I asked them to clarify we were discussing the same tour as I took the dates directly from their site. Even snottier return email full of highlights and captilization that the dates I was requesting were wrong. I provided them a screen shot of their site with the dates I was requesting and told them the dates they kept highlighting for me for a trip three weeks earlier would not work. And, perhaps they should update their site. No response, no offer to help find another trip, just snarkiness. THIS agency exemplifies why I rarely use travel agencies! Had them in my sights for two seperate trips; their lack of professionalism steered me away.

This is the second time we've booked hotels and flights with them and we are thoroughly impressed!! Our first trip was to Las Vegas in December, and Sofia (the lovely, dedicated owner) managed to find a deal for the W in Vegas (a 5 star hotel) for three nights, a concert ticket, and flights to and back from Seattle for under a thousand dollars. Upon arrival, we were greeted with champagne and free appetizers because this was their opening weekend. Apparently, we had gotten a beautiful (new) suite with all the amenities and two coupons for cocktails as well. Not what we were expecting for $150 a night! It was a phenomenal trip, which could not have been possible without Sofia's help. We checked back later, and found that our room would have normally gone for $300 a night! Our second trip was to Cancun in January, and she managed to score another 5 star hotel (all-inclusive, with drinks) for five nights, flights, and two day tours for under two thousand dollars. We had a private beach, beautiful room, and amazing views--but no outrageous price tag! When you book with Go Travel, you eliminate the stress of traveling and just get to enjoy the experience. We simply told Sofia our budget, goals for the trip, and preferences for flight seating and hotel style. Within an hour we had our tickets booked, itinerary ready, and a list of useful suggestions on where to go/eat during our stay. She even sent us reminders, made sure everything was ready upon arrival, and checked in on us during the trip to make sure we had no concerns. I got a confirmation email immediately after booking which was convenient. They allowed me to modify my reservation easily when I needed to change my arrival date. The decor and interior design is beautiful, I wish I had taken more photos but I got so sucked in to exploring I barely used my phone this stay. There is not a single bland square inch of this property, everything is thoughtfully curated and well designed. I loved how every wall has hand painted art on it. The lighting both indoor and outdoors is warm and soft, which is such a rare treat in a day and age when everywhere else has harsh cold LEDs everywhere. The rooms are dark but in a comforting and pleasant way. There are large windows that let in plenty of natural light. I was extremely impressed with the cleanliness of the bathroom in our hotel room. For such a wet, humid environment, it is nearly impossible to have a bathroom without mold, yet they accomplished this somehow! My husband and I were fascinated, this is probably the only bathroom we have ever seen in our lives with absolutely zero mold. There was also NO dust in the room whatsoever. We got the Romance Package which included a bottle of champagne (nicely placed in an ice bucket), engraved souvenir champagne flutes, a little box of 4 bite sized chocolates, and some floral massage oil, all of which was placed in the room prior to arrival.I appreciate the pet friendly additions such as placement on the ground floor, doggie bags, and a bowl. The room did not have any pet smell either. All of the staff was incredibly kind and friendly, but Conor at the front desk especially went above and beyond to accomodate us. Even when the front desk was busy and he had multiple phone calls come through, he was attentive and patient with everyone. He also gave us a box for our champagne flutes and a wine stopper for our bottle so we could take it with us. We had one minor inconvenience during our stay and he made sure we were appropriately compensated. Really outstanding service overall from Conor! I also purchased a passport and received a prize for getting all the stamps. It's such a cute little addition that encourages exploration. If you stay here, you absolutley need to view the whole property! The lush landscaping and themed buildings are so special. All of the other businesses and restaurants onsite were amazing, which I will be reviewing separately. We visited 3 restaurants, and all 3 had amazing food. The Passion Play was awesome. But that was the only good things about the tour. We had to walk for blocks and blocks in the rain one night for dinner because the bus driver had left. Not fun for most of the elderly on the tour. What? More schnitzel?? We tried to contact them about our experience but was never able to connect with anyone. The guides were helpful, informative and efficient. The forest scenery was absolutely gorgeous with a light drizzle of rain. I have done several zip line tours and this one definitely had safety locked down. It required no athletic ability so it was easy for someone in their sixties and a child who barely weighed enough to be included. What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. The location was stunning! Did I mention the lavender lemonade was such a special treat?!
