I like this a little less than the other Tanger Outlets, but they are closer to home. Being right on 501 makes it harder to get here in traffic. Parking is not the greatest here either. Depending what store you want to visit also may mean this is not the Tanger for you. I like Coach, Polo, and a few others here but the other Tanger has a few other stores I like plus a Starbucks, which is a plus. Regardless, I still think this is a great set of outlets to get some good deals. read more

There are actually two Tanger Outlets in the Myrtle beach area, we had stopped here first and was slightly disappointed at how small it was compared to other outlets I've seen (didn't realize this wasn't the bigger Tanger Outlet) They had decent stores but not many compared to the other Tanger Outlets in the area. The only perk is that there's a Nike store here compared to the other one, however taxes in NC are insane compared to MA. Even if it's an outlet, the costs of things ends up being the same as if I were going to pay full price because of taxes so maybe I'll stick to shopping in MA. read more

Great outlet, with some pretty cool shops. We visited several stores and many had excellent prices and sales. Located nearby the tourist areas and overall great layout. Awesome! read more

If I have a few extra dollars (ok, lots of extra dollars), I do enjoy going to Coach at the Tanger Outlet. They sell some outlet quality, and store quality handbags and accessories. The greeter at the door is very kind and guides you to what you might be looking for. They have a clearance section in the right rear. Several associates roam the store looking forward to assisting you. The cashiers will even wrap your purchases, so when you go home, you feel as if you were opening a present. Sometimes you have to wait on line. If you hold onto your receipt, they give no fuss returns. I just love this store. read more

During our last day in MB we decided to do a little shopping. Actually we didnt plan to shop much, mainly wanted to go to the Nike store. However, to our surprise we wind up buying a lot of stuff from various stores for really good deals. I'm glad we decided to go because of the good deals we got. Wear your walking shoes. read more

It's gotten better since we visited this outlet mall last time. A few high-end stores have cropped up here like Kenneth Cole, etc. My sister found some reasonably priced Birkenstock sandels at the QVC outlet. Overall, not a bad place to visit. However, I would have liked to visit the sister Tanger outlet nearby on Rte 17. This was more convenient since it was closer to our hotel and on the way back from shopping more inland- Costco and the nearby mall. read more

Layout is not intuitive or convenient. Selection is limited and uninteresting... Especially since prices are better at TJ Maxx with more interesting clothing options read more

Much more regular mall prices than at other locations. I expect this each time I'm at one of these "outlet " malls. Sometimes you may find a deal. Sometimes just expensive merchandise like everywhere else. We were hoping to find a few back to school items, but it wasn't really worth it. I did, however hope to find a pair of Coach sunglasses cheap, and I did. A nice luxury item treat. Don't expect much, maybe you'll get lucky. read more

I'm giving this rating not because of customer service but for layout of the center. Not a user friendly outlet at all. They do have a map pamplet but some posters hanging up would be great. Love the stores and friendly staff. The variety of stores is superb. Wish they had a Forever21 outlet! read more

Great experience. Great selection of stores. Customer service was great. Even the bathrooms were clean and stocked. Something for everyone! It's easy to get to as well and that's always preferable. read more

Tanger Outlets Myrtle Beach Hwy 501 - Shopping and ice cream!! What else do you need!? - Outlet Stores Near Me - Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

I wanted to return a brand new unwear tshirt that didn't fit to my son we lost the receipt at home then we found it ...champions store at the hwy 17 I had the receipt it was a little bit after 3 months of the purchase I talked to the old lady there She said she couldn't help me out I knew she could..all she gave was an attitude..and I eve asked for an exchange and she said no ..we won't go back to that place read more

Even on this rainy day, we decided to walk around an open mall. Yea. We're wild and crazy like that! Lots of different stores to choose from! Because of hubby's addiction to tennis shoes, we hit a lot, if not all of the appropriate shoe stores. He was THIS close to finding the shoes of his dream but didn't quite make it. I, on the other hand, found many things to buy but my favorite was a purse from Harley Davidson. I was expecting the purse to be pricey but it was actually more economically prices than I expected. Nice. We have been here in the past and this was a very nice, relaxing trip because the outlet was nearly empty due to the rain. Perfect time to go shopping!! read more

I come here pretty often, considering I don't live too far away. The service here is pretty good, associates are willing to go out of their way to help you find what you are looking for. They provide a coupon booklet you can use at any Tanger outlet. My favorite places to shop here and are relatively large are Ralph Lauren, Coach and Nike. Prices are decent, would definitely recommend going here. It's never too busy to find parking and it's located right off highway 501 with many food locations located nearby read more

Variety of stores, not so much if hungry, Staff at stores friendly, some new places- great editions, always good deals to get. Places to eat line 501 in front of Tanger. read more

Large outlet mall with lots of stores. Mostly shoes and clothing but a few different ones, tool outlet, pet store, candy. Normal outlet pricing but you can find good sales and get extra discounts using the coupon book available at the mall office. Good place to spend a few hours away from the beach SceneKit remember it's NOT a enclosed mall so on rainy days you could get a little wet. Does have connecting roofs. Found good prices on shoes and some clothing items, but it took a lot of walking, lots of parking but to spread out and confusing to get back to where you parked. Getting a meal almost requires a short drive, new restaurants being opened and or built but on connecting roads not in the mall, mostly national chains . read more

I feel VIP in this Outlet , is always has no crowd, and maybe because of this little fact , there is more options and the staff is super friendly . read more

So much fun! Get ready for a day of walking but, it's worth it to shop. I just wished they had bigger sizes for men shoes, where we wouldn't have to order online. That's why you lose a star. Other than, we had a good time. read more

Tanger Outlet is good place to shop, however if you are going to Clark's on 501 location dnt bother people are rude and they make their own rules of how would they applied coupon or not, if question is asked they will tell you Dnt let the door hit you out. Customer service rated -1. I am not sure if Tanger outlet print coupon to bring people in just so they people can be treated bad if it's presented. I gave 3 star cause it's a nice place to walk around to kill time. Once again if you don't wanted to get disrespected by store people do not go to Clark's. Very very rude people. Just wanted to warn good people. read more

Very clean and lots of great deals to be had. The stores I visited had very friendly and helpful staff. Bought a lot of nice clothing here. Over all it was a positive experience, even on a rainy day. read more

Typical outlet mall....you really have to be aware of regular store pricing before you go here. There are good deals to be found...depending on what you are looking for, what time of year you go and whatever over abundance of items are sent to a particular store. Fun to walk around and look for bargains sometimes. read more

Layout was a little odd but enjoyed looking at all of the stores! There were some good sales and it provided a nice experience if you want to take a break from the beach / pools for a day. read more

Tanger Outlets are awesome anywhere you go so this location won't let you down!! All of your basic outlet stores are there and they're easily accessible. The outlet isn't extremely huge to the point where you can't walk the entire outlet. There are a number of restaurants nearby so you can always take a break and come back if you need a boost of energy! The staff was friendly and helpful at all of the stores we stopped in. read more

Shopping while on vacation was always a must! Our family loves going to the outlets and the tanger outlets on 501 had everything we'd want to shop in! Great location, easy access to main route! Wish they had a few other popular stores to shop at! read more

Typical outlet/strip mall. Very clean. Looks to be fairly new. If it was raining you will get wet crossing the streets to go to other stores, no covered walks over the roads. This seems to be the trend with Tanger Outlets. read more

As I said in my other review, there are two Tanger outlets in MB. They are not close to each other, and have the same stores. I think this one has higher prices due to greater foot traffic. read more

I love this outlet, I live in the area and I know for sure this is the best place to shopping. Very well renewed, clean bathroom and excellent deal, don't forget a discount book read more

Very nice as far as outlet malls go. Clean, very few empty stores, people who wanted to help you, free coupons if you qualify under like 10 different designations. Unfortunately there were no coupons for the 2 places we shopped, Nike and Forever 21. The time of super low outlet prices are mostly past, as many retailers create merchandise just for the outlets. However if you stack clearance with coupons you can clean up. read more

Nice location on 501, has many of my fave stores....Crocs, Columbia Outlet, Jockey, VF, Christopher and Banks... found a few good deals on my last trip. read more

I have never been to the other outlets here in Myrtle except for these and every time I am pleased! They offer a great selection of coupons and stores to shop at. Some of their sales are good, others are okay. There is plenty of parking, but not much of a food selection except for Auntie Anne's. All in all its an outlet mall and you either like them or you don't. read more

I shop here often as it is close to where I live. I always find something here. The staff in the Bass store is always friendly and helpful. I like the Columbia store as well. Too bad they took out Rocky Mountain chocolate factory. I loved that place! read more

Great shopping center... Sales all the time.. Great stores to shop for whatever u want/need..

My wife & I shop here often, and most store are accommodating with cordial employees, but we had an issue with a tool store that I brought to the attention of Tanger management. To my surprise I received a response, and they in turn contacted the store about the issue. Of course the tool store did not respond. Tanger issue me a gift card as apology for the stores treatment! read more

I only give this location a 4 star because the bathrooms are so nasty. There was poop in just about every stall and you could smell it before you even got into the bathroom. Other than that it is a great place to shop. They have everything clothing wise. You can catch some good deals, but i do not see why it is considered an outlet. Prices are pretty much the same. read more

What a great location to shop for some good deals with plenty of brands to pick from. Was visiting from Toronto, Canada and was very happy with the shopping experience. Managed to save immensely on Tommy Hilfiger and Hanes. I also appreciated the free WiFi which made the experience even better. Not too crowded since it was the end of Dec (off season). Will return when in town again and potentially check out other locations. read more

Tanger Outlets Myrtle Beach Hwy 501 - Outlet Stores Near Me - Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

I love going to the QVC Outlet Store in Myrtle Beach. You never know what they are going to have. Since I am a huge fan of Temptations, I love the prices they have on the cookware and I do not have to pay shipping since I live here. I like the choices of this outlet more than the North Store. However there are good choices at both. read more

Like most Tanger Outlets this location is huge with quite the selection of stores for men, women, and children! Easy to walk and well laid out. Not my favorite stores so I would probably skip this location next time I am in the area but there are other Tanger Outlets I like more! read more

If you have been to Tanger outlets before, you will know what this one is all about. I enjoy Tanger because I can usually find some great deals. I don't like the layout as much as the Tanger on Hwy 17 but Nike had some really good sales. Hence the reason for four stars. This outlet is never as crowded as it sister outlet. read more

This is a decent outlet with a variety of stores...there are a few stores that seem to be unique to the area, which is nice. The area had plenty of signage, was clean and nicely laid out. There were a few places to grab a bite to eat too. There were several Italian Ice vendors around too which is great since it's so hot. I'd definitely visit again. read more

Good place for bargains on name brand merchandise. Almost everyone qualifies for some discount on already reduced prices.
