While visiting Calgary for a girls trip, we knew we couldn't leave without having Indian food. We happened upon this place while exploring and it exceeded our expectations! No greasiness, no oiliness like you do find at some Indian restaurants. Everything tasted so fresh and full of flavor. It felt like I was in the heart of Punjab. The saag paneer had a great kick and creaminess to it. The chicken tikka was so tender. I'd never had masala bhaat and the blend of onions and tomatoes was chef's kiss. Loved the shredded paneer over the kulcha with the chole. The naan was definitely fresh to order, not like some places where you can't tell if it's frozen or not. Our waitress was so kind and helpful in picking out dishes. She even went above and beyond to give us tips for places to visit and things to see in the area. We've been back home for two days and all I can think about is how good their food is, but sadly we live over 2,000 miles away. I'll need to find a place by me like Bombay Tiger until I can make a trip back! read more
