What this Jo Jo's DOESN'T have is the other Jo Jos' awesome antipasto salad with homemade Italian dressing (some of the best Italian dressing I've had anywhere). What this Jo Jo's DOES have, however, is an outstanding chef salad. I usually skip the turkey and croutons, and request double bacon. Okay, the bacon is amazing. I'm serious, it's actually amazing! It's cooked fresh and crumbled for each salad. I get the salad with Greek dressing, as the Italian, at this Jo Jo's, is not the same recipe used on Monroe Street or at Mayberry. Now, I'm a pizza addict, but I'm also trying to stay in shape as I get older. You might be able to argue with me about the healthiness of bacon, but this salad is amazing and has almost no empty carbs. Eating it is as satisfying (almost) as eating a pizza. Service is great. Most of the people working here are high school and college aged kids, but they're not a bunch of Gen Z slackers. They hustle, and your food gets out to you quickly.
