something about this." We waited outside for about 15 minutes to see what was going to be done and once we saw nothing was I went back in to speak to the general manager. This was definitely the worst part of the night. Tiana came out to speak to us and I asked her to speak on the side so that other patrons were not affected. Her response to me after explaining the situation was "since we did not see it we cannot do anything." I let her know that was an inappropriate response and that since it was a private business they could remove any patron for any reason but if they did not want to do that then she could just openly tell me that. I then gave her an example and stated "if I stab someone and you do not see it then you would not remove me?" Her response was "we definitely would," to which I stated that goes against what you just openly told me and she that there is damage from a stabbing. I then stated to her that physical damage is the same as emotional and mental damge just in a different form which she seemed to easily dismiss. She then stated that the first manager I spoke to was doing her due diligence to find out what happened and I then pointed out that that manager was actually waiting tables and we watched her do this the entire time so I was not sure when due diligence was being completed. We went around in circles, I asked her to give me the ownership information to which she stated "the owner is too famous for you to know," but eventually gave me the name which I had already searched for in my phone. At this point I openly stated that she could just tell me they were not going to do anything and that transparency would be more appreciated to which her response was "you are not currently dining in my restaurant so you need to leave my property." We did walk away but I hope that this is addressed and not pushed aside. All that to say, I hope this type of discrimination was not because we were Hispanic (the restaurant was filled with 90% Caucasian clients), because we were from out of town (from California) and mostly I hope it is not because the stance of the restaurant is not that people with disabilities matter less. I hope someone reaches out to me to address this concern and I hope no other family has to be a part of what we went through tonight. Tiana seems to be invested in the business and that is great but should also understand her customer concerns. Update to this review: Called this morning (2/17/26) and the hostess said she was not going to help me with any information, that I was a weirdo, to grow up and then hung up the phone on me.

We read the disclaimer on the bottom of the menu stating possible risk of cross-contamination and informed our server that a member of our party has celiac disease, despite this declaration we were served allergens TWICE. Both the fried gnocchi with the steak and a pizelle cookie hidden in the ube gelaska were served despite our clear notice. Food safety is a significant responsibility, and it appears the kitchen staff ignored the modifier on the service ticket for the steak (the server forgot to add the modifier on the dessert dish) and the server did not pay attention to the presentation prior to delivering the dish to the table. While the manager was lovely and effective at de-escalating the situation, the initial server's reaction was to walk away. Celiac disease is a serious health issue, not a dietary preference, and requires strict precautionary measures. Unfortunately, the carelessness displayed by the staff deters us from returning, as this lack of attention to detail poses a serious health risk to your patrons. I hope this feedback will be taken seriously to ensure better safety protocols in the future. It's a beautiful establishment with an incredibly unique menu that deserves better service and care from the staff.

We had been in the car all day and we were looking forward to chatting about the wine and learning from the tasting room employee. We haven't been to Cottonwood in several years and thought it would be a nice chat. Nothing too involved. We didn't want to take her time from other customers. We just enjoy these types of interactions at wineries and that's how we learn about the wine, the industry etc. Well, we walked up to the bar and we were told to take a seat wherever we'd like. (There was only one other couple in the tasting room at the time, so it wasn't busy.) The employee told my husband, "we serve you like a restaurant here" and she gestured towards some chairs. My husband followed up and said "so, we can't stand at the bar?" She then became very rude and snippy and said "this is where I work." So... we grabbed a couple of menus and took a seat, but at this point we were so upset by how rude she was being that we couldn't enjoy the wine and I suggested that we leave before I said something to her about her behavior. To be fair, yes, the bar is where she "works." It's a wine bar and we were there to drink wine and I can't imagine any other work she would have to do that would take precedence over selling wine to excited customers who were interested in paying for a tasting and we probably would have bought a couple of bottles as well. I very much doubt that her boss would think that whatever "work" she was doing at the bar was more important than selling wine and taking care of customers. We aren't loud, we aren't annoying and we certainly wouldn't have bothered her if she looked like she was in the middle of some kind of project, but not to allow us to even stand there was just jaw dropping. I didn't get her name, but she had long black hair and looked late middle aged. Very disappointed. Appalled even.
