We walked into this super fun kitchy outrageously entertaining shop…read more I was looking for a " short north" baseball cap. I think he was one of the owners, but he came over to me and he was so sweet. He was trying to show me everything in the shop that said short north.. He was adorable ... I was very close to buying a T-shirt that said " Brohio" So funny everything in this shop was adorable. They were so friendly.

Let me just get straight to the point. This shop is dope af. It's located in the heart of the Short…read moreNorth, directly off High St, and has been around for freakin' 25 years. My first item from here was given to me as a gift, a shirt that said "Are you high?" on it. Pretty funny if you know that they are located on High St. If you don't, it's still funny. Whenever I wear it out people always make comments about it, it's hilarious. Most recently I purchased an iridescent cropped puffer jacket for about $80 and I'm obsessed with it. I was legit just walking by on a Saturday morning and I saw it... then had to have it! Torso is described as a menswear boutique as they have a big selection of men's underwear and "swimwear" but as a female raver, this place is a jackpot for fun clothes and accessories for those late nights when I'm dancing my butt off. They have quirky glasses, masks, hats, super funky clothing, fun toys and knick knacks, and more. If you're on the hunt for a unique gift for a friend, they could very well have something for you to wrap up. As for me, I'll continue to shop here for fun festival/rave clothes and when people ask me where I got them... Torso baby!!!

Just a few miles north of…read moreInterstate 270, this is the place to bring finer Mens and ladies shoes for the attention needed to keep them in good shape for years to come. As evidenced in my photos, they do provide reselling services and corking services for Birkenstocks. This is a service that sometimes can be difficult to find, but they do a great job, and I was pleased with the work completed. I've had my Birkenstock sandals for years and, thanks to Dr. Shoe. they are a comfortable lifetime investment.

You walk in and the place is full of stuff; People's boots, purses, luggage, leather briefcases, leather jackets, and much much more. I had a simple problem. I needed a pair of boots stretched. I have large feet. Sasquatch like. I brought in my Ariats that have been sitting in my closet for 3 years now. The owner is behind a counter piled up with jobs he is working on and equipment he uses to do his craft. He is brusque. "$45. 2 weeks" I think at first "That's a lot to stretch some boots" I go back. He says, brusquely "If they are still tight tell me where, toes, ankles, shaft/calves? I will stretch again" I tell him that I am leaving for work and that I am a flight attendant and I won't be back in town for a month, can I try them when I get back and let him know? He looks at me and nods. I finally get home and try the boots they fit great. So in this crazy economy is $45 a lot of money? To me it is, but to pay a craftsman for a craft that will soon be hard to find, it is well worth it. Bottom Line: my expensive boots have finally made it out of the closet thanks to Dr. Shoe! Extra points for honesty - I went in the other day with a large cheap piece of luggage that had the zipper broken on an outer pocket. He said it will cost you double the cost of a new suitcase to repair that because it would have to be done all by hand and I would have to charge for my time. Thank you!

I'm a huge fan of '70s fashion and absolutely fell in love with a pair of high-waisted, straight-leg denim jeans. Sadly, they were a bit too tight in the waist, even though the fit everywhere else was perfect. While I'm not overly fond of the pricing, I do understand it--because for the perfect, high-quality pair of vintage jeans, I'd absolutely pay the price. I didn't leave empty-handed though; I walked out with a super cool pair of sunnies that I'm obsessed with. Huge thanks to my lovely sweetheart for finding this gem of a store! I'm already looking forward to another visit and potentially checking out their Cleveland location as well.

This store specializes in vintage finds. they have furniture, glassware, jewelry, clothing, vinyl records, and a lot of other really cool pieces. You could spend a few hours in here, looking at everything they had. Their vintage clothing selection is quite extensive, although we both felt that the pieces were a bit overpriced. It was definitely a fun way to spend a few hours, but again we didn't spend any money because the clothing was so pricey. If you're looking for some unique vintage items this is definitely the place to look

Unfortunately, the customer service was a completely different story. It's a very small boutique, yet we were never acknowledged--not a hello, not an offer to help, nothing. Meanwhile, the manager/owner appeared completely occupied with another woman who dominated the conversation at length about having so many clothing options that she couldn't decide what to wear to an upcoming event. We browsed for quite a while and were fully prepared to spend money, but after being completely ignored, we ultimately decided to leave. For a small boutique, the personal shopping experience should be part of what makes you want to shop there rather than online or at a larger retailer. The merchandise at Ladybird was lovely, but unfortunately the lack of even basic acknowledgment made us feel as though our business simply wasn't important. Such a shame, because we really wanted to love this store.
