Well, there are many good places for wine in the area, and it's smaller than some of the others, but I felt they had a very good selection of interesting wines. The gy helping us out was a character. We ended up buying a bottle. It helps that if you buy a bottle you get the tasting flight for free, but the hard part was figuring out which wine we liked the best. We had a great experience here, I wasn't expecting much from a small town like Jerome, but they have a lot of good local wine to try. They had interesting wine selection with a range of styles to choose from, we ordered a flight of 6 wine samples, all were very good and on point. Tha staff was friendly and were very knowledgeable about all the wines we tried. Very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere, the design on the wine bottles kinda unique. We bought 2 bottles, the Gerwurztraminer and the Blaufrankisch red wine. I highly recommend this place if you ever stop in Jerome. read more

Nice winery scary drive. PSA, Arizona is not all flat and dry! It is also steep and wet. They have a nice interior and a great employee serving up yummy wine. The young woman working when we visited was a classic small tourist town self made person. She came into town with nothing and was determined to stay, and she did. She was a good emissary, knowledgeable about the town and she was friendly and entertaining. The wine... if you're staying nearby, I recommend a bottle or two to enhance your visit. They make tasty wine that makes you feel good, I'm partial to dry reds, but I thought the Gewürztraminer was very enjoyable... The staff was really friendly and accommodating. We did 6 tastes for a set price, and the wines kind of ranged all over the map. Alas, the only one that stood out to me was a chardonnay - and only then for not being very good. That said, it was nice to experience the variety of wines, even if none really left a strong (positive) impression on me. The decor was really cool, too. They have some interesting tumbleweed light fixtures, as well as some cool art on the walls. It is definitely worth a stop, even if it wasn't my favorite winery on the trail. read more

At first we weren't sure if we were going to enjoy the experience. There was one person working, when we walked in we were guided to not sit where we were going to sit, and the atmosphere seemed a little dry. However, the experience was a fantastic experience. The music was good, when the music wasn't on-staff was telling Corky jokes. Staff made sure to know everybody's name at every table. There are lots of options for tastings, there are not a lot of options for nonalcoholic. The prices are a little on the high side for bottles of wine but sometimes you get what you pay for. The restrooms were clean and the environment was clean from front to back. Will definitely return when we're in the area, and would recommend. read more

Tony was grate host and welcomed me to his office giving me the rundown of how things worked, the cost of everything, and took my order. The place was small comfortable and quiet. There was 2 other party's that where there and he gave each party the same detailed attention that was given to me. The wine was very tasty and the stand up comedy portion was my favorite. Tony said "my job is not complete until every customer smiles". This place is a gem and Tony has something great here. As a proud UC Davis alum, I was shocked to find Zinfandel from the UC Davis Heritage Project being offered, let alone in Jerome. UCD doesn't even sell these wines commercially, so I made sure to jump on the opportunity to try a flight and buy a bottle. Tony must have quite a connection to offer these wines. A wonderful spot! Beautifully kept and maintained and an atmosphere you want to be around. Tony was working and immediately made me feel relaxed and at home. A broad selection, wonderful prices, and great explanation of the wines. A 1 ounce pour of 5 or 6 wines, and you could opt for the port collection or the Zinfandel collection as well. The place has a great atmosphere and we were super excited when entering the tasting room. Tony is super nice and the wine is quite good. Tony seated us, explained the various wines and gave us a quick run down of the vines they use. After that it went downhill, when several more groups of people came in after us. It was a Sunday afternoon and it appears that there were just way too many people for one server to handle. Ultimately, our tasting fell short. We ordered 2, 6 pour tastings for my wife and I. We only got a portion of one of those tastings, leaving us short with a single 5 pour tasting. We also ordered a cheese plate and were pretty disappointed. It seemed thrown together and the cheese was pretty old and dry. It came with two small pieces of prosciutto which was also very dry. I can tell that Tony is probably usually very attentive and is very knowledgeable, but in a place like Jerome, it would be appropriate to have an additional server on the weekends to handle the higher number of customers. We did purchase 2 bottles of wine prior to leaving as we did enjoy what wines we got to taste. I would recommend checking out the wines here but you might consider visiting on a weekday. read more

I walked In during the weekend to purchase wine as a gift for my mother. When I started speaking to the the worker he seemed very nice and pleasant to talk to I informed him clearly that I was looking for a sweet wine because my mother hates dry bitter wines. I know he heard me clearly because he said "these wines here are dry and bitter while these wines here are sweet" when he was showing me their wines. I asked for his recommendation and I purchased 2 of the bottle he recommended and It wasn't until I was back home in a different city that I had a chance to taste one of the bottles and come to find out it was a really dry wine. I felt completely played and lied too about the wine he was recommending me especially since I made it clear that I didn't want a dry wine but a sweet one. I would like to believe it was an accident but it clearly wasn't if he himself said specifically which were sweet and which were dry and recommended a wine he said was sweet but turned out to be dry. 67 dollars down the drain. Ps I would just like to make clear that the wine wasn't the problem it's good and of high quality I've tasted similar wines of it's class and I can say for sure it definitely is a good wine. And I didn't mean to offend by saying "workers" I'm sorry and I'm sure they are professionals in their field and take great pride in what they do which is always great but being a worker doesn't mean you've never served others and it's also insensitive to presume that. The problem was when purchasing the wine I was told it was a sweet wine but it in fact is not and after online research it is labeled as a dry wine I was also not offered to sample the wine before purchasing so I was going off of trust with the wine professional after finding out it isn't what I was promised I felt played. Also it is rude and insensitive and shallow to downplay those who enjoy wines of a cheaper caliber, there are those who haven't had the chance to try quality wines such as the ones you provide. With wines as complex as the ones you produce I would suggest you advertise that these wines will not be the wines that beginners would be accustomed too and are an acquired and elevated taste. That being said I hope your business prospers and does well I'm sorry my experience and honest review wasn't pleasing to hear. read more

I was surprised to see the reviews on this winery especially after the way my husband and his friend were treated. We took our friends to Jerome while they were visiting and walked into a somewhat empty winery to do a quick tasting while we went shopping. They sat at a bigger table (just in case we joined them later) they were asked "How many in your party?" My husband replied "2" the gentleman said "Well your not sitting there" my husband and his friend were thinking he was kidding once they realize he was serious, they both walked out. My husband does not get offended easily so had they just asked if they could sit in another section they would have had no issue but the manner and tone that was used was just not nice in any way. read more

We have belonged to the winery for over a year now and have thoroughly enjoyed it. They were on the opposite corner with a magnificent view but the rent doubled and they are in the current location.
