BEWARE!!! Go to a mom and pop salon before this schemey, corporate salon. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of empathy and respect for Military families and unexpected pregnancies. I recently signed a 10 month contract as it was my cheapest option for an unlimited levels 1-3 tanning exp. Becoming a member is always the cheapest option of course, that means constant income for the company. A month later I got a positive pregnancy test from my OB. I went in to Tan your hide to ask what my options were. They wanted a medical document stating that i was pregnant which is my own personal business and I am not comfortable giving that to them. Second, what does it matter? If I am not using the service, I should not have to pay. Period. Situations occur in life. I have worked for multiple big name salons in the Midwest and they were NEVER operated in this way. Clients were treated as human beings and we were to be understanding of real life, important situations. I was treated with no respect as the lady behind the counter could care less about clients or their personal issues. She said my only option was to freeze the account but my payments would still be due and i could then use the time after my pregnancy. I am pregnant. This is a reason for cancellation. LOL. Honey, my husband is enlisted, we move a lot, and he's about to be deployed. I will be in another state throughout his deployment while I am pregnant. The lady said I could only cancel if we showed her permanent change of station orders, which first off that is my own personal business and second, what about him being deployed?! Many wives choose to go home through the deployment, especially if you're pregnant. I refuse to pay for a service that I have not used and will not be able to use. I also was NOT informed of all of this prior to signing which is my fault for not reading the fine print. But I mean come on ladies. This is a tanning salon contract. Im not applying for a damn loan or buying a car. I don't care who you are. We should treat our clients with empathy and respect because they are providing the income to run the business. This is a poorly ran establishment not only for my situation but others that I have read and how unorganized my entire exp. was with them from the start. They will never get another dime from me or anyone that I come into contact with. You can not run a business without happy cliental. read more

Do NOT go to these salons!!! I went in right after salons opened up from covid. As I went in the lady at the front desk was signing someone up ahead of me and kept apologizing for taking so long. Then as signing me up she rushed me because there was more people walking in waiting to tan and sign up. She marked "x's" on where I needed to initial and sign. As I was doing so she kept apologizing and was telling us how's she's gonna retire. ( making me feels so rushed) I got a military membership as I am military and my husband is deployed so I moved here to be with family. I told her I won't be here long but I wanted to get tan before moving back. She said that it wasn't a problem they work with military membership all the time. The store was clean and nice and all the front desk was amazing. My husband's deployment ended earlier then expected so I'm having to move back sooner. So I asked the lady at the front desk to can cancel. She said I need to email my husband's orders to the corporate email so they can cancel, that my orders will cancel the membership. So I did. Corporate emailed me back saying I'm not allowed to cancel as its a 10 month membership! ( why in the world would I sign up knowing I wouldn't be here that long) I also would have signed up sooner if covid didn't effect things. They also stated that they only cancel for pcsing ( moving to a new base. And that's only if they approve it. And they will charge $50 to cancel ) Which all goes against a United States Law (Scra) Military members can cancel at any time with no fees and no penalties because we do move so much and abruptly. The email was also poorly written for a corporate to be emailing me back. As well not signed by who wrote it. I will be telling everyone to NOT go there because of this. This post has nothing to do with the Employees of the locations. I've been to two of them and they all are very nice and helpful. But making me pay for a membership I can't use because I am moving is ridiculous especially the amount I'll be spending on something I have no access to. They will be loosing a lot of business from military families as I will be spreading the word!!! read more

I was a member back in 2011. I tried to cancel or suspend my membership when I lost my job. They said "No, you're under contract." I got behind on payments and was not allowed to use the facility, so they continued to bill me although I could not tan. We tried to cancel or suspend our contract again when my sons mother became pregnant, once again, even with a Dr.'s note we received a "No, you're under contract." After paying for a membership that we couldn't even use, I reluctantly had to cancel my card so I was not being charged $40 for absolutely nothing. I recently checked my credit report only to find that they are claiming I owe them over $800 for facilities that we were unable to use. Long story short, unless you absolutely know there will be nothing unexpected that would affect your membership, don't sign up and end up in the hole they've placed me. Also while discussing this with friends, I discovered another case where a girl was diagnosed with a skin disorder and could no longer tan, once again, even with a Dr.'s note, she was given the same treatment I received. Not to mention the way I was talked down to by every "customer service" representative I spoke to. I called a shop to see if I could speak to anyone in billing today, and was simply given the number to the collections office. read more

I have been going to TYH (at Falcon Landing as well as the location on Austin Bluffs) for a long time and no matter who is there, I am always greeted with a smile. Customer Service is and has been outstanding. They try to accommodate any requests, when I had to take a time out due to surgeries or medical hiccups I seem to run into on occasion. Going there are 12 minutes of a little slice of heaven and when we can squeeze in a few minutes of chatting...it lights up my day. Thank you to all who work there and make it more than just a trip to the Tanning Salon. I would like to especially mention JESSICA at Falcon Landing- the manager and SO MUCH MORE...she truly always walks the extra mile, remembers everyone and makes you feel as if she has been waiting just for YOU to walk into the door. This is seriously the best Tan Your Hide location I have ever used. The past two months I have been getting ready for a tropical vacation and wanted that base tan. I don't tan regularly and had lots of questions. All the girls here were excellent at answer my multiple questions from time to tanning lotion. McKenzie was by far the best of help. I was hesitant to upgrade to a level 3 bed- after talking about it I took the plunge and definitely saw the results I wanted. Thanks again!!! She remembered my name, was approachable and welcoming every day that I saw her. Beds were always clean and ready quickly. No complaints. Best tanning salon in Colorado Springs. I have tried them all and Tan Your Hide trumps them all. Great people, great place, great beds and a great tan. A wonderful woman named Jordan works there and she is one of the nicest employees and was super helpful with all of my questions and concerns and all the staff make you feel very welcome there. I love this salon! It is very clean and has a peaceful feel to it. The beds are brand new and work very well. I love that I can control the fans and music volume from the bed too! I rarely have to wait for a room, and if I do, it's never more then a couple mins. Staff is always friendly and prices are very reasonable! read more
