Bear with me, this is long -- I'm enraged. If I could give 0 stars I would. I just left the facility, within 5 minutes before closing. I got there at 7:35 and Summer was the one to "help" me. She was being very short when I asked about the prices and after a few pricing questions, she disclosed that we only had 20 minutes and that I wouldn't be able to tan because I'd be "messing up with her time" and that "she wanted to go home". Then I asked her "would you please let me get a tan? We still have 20 minutes, the paperwork shouldn't take that long" and then she got loud with me, called me rude for demanding for a tan. I then told her "you're reading too much into it, I literally just asked you a question and you started being rude and loud". Then she protested "I'm not being rude! We will do the paperwork and I'll see how much time we have, how does that sound?" After I replied with "that's good" she mumbled "Jesus Christ". After all the 5 sheets of paper I had to initial (because that's a lot of paperwork and that will take too long) she told me "okay, I have to clean the Versa and you'll just gonna be able to do a base shade, no add ons" that was at 0745. "Can you please just add a bronzer? I know that the Versa gives an orange tint without a bronzer and I don't want that." She refused and said "no. That's all I can do for now. I'm already gonna spend a long time closing the store because of this." I then started checking other facilities times and yes, they all close at 8pm. So I said "yeah, this is not gonna work for me. I'll just come back tomorrow. What's your name?" She didn't respond, she didn't even look at me. I persisted, maybe she didn't hear me: "Hey, what's your name?" She again, didn't respond and kept messing with the papers on the table. Then I asked a third and last time "Whats your name? Are you gonna ignore me?" She then looks at me and said: "I'm not gonna give you my name because I know you're gonna try to get me in trouble!" Fed up, I then told her to cancel the contract. She then complied, said she'd do that and yelled at me "we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, you better leave right now before I call the cops!!" So then I brought my cellphone camera up and told her to repeat it, she calmed her tone down, told me she wasn't yelling. I asked for my paperwork back, and she refused a bunch of times. I sinsisted and said again I'd be cancelling the contract, so finally she gives me my contract paperwork. I then left. I would love to post this video. What a joke of an employee. P.S.: I ended up getting her name confirmed here on the reviews because of the call she took while "helping" me. Remember to be kind folks! Especially in a customer service job! I've NEVER in my life have been treated so poorly in any type of salon. read more

Out of all of the tanning salons I have frequented this business is my favorite. I only started coming here because of the close proximity to my house since I recently moved, and I am so glad I did. Every single interaction has been a positive one. All of the employees are always friendly and the environment always clean. read more

This salon is great! Somewhat pricy but they have tons of options. Loved my tan! Location is very clean! read more

Came to tan yesterday about 7:35PM. Sign on the door says closes at 8. The doors were locked and an employee was leaving, who told me that "he" closes at 7, whoever "he" is. This is the third time I have showed up during advertised hours that it's been closed. The last time this happened, I was told I would get a level 4 tan applied to my account for free for the inconvenience. It was never applied. I hate this place and am trapped in my contract. I never would have signed up if I knew the hours would change without notice and that I would be unable to use my membership. False advertising, horrendous customer service, I do not recommend that anyone would go here! read more

Tan Your Hide - Falsely advertised hours. Who knows when they will actually be open, because these are subject to change at "his" will. - Spray Tanning Near Me - Colorado Springs, Colorado

Very clean and the atmosphere is nice. Love all the girls that work there. Morgan is my favorite.

Front desk staff was friendly, sure. Then it came time to sign my contract. Turns out, they don't honor SCRA. They want to charge you $50 to cancel your contract, even with PCS/deployment orders. If you're military personnel, DO NOT USE. Their response literally proves my point - they do not honor SCRA (federal law) and charge military $50 to break the contract, despite orders. There's another tanning salon down the road that charges nothing if you're on orders to break contacts. read more

Can't lie I need my tan! This location is huge, I never have to wait since they have so many beds. There's other services I haven't taken advantage of yet here but I've used some elsewhere before and know it's a great treat! Ergoline beds are the best and I'm so Happy they have my favorite one which keeps me golden! Misty has helped me since I started tanning here and has turned into a great friend and such a friendly face to see! The only con to some people may be the contract stipulations but I think we all know these issues when signing any contract, understand it before signing. Happy tanning y'all! read more

I was only here for 2 months and I purchased 60 minutes which I thought was a great deal! The staff were always friendly at this location. Clean facility and loved the atmosphere. read more

I visited this last Friday. The young woman helping me so very kind and patient. Everything seemed very clean and orderly.

Super friendly, clean, nice environment. Good prices! I decided to get the 60 minutes of tanning which is a really nice option. You can split it up over time. Since I use the level 4 beds which are really nice I don't need to go as often. Easy and quick contactless check in. read more

This place was awesome all around. Sandi the manager was great, extremely thorough and knowledgeable! The building was so clean and the beds were immaculate! The owner even took time out of his busy day to chat with us, felt so inviting! I would definitely recommend this place for all your tanning needs! CC read more

Misty and Breezy are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. New to this location but am looking forward to making this my tanning home.

Great beds!! Awesome tanning! Supeer clean! And Ana is amazing!!!! I love this location. So many different services.

I've tanned outside, I've tanned inside elsewhere, and nobody compares to the quality of service here. The staff is courteous, upbeat, and professional. I love coming here and there's nowhere else I want to Tan My Hide. read more

Do the owners of the Tan your Hide - think that we in the Monument area - not worthy of your services. Your recent add has nothing to do with you Jackson Creek and I am not driving to south ten buck two for the other services unless you are going to start paying for mileage. I love the TYH in Jackson Creek- it is sad that we are worthy. This is BS! Maybe you are just a lazy franchise that do not care about all of your other clients and stores! read more

Very clean and nice location, the staff seemed friendly and accommodating. The level 2 bed wasn't really what I would expect to get when spending that kind of money. It really didn't seem any different from the basic beds I'd been in before. Other than that I was a good experience overall. read more

Awesome facility... Very clean and neat.. The staff is always friendly and helpful!! Love it!

This location is awesome. The ladies that work here are so nice and helpful. I have really sensitive skin, the ladies helped me find a lotion that would be gentle for my skin. I have been a VIP for 2 years and the reason is because of the awesome customer service I receive every time I go in. read more

I needed a tan pretty quick for a trip I was taking, so I decided to use the coupon from their website for a sunless tan. It was easy and fast and the girls were super nice and explained everything to me. They mentioned a new process they had but they didn't push it on me (I ended up getting it anyway). The booth was clean and it was fast (I think it took less than 10 minutes even with drying time) and I believe I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. I was satisfied. If I felt like I *had* to be tan in a hurry again I'd probably go back. read more

Nicole is amazing at the front!!! They give you so many options to choose from, and help you understand the difference between each bed and level. Their beds are always clean and sanitary. I have driven by this location for months, unsure if I wanted to tan- I know, "who doesn't want a nice tan?" Furthermore, I have read the below comments and I am floored- I feel that a lot of these folks are just out for some "free-stuff" as most of what they have written in their reviews is complete and utter fluff. Seriously, read your contracts, it's an extremely simple process. If you do not ask the questions while you are signing up then it's your own fault for getting (as most have put it) "stuck / suckered" into an agreement you are not satisfied with. If you want an honest review of this establishment, please, continue to read my review. I finally decided to go in for more information on their packages / tanning lotions / bed choices- I'm glad I did! This place is HUGE, much larger than I imagined. The lady behind the desk, Brandy, was very kind and knowledgable on all Tan Your Hide has to offer. There were a few folks in line behind me, and rather than rushing to answer my questions or shoo me to the side to help them, Brandy kept answering my questions and walked me through the packages; I really appreciated her attentiveness. I also inquired about tanning lotion (automatically assuming she would recommend the most expensive one), she asked what I was hoping to accomplish with my tanning visits (Vitamin D, light tan, dark tan, etc.), I told her what I was looking for and she recommended one of the more moderately priced lotions rather than the most expensive. I was really pleased that she didn't try to up-sale me simply to make a few extra dollars. I decided on a package and she walked me to the bed I would be using. I was really pleased that towels and goggles were provided for each visit- what a relief, one less thing I have to purchase and bring with me every visit. The room was extremely clean, warm, and inviting. I immediately felt very comfortable. I would like to give them 5-stars, but unfortunately their tanning packages are a little more expensive than the ones I have seen at other tanning locations (different companies). If you are looking for a great tanning experience with helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly employees this is the location for you! read more

Summer was very friendly and helpful as she educated us about the different levels of tanning beds.

Great tanning salon in Springs. Front desk ladies are always fabulous and helpful! Also the basic bed bulbs are great, which is a plus for those of us on a budget. Looks like there are some poor reviews about people's contracts, but I'd be interested to see how many of these people didn't follow the proper terms for canceling. I've never had issues. read more

I love how clean the facility is and how friendly the ladies are upfront. Wish I had purchased the level 4 though.

Very nice facility but a little over priced, if you ask me. However, the monthly and vip memberships are a much better deal

Usually, the customer service at tanning salons are filled with unpleasant employees that aren't the least bit informative or helpful. However, at Tan Your Hide that completely changed my attitude towards the tanning salon customer service. Alison explained in detail what I could expect from each lotion and bed which really helped me narrow what I need and want out of my tanning experience. Definitely sold me on all that this place has to offer. Thanks, Alison! read more

The woman working today was incredibly helpful and patient. Her name is Katie.

This is my favorite location and I appreciate how clean the facility is and how friendly the staff is. Today, Summer was so kind to explain the different levels of beds. I learned so much by her information and now understand the benefit of using a tanning bed higher than level 1, including the red and bronze rays. So interesting and helpful! read more
