Both locations have lots to choose from. If you're in town on a holiday weekend especially, you should check out the outlets. Most stores have great deals read more

Always great deals on clothes for my wife and me. Even a tool store that I can spend hours in. I am always impressed by the cleanliness.

We love this place.. Always a must stop for our Beach trips. Some of the stores don't seem much like "outlets", but a lot of then do.

I love Tanger Outlets...Nice variety of stores, clean modern atmosphere. The restrooms are clean and accessible. I went into Customer Service to get my free coupon book through AAA and ended up signing up for their customer reward program, might as well be rewarded for my shopping! I shop often at the outlets and do find the prices to be discounted. The only negative I have, and it is not Tanger's fault, is that the sales clerks at several of the stores were very grumpy...maybe it was all the rain...but my husband and I both commented on their attitudes. read more

Love the Tanger Outlets on 501. Always a great selection of stores to choose from. Many good values. Like the VF Outlet, Chico's, Under Armor, Jockey to name a few. Staff are very friendly and helpful. read more

We go here every year and some years its great. It was so so this time. We got the coupon book which we didn't use at all. The vitamin world which I always visit because there is no longer one close to my home, did not have a single bottle of what I went there for. The guy said none in the back, none on the shelf. I had a 10% off coupon, if they had any of what I went there for. Most of the coupons you get something off if you spend $85 or so. I didn't see anything much to buy. I usually spend a lot of time in the Clark's outlet. The clearance like previous times had the sizes so weirdly mixed it was hard to look through. If they would just put all the sizes together it would helpful. I have complained before and its the following year, same problem. I wear a 6 wide, and having to look through shelves and shelves to isolate the wides is a pain. Can you just put them all together, then it would take me 5 minutes to try on the 3 or 4 pairs you have, instead of having to search through shelf after shelf. I like Vanity Fair clearance outline and I did buy two tops there for very little. I can usually find pants and all sorts of tops at great prices. I must have tried on 15 tops and only found 2 that looked good after trying on. They had no pants for women in my size. They did have some men;s pants at a great price, but did not have my husband's size on hand. I went to both outlets with lots of money and spent almost nothing, $5 at one place, less than $15 at another. read more

I'm writing 4, as I would rather put 1 for the customer service and 5 for the outlet itself. As a loyal Tanger Outlet shopper all over, I was very disturbed by the customer service lady today. I didn't realize coupon books were available so I went to inquire and was met with a weird attitude as if I didn't know what I was doing looking for one and since my last name couldn't be found. I was offered no way to sign up for a ranger membership either. She then just said ok, sorry at the end and in a "I'm trying to be peppy but I hate my job" voice the whole time. She needs further training on getting people signed up for the membership, especially those who spends lots at Tanger. Still a loyal tanger customer! read more

Very nice outlet stores. Located in a great location. Well maintained and clean. Nice selection of stores. Not over busy.

We visited and were looking for the office to get a coupon book. We had made one purchase prior to finding the office. When we found the office and received our book we realized it had a coupon for the store we had purchased. We returned to the store and were told we could not use the coupon because they did not allow returns only exchanges. (Dazzle Me). I wish the person would have asked if we had a coupon and we would have made a point to get the book first. We had a wonderful lunch at Ruby Tuesday's and the server was very friendly and helpful. read more

visited 2/12/2018 2 pm-4 pm. very clean location including restrooms, plenty of stores to shop and great deals. each staff member I spoke to stated there was no food court within the tanger outlets so we had to cut our shopping short here. read more

In past years stores like cole Haan and saks kept me coming back. I was disappointed with the selection of retailers. Lacked appeal

Had a good time there but beware of the vending machines. They will take your money and give you nothing back. I called the phone number on the machine and still haven't received my refund of $2. read more

some stores are just outstanding. due to the quality of help they offer due to their staff. Eddie Bauer Jessica - her smile and service to customers cant be beat keeps us coming back. Reebok - staff knows their stuff Darren knew exactly what i wanted read more

I had a wonderful experience yesterday morning (12/5/16) at the Tanger Outlet in Myrtle Beach on Hwy 501. I went to the customer service office with a question. The lady working behind the counter was extremely kind and went out of the way to make sure I was aware of discount opportunities. She checked on my membership status voluntarily and informed me that I had lifetime membership (which I'd apparently forgotten). She set me up with a new card and explained the current and upcoming promotions. A+ customer service! read more

Did some shopping here today (3-26-17) at Tommy Hilifiger. Found CJ to be very helpful and friendly. He made the whole experience wonderful. And he's nice looking to boot. read more

The person at the Tanger services shop was so helpful and polite! It was a pleasant experience and we enjoyed our day of shopping:) The stores willingly accepted our coupons and we saved big! read more

Definitely not a bad place to go, nice and clean. Have been about three times all spanning over three years. Each year has been nice. Only downside is the choice of stores - wouldn't mind trying the Highway 17 outlets, maybe next year. read more

I visited the Tanger outlet mall on 501 this August. I'm from New Jersey so outlet shopping is nothing new. As stated previously there are a few high end stores but most are what you can find in a local mall. Regardless, I had to exchange a pair of sneakers for my daughter at Skecher and they were excellent. The customer service was excellent, Morgan did a great job. Because he did a great job I ended up spending more money. Keep up the good work Skecher's! read more

Had a great experience at this Tanger and spent a lot of money. I do wish that they had an automatic way of capturing receipts. However, we really appreciated the free stroller upon arrival and the gifts that we received after having our receipts manually entered. read more

I thoroughly enjoy shopping a Tanger Outlets. They have a variety of stores to meet my needs as a mother, as well as a grandmother. i like the extra savings through the coupon booklet, and appreciate the bonuses throughout the year. Also many stores give military discounts. Definitely a place for all ages!! read more

While there are maps of the stores it would be useful if there were a guest relations person walking around instead of having to find the Customer service office that is always in a different place and wasting time. read more

Whenever my husband and I are in Ocean Isle Beach, NC, we always try and make a trip to Tanger. Why? The prices! The convenience of my favorite stores all together! And I have to say that I had a bit of a problem with an electronic tag being left on an article of clothing. You know the ones that cause loud beeping when you leave the store? Well, somehow it was left on and discovering it when I returned home was very disconcerting. I called the Haines store and they suggested I come back in. I said, "you don't understand I'm 45 minutes away and I'm not coming back in." So the young lady that was helping me said she'd talk to her manager and get back to me the next morning. The issue was resolved quite painlessly when Haines sent me a new pair of sweatpants to my home. Now that's awesome service read more

Pleasurable day shopping. We found terrific bargains throughout the stores. Crocs and Cooking Connection are 2 of my favs. Parking was easy and accessible. Restrooms were clean and we did not encounter the first grumpy sales person. It was a stellar day for boosting the local economy! read more

There are 2 Tanger Outlets In Myrtle Beach, one on 17, one on 501. This outlet is 501. For two outlets located so close, you'd think that maybe they'd spend the money renovating this Tanger instead of the other one, after all this outlet is 10+ years older than the other center. The 17 location has just been renovated from the ground up... Also, 501 has SO MANY stores closing right now. Maybe they'll finally put some stores worth coming to like they did at 17. They need stores here like MK, Bath and Body works, Victoria's Secret, Vineyard Vines could make a fortune out here. They are now adding an Old Navy outlet store, but let's be real here, there's 2 other stores in 10-12 miles, and they're all difficult to shop. AND to top things off, they don't even have a food court. So if ur hungry while shopping, better hope a auntie Anne's pretzel or HWY 55 burgers and Fries will cut it. Anyways. Maybe 2018 will hold some major changes for this Tanger, because as of now, I only go for the kids stores for my 2 boys, and even those stores are spread so far apart you have to literally move your car just to go down to crazy 8 or Osh b'gosh read more

Experience affected by the cold, but stores were warm and welcoming. Associate at Auntie Anne's Pretzel was cheerful and offered coffee as a beverage option since it was so cold. He was very pleasant and engaged me in conversation while I was waiting. Spent a good deal of time in Dress Barn trying on clothing and looking for a warm dress to wear for Valentine's Day. The sales associate Janevah was amazing and helped bring different sizes to the dressing room, and even brought me a cute little red dress to try since she knew I was looking for Valentine's wear. (dress was not going to be warm enough but it was darling). It was so convenient having someone bring me sizes rather than having to get dressed and go out into the store to find another size. Made the experience fun rather than a chore. Loft had some great items, but I was not quite ready for Spring wear and found selection of winter wear limited. Parking was a bit of an issue as some of the areas for parking are very tight and difficult to manuver if there is more than one car in the aisle. The layout of the center doesn't make it easy to hit every store as it is set out end to end with a few side alleys and there is no particular grouping of stores so if you want shoes, you would have to go from one end to the other to see every shoe store. But overall, a great day and came home with some great items at great prices read more
