It was peaceful just walking among the blueberry bushes. It wasn't busy the Sunday early afternoon that I went. When I arrived no other person was in the wine tasting area. I was able to roam the blueberries with no one else around for like 20 min which was really relaxing.

We were greeted first thing and we sat at the stools around the counter. The employee then walked us through the wines. We started with blueberry and worked our way down. My group was greeted by an older man (I believe his name started with a V) who came across as pretty rude and dismissive. We were asking questions about how the wine tour worked, but he wasn't really answering them directly, and his demeanor made us feel like we were stupid for not already knowing the rules of the establishment. He also asked if we were together or separate (for payment). When we said separate, he sighed, so we said we could do together if that was easier. He responded with, "It doesn't matter to me," but clearly it seemed like it did. It was just an uncomfortable interaction, especially when we were simply trying to figure out how everything worked. We ended up doing the wine tour, which was around $5.33 and included six wines. The wines were a mix -- some I really liked and some I didn't care for -- but overall I enjoyed the tasting experience. It can be a little awkward since you're doing it with a big group of strangers, but it's still a fun activity. The wine tasting experience itself was enjoyable, but that first interaction unfortunately left a bad impression and took away from the overall experience.

This is my first wine tasting event and it exceeded my expectations and then some. It was a…read morebeautiful sultry summer day with not a rain cloud in the sky. V+C's noticeable attention to detail (marble table tops, miniature variegated Scheffleras and etc.) made it extra special and stress free for me right off the bat, and my first note to myself was, "This is going to be a wonderful experience that I got for a song." I have a deep appreciation and admiration for all things done well and purposefully and this was it. The event was like a three-hour next-level Food and Wine Festival specific to a stream of glorified apéros. It was V+C's inaugural event and here's how it went down. There were five stops at premium restaurants on the V+C: Taste of the Town Center Walking Tour. The participants consisted of two co-producers of the event, 12 tour mates (more like team mates), one photographer, one videographer, five toasts, and we shared five delicious appetizers paired with five mystery bottles of wine. The blind wine tasting concept they used was multi-dimensional and offered an unbiased sampling session. We discovered our taste preferences and the characteristics of the wine individually. Everyone was fully engaged trying to figure out the elements of what we were tasting and what we liked and didn't like about the wine's structure. V+C shared interesting fun facts about each mystery bottle of wine after it was revealed which I enjoyed very much. There were no stingy pours. As a matter of fact, V+C was very generous during the entire event with the pours, the pairings, and an adorable cookie favor for everyone and plenty of good vibes. They provided pens to jot down notes on their brand's stationery notecard which also acted as a fan. By the end of the second stop I was gliding gracefully through the walking tour without a care in the world. It was so much fun hanging out with a new circle of groovy people exploring and just being in the moment. The time for this walking tour flew by. I'm looking forward to doing this again in the very near future.

There was 10 of us, but only 4 who drink beer. My sister and I enjoy wine and I spotted this gem right across the street! We split a tasting for $15 and tried 4 samplings of wine. Chardonnay- which wasn't dry enough for my sisters taste, cranberry- we both enjoyed this light wine, blueberry which was lightly sweet and lastly strawberry. The strawberries were harvested from Plant City and this was like summer in a bottle. I picked that one to take home. Even my sister was impressed with this bottle. Cranberry was her favorite. There were a couple other ladies who came in as we were finishing our tasting and they left with several bottles and very happy. I love the shop and I am sure to be back!

**Great Experience & Excellent Service!**…read more As a Cooper's Hawk Wine Club member from Virginia, I always enjoy visiting different locations when I travel. This location is fairly new since my last visit to the Jacksonville area, as I usually visit the Southside Town Center location. Heidi welcomed me and got my tasting started. She was warm, friendly, and very cordial. She later handed me off to Isaac, and he absolutely made my visit. Once I shared that I was a Wine Club member who simply wanted to relax and enjoy my tasting, he understood the assignment! He was attentive without hovering, kept my pours coming, and gave me the space to just chill--that was exactly my vibe. Isaac's customer service was genuine, effortless, and memorable. I left feeling relaxed, appreciated, and simply...nice. He truly sealed my trip to the 904! I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in the Jacksonville area. Thank you, Heidi and especially Isaac, for making my visit such an enjoyable one!
