Not the best Indian buffet I have had, the selection was very slim. Food was ok, some dishes were a little dried out.

We were pleasantly surprised at great food. We had butter chicken, rice and nan bread. Service was pleasant and efficient. We will return.

The following refill did not stew long enough the meats taste fresh but need more time for the flavour to set in.

Oakley was our server and he was so kind and informative about the menu and how the restaurant operates. The oyster of the week were the Melpeque's which starts off salty, but compensates the saline flavor with a boom of sea mineral richness. Their house relish and vinegar combined with the oysters intensified the experience and we also had to get the Oysters Florentine which were also decadent and cheesy in the best way possible. Oakley checked in on use occasionally and was also kind enough to give us (since we're Californians) some of the usual things that take place in Calgary (weather, places to check out and etc.) Definitely returning here if we make another trip to Calgary, shout out to Oakley!

When we arrived at the restaurant we were greeted right away but even though we had reservations there was some talk about where to sit us. The main dining was near full and so they offered patio or upstairs. It would be more private upstairs as there was no one up there but they warned us that service was slow. Eventually, they sat us in a booth in the main dining area but it was touch and go in the beginning. Not a great impression. Our server mentioned to us that he was new. We found him very friendly and knowledgeable. We came here for the oysters - we ordered 1 Irish Point, 1 Fanny Bay and 2 Malpeque (I wanted to try one). The Malpeque also was the feature Oyster which means they are $1.50 each. I don't usually eat oysters but thought it was good. My wife says the Irish Point and Fanny Bay were good. Because the Malpeque was good and really meaty we ordered 7 more (I wanted one more). Oysters 5* Lamb Shank 4* - Wife ordered this and said it was tender and good. Lamb Burger 2* - Daughter ordered this and patty was small and dry. Lobster Pasta 4* - Son ordered this and lobster tail was meaty and sweet ad pasta was tender. I decided to order 3 appetizers for my meal. Onion Rings - 3* - basic Korean Spicy Chicken Wings 4* - Good kick, but the wings were not that meaty. Seafood Chowder 4* - Lots of things in the chowder. Broth was flavourful but could have been thicker. Service before we got our meals (ordering) and during our meal was great. 5*. Getting the bill and getting our leftovers packed was a little slow. 3*. Decor inside was quite nice - old world feel. We may not come back for dinner but maybe for the Oysters, some appetizers, and drinks.

The restaurant is located in a little strip mall across from Chinook Centre and has plenty of parking. I had made reservations online but it really wasn't necessary as there were plenty of tables available. The decor inside is very seafaring, fishermen, lobster trapper vibe which is cool. Our server Ayah asked if we were celebrating anything and upon hearing of a birthday told us that she would provide us a complimentary sundae for dessert. Nice! We started with escargot and seafood stuffed mushrooms to start. They were both good - we always like to try how other places does the escargot. Not the best here but it wasn't bad. I did enjoy the stuffed mushrooms though. It was Wednesday when we came which means Fish & Chips day which my daughter and I had. It was good and not greasy. My only issue is the plating consistency. My daughter's fish & chips were larger than mine. I also ordered the Non-Alcoholic Coastal Colada which was so good! My wife got the Snow Crab Legs - which she thoroughly enjoyed. My son even helped her as there were a good size and amount of legs. My son had the kids Mac & Cheese which he liked but as he is a little older now kids meals sometimes is not big enough for growing boys. It got busy during our time here and so service was a little slow. Our server was great - attentive and friendly. We loved the fishing decor. I think we will try and come back again more frequently then last time.

Delicious meals, each and every time that I cannot wait to enjoy. Thank you. Good sea food.read more

We started with the appetizers, the beef carpaccio and Caesar salad, both were excellent and really set a good tone for the evening. The carpaccio was well-seasoned and fresh, and the salad had a nice balance of creamy and crisp. For our main, we went with the Canada Prime bone-in porterhouse, which came with two sides. The jalapeño creamed corn tasted more like jalapeño grits than corn, which threw me off a bit, it wasn't really my thing. The twice-cooked fingerlings with bacon, chives, and sour cream, on the other hand, were delicious, crispy, flavorful, and well-balanced. Unfortunately, the steak itself missed the mark for me. It arrived lukewarm, not hot like you'd expect from a high-end steakhouse, which was disappointing. For a cut that's supposed to be the star of the show, the temperature really detracted from the experience. To finish off, we kept it light with two scoops of gelato, one cherry vanilla and the other a lemon sorbet. Both were refreshing and hit the spot for a light, sweet ending. Service was definitely a strong point, our server was friendly, attentive, and professional throughout the night. Overall, it was a mixed experience: great apps, strong service, but the main event which was the steak it just didn't deliver like I'd hoped. I'd give it another try, but probably order something different next time.

I am not a huge fan of steaks, so I got a few sides. The scallops were cooked to perfection. They melted in my mouth and I would easily order this again. The truffle fries and broccolini were both really good. They would make a great side with a steak. The lobster mac and cheese was my least favourite, it wasn't bad more like average, not a lot of lobster pieces.
