I purchased a YSL bag on Poshmark for discounted price because it was damaged and brought it to Dr Shoe. The leather on the corner was exposed and the paint was peeling. I saw the good reviews and put my faith in Dr Shoe to restore this bag to original perfection! I was quoted two weeks to fix the bag which seemed like a long time but they were very communicative with me and the prices are reasonable. I absolutely stunned with how gorgeous this bag looks! There really isn't much else I can say verbally so I will let the pictures speak for themselves! Thank you Dr Shoe I highly recommend!

"Fixed" job from other shop

If I could give this Shoe Repair shop 10 stars I would! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! long story short: My wife's expensive / luxury tennis shoes had the heel slightly chewed up by a friend's dog, and I had previous taken them to another shoe repair shop in the Columbus to be repaired. The other place looked like they spent maybe 10 minutes trying to repair the shoes. This "fix" was not going to cut it. So I regrouped and brought the shoes into Dr Shoe, and he brought these shoes back to life, and my wife could not be more happy. 10/10 would recommend.

Repair that looks like it was original

I have an investment-quality laptop backpack that I use for weekly travel. It takes a beating getting shoved under airplane seats and packed to the brim. Needless to say, it was in need of a repair. The connectors the original manufacturer used were just too flimsy. After doing my research and exchanging messages with the gentleman from Dr. shoe, I decided to give him a try. When I picked up the bag, I was relieved to find it was better then When I bought it! I'm not sure why these heavy duty straps weren't a part of the original bag, knowing it was for laptop use, but I'm confident I can get many more years with the repair that was done at this location. I would highly recommend.

While at the airport in Los Angeles, I noticed that one of my son's Coach backpack strap was ripping at the seams. The rest of the backpack was in great condition. I was on my way to drop my son off at Ohio Wesleyan University (OWU) for his sophomore year. When we arrived at our hotel in Columbus, I went on Yelp to find a shoe/purse repair that was nearby. I found Dr. Shoe Worthington. Dr. Shoe Worthington Yelp page allowed me to "Request a Quote!" I took pictures of the damage and asked if I could bring the bag there for repair the next day with a two day turnaround. The owner, Yakov K. replied to me within 10 minutes. He told me that he could repair it and to bring it by in the morning. When I arrived, Yakov K. greeted me and looked at the damage. He confirmed that he could repair it and have it back to me in two days. I came back two days later and the repair was PERFECT! It look like it did when I first purchased it. Yakov told me that he was an authorized Coach repairman and that he guaranteed his repairs. I was impressed very happy with the customer service I received and would recommend Dr. Shoe Worthington to anyone who needs quality work done. Thank you Yakov!

My favorite every day Louis Vuitton bag was severely damaged and ripped. In 45 days, Dr. Shoe had me ready to go. His work and customer service are impeccable. Also, the timeline was much faster than Louis Vuitton. I am extremely satisfied.

I took a pair of 15 year old Birkenstocks to Dr. Shoe and they were in really poor condition. The cork was damaged at the heel and I wasn't even sure if they could be resoled. My mind was blown when I picked them up- the cork had been repaired and the soles were perfect! Definitely worth the cost and wait to have them repaired. I'll be returning with boots to see if Dr. Shoe Worthington can work their magic again!

Louis Vuitton chapes

He didn't do so great on my Louis Vuitton. I asked for the handle chapes to be replaced, but when I got the bag back he had only replaced a small piece each them with material that was sewn on top of part of the original . This has left my bag noticeably disfigured. I'm truly disappointed and feel that I wasted $100's of dollars on a repair that is subpar. He did do a really good job on my Burberry bag replacing a snap that matched perfectly. This is why I am giving 3 stars.

My tall boots before: both heels are worn off, and the leather on the one has become eroded.

Nice guy. Has fixed several pairs of boots for me, and a leather duffle bag that belongs to my stepson that my husky puppy chewed up.

Great work just expensive. I took 4 pair of shoes and the soles were $74/each for repair.

Pretty much what I expected of a shoe repair shop in downtown Westerville. Small but neat shop,…read morelots of shoe accessories available. Friendly, expert owner. Reasonable prices, and helpful explanations of what repairs could be made. My mom brought her sandals for repair, replacing them would be expensive, but the repairs are reasonable. It'll take a few weeks, but it's an old-school shop with no extra staff. Oh, one surprise: when I walked in I saw they sold hot sauce and a few other things, diversifying income. No biggie. But I saw cat towers and toys and beds all over, thought maybe he sold them too. Nope, just there for the playful shop kitten. Super cute, skittish but friendly. Shop dogs and cats are a plus in my book.

I paid $110 per pair to have two pairs of Red Wing boots repaired, and this place still managed to…read morescrew up the basics. I was told my boots would be ready. They weren't. That wasted my time and forced me to make another trip. When I finally picked them up, I still had to put in new laces, clean the boots, and condition the leather myself. That's basic craftsmanship. If I'm paying premium prices, I shouldn't have to finish the job at home. That's like paying for a steak and having to cook it yourself. The shop was a mess, and the workmanship matched it--sloppy. No attention to detail, no pride in the work, just "good enough." This was my first and last time here. I'll take my boots straight to Red Wing from now on. If you're charging top dollar, start delivering top-dollar work.

I only take my shoes here! Daryl is the best and very attentive to detail at a fair price. He gets…read moreit right every time and goes above expectations. He is thorough in the best way; he doesn't just repair what issues are requested, but he evaluates and repairs each item comprehensively to really get the most life out of it. He repairs things to last - no shortcuts or band aids. For example, I brought in heels with gouging in the leather along the back of the heel. They had a unique layered leather wrap. I expected a patch at best with such a unique material. Daryl did one better - he special ordered an exact match! You could not tell the difference between the shoe with the original material and the shoe with the heel wrap replacement. This is just one out of many experiences I have had there - none of them are negative!

How do you mess with someone in the land of shoe repair?…read moreWell ... 1) You could put oversized heals on their boots to unbalance it. 2) Then say, it's "regulation," oh OK. 3) Then put black paint all over their leather soles. 4) Then hand them a boot with wet paint so their hand is blackened. 5) Then leave glue on upper portion of their boot. 6) Then, of course, serve the customer who came behind them first. 7) Then say you're securing heal with a nail but don't. 8) Then grind up their good heals, outer edge for max damage (my favorite). Perhaps there was a nail, in the side of sole so it now splits? Thank you so much.
