I kinda walked around the store, checked out the track, and was really excited to get back into the hobby of RC cars. When I came back in from checking the track out, two of the employees including Jason (think that was his name) and what appeared to be a customer/friend were just shooting the breeze all the way at the end of the counter in the corner. They proceeded to all look up at me laugh, look away from me, and look again and proceeded to laugh again. Maybe it was a misunderstanding on my part, but from a customer or human aspect it felt as if I was being laughed at. Maybe it was how I was dressed, maybe it's because I was uneducated and asked the initial guy some questions. I walked out Needless to say, it discouraged me in that moment from wanting to get back into the hobby just due to that. Seemed like they were all buddies from how they were standing there talking. That being said, I'm taking my money to another store here in town and not letting this poor experience ruin the idea of getting back into the hobby. Maybe it was a small drop in this companies bucket, it would have been probably a $380 sale with tax; but hey I'll go spend that somewhere else. I wish you the best with your business, and I hope my experience doesn't happen to someone else. Be it that was possibly unintentional, it's definitely not how you behave with someone who is nervous about trying something again that they haven't done in years.

"The Good" - The staff. Kyle was manning the register the night we were at the store and he is a great guy that can hold a conversation down with pretty much anyone. Also, Romeo was there and it falls back to the old grade school attitude of you give people you respect a hard time because you feel like you already know them. There were other folks running in and out making last minute arrangements on tables and product for the next day and each one gave a smile or a "Hey" as they walked past. - The selection of product is great. Not only do they obviously have the full selection of Battlefoam, there is a large selection of 40K and WFB. The latest kick is Infinity and the full range is stocked. - The scenery used on the tables is top notch and you can tell made with the intention of being played on... - Display cases filled with beautifully painted miniatures. - Gaming area is well lit. - There are stools for you to rest on when you wait for your opponent to make their moves. The staff is fantastic. It was my first time in and they made me feel like a regular. No pressure felt at all. Trading Card Club is a relatively small location but comes in big when it comes to those three categories. The service is great. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and I never once got the sense I was being taken advantage of or was just another customer. They treat my son very well and seem to treat all their young clientele very friendly, which is obviously a key thing that brought us back. You should note that if the shop gets busy, there's limited staff--trading card shops can't have 20 people working the counters--so you may have to be patient. If patience isn't your game, trading cards might not be the right place for you to be anyway, but always enjoy the friendly attitudes and vibes this shop gives off. Whether you're hanging around, opening a box, or just browsing, it's always a chill experience. They also run events and promotions, so keep an eye out for that. And I would note: do your due diligence before bringing in things to sell, because they're not going to buy a giant box of worthless baseball cards, nor are they going to want to comb through 2,000 of your old grandfather's card collection. They will buy solid, valuable assets that they can resell effectively. It is a shop that will obviously give you store credit if desired, which will likely exceed the amount of cash you'll get, but the amount of times I've seen people bring in stuff that they just would never buy in a million years is plentiful. So if you're looking to sell a junk box of cards, I would try Facebook Marketplace and not this shop. Also--side bonus--they have a shop puppy that sometimes hangs out in the front.
