On December 30th 2023 I was shopping with family in Polaris and said what the heck let's give another go. This time I can honestly say I had some of the best customer service I've had in a long while. Every single employee that I engage with was super nice and very professional. Not to mention that the deals that were going on in the store at the time I was there were amazing I appreciate a good deal. It wouldn't have been fair to the establishment to write them off based off one distasteful interaction I had. I'm certain that the workers are racist, but even if they're not, they're at the very least nasty people who obviously shouldn't be in retail. Another great thing about Lb is: if you need help putting an outfit together, just ask and a stylist will help you, they also do bra fittings. I was wearing the wrong size for so long until I got fitted here. Now the twins get the attention they deserve ;) Yet another perk, if you use your Lb card, you get points toward coupons and periodically they send you a check that you can use in conjunction with a coupon for added savings. Done. Back to business.) Deja Vu is one of those stores where you will find something.... if you look long enough. There doesn't seem to be a consistent style of clothing here, so be prepared to find examples of every era. There's a ton of things here, although there is a lot of variation in quality. My biggest qualm was with the jewelry, which felt way too overexcited-about-the-holidays-and-missed-when-big-brooches-went-out-of-style-ey for me. I honestly enjoy any opportunity to point at something and giggle, but this was too easy. The coat section has some honestly gorgeous finds. I am personally not a big fan of the fur coats, but I ran in to a couple of wool ones that I would love to add to my closet. I'm going to go with the coral reef metaphor for this place: there's tons of variation and something for every animal to eat if it spends enough focused time hunting. My guests were all able to sit in the ample seating in our private room and enjoy our space and treats while I tried on 9 beautiful dresses. Our bridal expert Khirstyn did an amazing job of picking out the perfect dresses for me, listening to my syle, and making it a fun experience for all of us! She even let is revisit dresses I had already tried on. She did a great job, and I recommend her to any brides hoping to feel comfortable and special on their fun day!
