The salon I normally use was closed!! Not wanting to miss a day tanning - big event coming up - I dropped in at Tan Your Hide for a one time tanning session. Shannen was so helpful and set me up to use the fancy Level 4 bed, which I've never used before. WOW!!! I've never seen a bed is so open and airy but still drowns you in sunny lights. The bed looks like it belongs on a spaceship. I admit to feeling slightly intimidated by it . . . until it started. LOVED IT!!! Best part was seeing instant color in a fraction of the time. Ive been with tan your off and on since '98 or so... Never have I ever experienced such a lack of customer service til Friday 04-10-26. I walked in shortly after the doors were unlocked. The employee, not sure of name and I've never seen her before this, was opening the blinds and I walked in and said hi good morning, followed up a nice eye roll and a why are you here attitude. She then went to the computer to check me in. I asked fo a towel and went to my room. As I was leaving and walking past the desk I put the towel in the bin and looked her way to see if demeanor had changed, another no, it hadn't. I drove over 30 minutes to the North Academy location because the hours are posted open until 6PM on the door and on Google. Upon getting to the location at 5:25, the door was locked and it was closed. As I was on the phone with whoever answered the 260-9487 number, two other people arrived and also attempted to go in. The person on the phone finally gave me corporate's email after a long wait, letting me know that I'd have to go tomorrow in person during business hours or to email corporate to request to cancel my membership. They need to update their Apple Maps and Google business hours, as well as change the hours posted on the door if they are going to close early. Total waste of my time. Update: since I can't rely directly to the business owner, the hours have since been updated on Google and Apple Maps. I did not take a screenshot of those hours on the 17th. If the hours have been modified for over a year, it seems crazy that the hours in large print on the door have not been updated. Can't wait for my membership to expire. read more

I want to advise you to NOT SIGN THE CONTRACT! I repeat, DO NOT SIGN THE CONTRACT or any paper from them at all. I was new to the Springs and saw this tanning bed and thought, "let's give it a try." Unfortunately, I now have them lingering on my credit report for $735 because I was charged a fee of $500 for not staying a member and forfeiting my tanning term. This happened because we had to move back to our hometown in Alabama due to a death in the family. Due to these unforeseen circumstances, they felt it necessary to penalize me even more. Not only did they charge me, but now it's on my credit report (1 more year to go and it's off). If I could give 0 stars I would! read more

I enjoy coming to this location. I have never had any bad experiences, the girls at the counter are friendly and helpful, I like how they use wash clothes in he bathroom instead of paper towels, the facility and beds are always clean, they give a military discount on the memberships, goggles are provided and no one is pushy trying to sell me extra things. I have only used the tanning and spray tan options, which I really like, however I was given some spa services to try and I look forward to using them soon. read more

BEWARE OF "MEMBERSHIP" While the girls at the front desk are nice, customer service for Tan Your Hide is deplorable. Do not sign a "contract." They will milk you for every dime when you either 1. Figure out that mystic tan is gross and ugly OR 2. Can't afford to pay for something you aren't using. Corporate failed to work with me at all so that I could fulfill and pay something I could afford, even if I wasn't using the service, only offering a solution where I paid more (and thank you put myself at risk for cancer?????). Business practice is deplorable, and I ended up having to go through the bank to make things right. If you want a spray tan, go someplace else or pay by the tan, do not sign any paperwork. They'll pretend you're signing over your soul and first born all at once. UPDATE: Just because I expect a response from the company about how I signed the contract, it should be noted, they're opting to send me to collections. Which I'll also dispute, but regardless. Just be aware, that's their idea of "customer service." It's a perfect example of what they think customer service is. They don't care at all, other than about getting money for services not actually rendered. If I had used the service in the last several months, that might be one thing, but I haven't been there and I'm not going to pay for it. UPDATE 2: The facts in the "response" are false. I haven't used the service since late spring/early summer. I used it all of 3-4 times. I tried to cancel much earlier, at the beginning of August, but was ignored until this month when I told them they would not be getting any more money from me. And as pointed out in my first update, they only care about getting money for services not rendered. They have no idea that customer service doesn't mean they shove things down your throat. No one said they weren't professional about it, they're just horrible human beings for doing it. I could've gone with another membership, it was offered several times. It was an option that puts me at risk for skin cancer, and cost $4 MORE a month, when my problem clearly was that I wasn't going to pay for a service that was unsatisfactory. Why would I pay more for a service that's even more unsatisfactory. Spray tan is gross, but at least it isn't going to kill me. I love that you offered options: 1. Pay for services not rendered. 2. Pay more for services that are unsatisfactory. 3. Get sent to collections. Seriously, use your brain. What would you do? What would you do if it was your grandma in this situation. It's not that hard to see what the right thing is to do. read more

Horrible company! Run away, don't sign anything! I paid 500 upfront and only got to go 3 times! I was transferred to pueblo and the company refused to freeze my account, took my money and laughed. Ask for the owner name and the employees become nervous and say that they could be fired for telling you!? What kind of business is that? Got another account when I came back to town, this time on a monthly plan, and was injured at work and tried to close my account. Sandy the manager, don't believe a word she says. Said to me " I'm not supposed to do this, but I will have someone else take over your account." Liar! Now I am going to court after no contact but being served! Paid in cash my last month and now there is "no record of payment." In short, God forbid if you sign ANYTHING with this company. The mystery owner, which I am looking up tax records today for the name, cares nothing about the customer and wants to ROB them of their money. They want money so bad that their business must be hurting! Because they are willing to lie and say that a military wife, avid volunteer, and mother of four would refuse to pay her account. bought the groupon for 2 spray tans. Came in yesterday and got the first one, the darkest one and added extra bronzers and it's now 24 hours later and still haven't seen any change in color.
