Less than two years later, I got to tour the UK again and ended it by spending an extra week up in Scotland. This place had the standard fish and chips, but also had a dozen deep fried items. Pizza, candy, haggis, blood sausage, hot dogs, etc! I tried almost all of it and it was all what you'd expect it to be, delicious! The deep fried pizza was made from the cheapest frozen pizza possible. Battered, fried and served with greasy chips, it's a heart attack in a plastic basket, but so good! I'm pretty sure I even topped it all with salt. But really, the ultimate indulgence was the deep fried haggis. If you know what haggis is made out of, you'll know just that can be pretty rank. Deep frying it just makes it even better. It's no secret why Scotland is such an unhealthy populous, but at least they've got some great fried foods!

What a great chippy!…read more Up until about a year ago, when I was last in, this place only used to sell your traditional "chippy" menu; chips, sausages, fish, black pudding, pies etc. But I decided to pop in the other night because I was craving for a sausage supper and it was always my go-to chippy. Upon entering I noticed they now have big menus up on the wall behind the counter with about 60 things on the menu, and various deals and snack boxes that you can get. They now sell everything, from everything they used to sell, to bolognese and carbonara, various different flavours of pizzas and chicken wings. They also have deals on, like 6 chicken wings and chips for a set price, a large snack box with a bit of everything for a set price (I would write the prices if I knew them!) I was pretty impressed with their selection of things! Fiona's, on top of their now wonderfully extensive menu, has a large selection of Equi's Ice Cream as well, with about 20 different flavours and 3 different sizes of tubs. Yum!

I have been in a few times and there will be no staff at the counter and you have to wait until they come out from the staff room or wherever they are! However, I do appreciate the different options of baguettes, including the more healthy wheat option. Food is usually fresh and tasty with offers of discounts from time to time. The latte's are well worth it and I usually order one of these with an oatmeal and raisin cookie. The seating area itself is not always clean even when it is quiet, but most times I am buying to take out anyway.

The staff are friendly and the food is served fresh. It also sells a selection of ice cream and Italian food as well as the tradional chip shop food. The only downfall is that the delivery service is rather slow and your not guarenteed to get your food hot to your door, It is best to go directly to the shop and pick your food up fresh then and there.
